Davis caught one of four targets for 15 yards in Saturday's preseason game at Chicago.

Davis and a number of other starters played two or three drives, while superstars Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs came out after RB Damien Harris scored a TD on the opening series. Davis gets a tough matchup to start the regular season with Buffalo traveling to the Meadowlands for Monday Night Football against a Jets defense led by CBs Sauce Gardner and D.J. Reed. Last year, Davis caught five of nine targets for 64 yards in two matchups with the Jets.

Watson caught one of three targets for a six-yard touchdown in Saturday's preseason game against Seattle.

Watson and QB Jordan Love, among other starters, played the first three drives of the game against Seattle's second-string defense. Watson got behind everyone for a potential 49-yard TD on the final drive, but he was unable to make a tough play after Love badly underthrew him. The second-year wideout came back with a six-yard TD on a back-shoulder throw to finish out the same drive, and he looks to be the top option in Green Bay's remade passing game ahead of a Week 1 trip to Chicago.

Moore caught one of two targets for 40 yards in Saturday's preseason game against Buffalo.

Moore had his second long catch-and-run of the preseason, following a 62-yard TD on a screen pass a couple weeks prior. QB Justin Fields also has familiar teammates WR Darnell Mooney and TE Cole Kmet as receiving weapons, but there's no doubt about Moore being the top option heading into a tricky Week 1 matchup with a Green Bay defense that has the option of using CB Jaire Alexander (groin/foot) in shadow coverage.

Thomas entered the Vikings' medical tent before heading to the locker room during Saturday's preseason contest versus the Cardinals, Andrew Krammer of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.

Thomas took a big hit on a muffed punt return in the second quarter, though it's unclear exactly what injury he could be dealing with. The undrafted rookie out of NC State did not record a catch before exiting Saturday's contest, and he is likely competing for a spot on Minnesota's practice squad as a deep reserve option at wideout and/or punt returner.

Diggs and QB Josh Allen played just one drive and led the Bills to a quick touchdown. They'll get a bigger challenge Week 1 at the Jets on Monday Night Football, facing a talented Gang Green defense that features one of the best cornerback duos in the league -- Sauce Gardner and D.J. Reed.

Powell did not suit up for the Vikings' preseason finale versus the Cardinals on Saturday, as he appears to have already locked up a spot on the team's final 53-man roster, Kevin Seifert of ESPN.com reports.

Powell has been competing for one of Minnesota's final wide receiver spots after signing a one-year deal with the team in March. According to Alec Lewis of The Athletic, the 5-foot-8 slot receiver has performed very well during training camp, so it's likely that the Vikings saw no reason to play him if he's already in line for a roster spot. Powell caught 24 passes (on 32 targets) for 156 yards over 17 games with the Rams last season, and he should also slot in as a backup returner on special teams for Minnesota.

Grant exited Saturday's preseason finale after suffering an apparent leg injury, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

The Browns' team doctors had to put an air cast on Grant following the injury, according to Aditi Kinkhabwala of NFL Network, which indicates this is a serious issue. Aside from an 11-game stint with the Bears in 2021, the veteran returner has spent most of his six-year career in Miami. He's been working on a fresh start in Cleveland and had been expected to return both kicks and punts for the team before suffering this injury. It remains to be seen how long he will be sidelined.

Doubs will not play in Saturday's preseason contest against the Seahawks due to a hamstring injury, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.

Doubs evidently suffered the injury during the waning stages of this week's practice. The second-year target has been one of the Packers' training camp stars to date, and he's created a rapport with Jordan Love to the tune of four catches for 73 yards and a touchdown in a little over four series of play across two preseason contests. More information regarding the severity of the injury will likely emerge prior to the September regular-season start.

Shakir (ribs) is not in line to play in Saturday's preseason finale against the Bears, Joe Buscaglia of The Athletic reports.

Shakir will now focus on recovering from his rib injury in time for Week 1 action. Once he's back in the mix, the 2022 fifth-rounder will continue to compete with Trent Sherfield and Deonte Harty for slotting behind Buffalo's top WR duo of Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis.

Doubs won't play in Saturday's preseason finale against the Seahawks, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.

No injury has been reported, but it's possible Doubs is a bit banged up given that most of the other players resting are either star veterans or recovering from injuries. The other key pieces of Green Bay's passing game -- QB Jordan Love and WRs Christian Watson and Jayden Reed -- are expected to play Saturday afternoon. Doubs won't play in the final exhibition, but he appears locked in for a top-three role for the season opener at Chicago on Sept. 10.
