  • Broncos' Brandon Johnson: Joins 53-man roster

Johnson was promoted to the Broncos' active roster Saturday, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.

Johnson is likely to be active for the third straight game while being bumped up from the practice squad on each occasion. He has three catches for 12 yards and a score in his first two games, and his involvement in Week 13 against the Ravens could depend on whether Jerry Jeudy (ankle) is active.

  • Cornell Powell WR | PIT

Chiefs' Cornell Powell: Elevated for Week 13

Powell was elevated to the Chiefs' active roster Saturday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.

Powell will join the active roster as the fifth wide receiver with Kadarius Toney (hamstring) out for another week. Powell will contribute primarily on special teams, as he has played only three offensive snaps across two games on the campaign.

  • Tylan Wallace WR | CLE

Ravens' Tylan Wallace: Going onto IR

Baltimore placed Wallace (hamstring) on its injured reserve list Saturday, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.

Wallace was already forced to miss the Ravens' loss at Jacksonville in Week 12 due to a hamstring injury, and he'll now have to miss at least the next four games as well. Binjimen Victor could see some more run in the absence of the 2021 fourth-rounder.

  • Seahawks' Laquon Treadwell: Gets elevation for Week 13

Seattle activated Treadwell from its practice squad to the active roster Saturday ahead of Sunday's game at the Rams, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.

Treadwell will join the Seahawks' 53-man roster for a second consecutive game, and after Sunday he'll be eligible for just one more elevation before he would have to be signed to the team's active roster in order to suit up. He played just seven offensive snaps in Week 12.

  • Deebo Samuel WR | SF

49ers' Deebo Samuel: Trending toward game-time call

Samuel (quadriceps), who is listed as questionable, is trending toward a game-time decision for Sunday's matchup against the Dolphins, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.

Samuel picked up a deep thigh bruise in last Sunday's win over the Saints, and the team has been relatively cautious with the star receiver's practice time as a result. The 49ers are expected to have Samuel test the quad injury in pregame warmups, but official word on his status may not arrive until San Francisco releases its inactive list 90 minutes prior to the 4:05 p.m ET kickoff.

  • Russell Gage WR | SF

Buccaneers' Russell Gage: Trending in positive direction

Gage (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Monday's contest against the Saints, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports.

Gage was limited in practice both Thursday and Friday, but the veteran receiver was upgraded to a full participant in the final practice of the week, which should be a good sign for fantasy managers. The 26-year-old has not played since Week 7 due to a hamstring injury, and he had just one game with more than two receptions in the four weeks prior to suffering the aforementioned injury.

  • Lions' Jameson Williams: Set for debut

Williams (knee) was activated off the reserve/non-football injury list Saturday and is expected to play in Sunday's matchup against the Jaguars, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

It's unclear how much Williams will actually play as the Lions are arguably the healthiest they've been all season at wide receiver, but given the team wasn't pressed against a deadline with this activation, there's clearly some plan to involve the Alabama product. The rookie receiver hasn't played since tearing his ACL back in November, but when healthy he could be regarded as one of the more electric playmakers in the entire league. Expect Williams to easily gain a foothold on a top-three WR spot once he's eventually deemed capable of commanding a full snap share.

  • Rashid Shaheed WR | SEA

Saints' Rashid Shaheed: Set for Monday

Shaheed (back) does not carry an injury into Monday's contest against the Buccaneers, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports.

The return man has been sharing time with Kevin White and Tre'Quan Smith as the team's No. 3 wideout, but at least in comparison to the other two, the undrafted rookie had an explosive outing in last week's loss to the 49ers. It would be unlikely for Shaheed to break out further with the likes of Jarvis Landry and Chris Olave set to garner the majority of the targets in the passing game.

  • Rams' Austin Trammell: Earns promotion to active roster

The Rams signed Trammell from their practice squad to the 53-man roster Saturday ahead of Sunday's game versus Seattle.

With Allen Robinson (foot) recently having joined Cooper Kupp (ankle) on the injured reserve list, the Rams saw fit to bring Trammell aboard to provide some depth at the wide receiver position. The 24-year-old wideout has yet to play an offensive snap in his NFL career.

  • Broncos' Courtland Sutton: Optimism for Sunday

Sutton, who is listed as questionable with an illness, progressed well Saturday and is trending toward playing Sunday against the Ravens, Mike Klis of 9News Denver reports.

The Broncos didn't change the injury status of their star wide receiver and also promoted wide receiver Brandon Johnson to the active roster, but Sutton still appears to have progressed to a point where he'll available for Sunday's contest. Expect more information on his status to trickle out prior to the 1 p.m. ET kickoff.
