Carter (illness) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Falcons, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports.

Given that Keenan Allen (hamstring) and Mike Williams (knee) are inactive Sunday, Joshua Palmer and Carter figure to lead the Chargers' Week 9 wideout corps. With increased opportunities likely on tap for Carter in that scenario, the 29-year-old - who has caught 19 passes on 28 targets for 229 yards and a TD in seven games to date -- represents a fantasy lineup option for those who roster Allen or Williams or are seeking short-term WR help, with six NFL teams on bye.

Reynolds (back) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Packers.

Reynolds has dealt with ankle and knee injuries so far this season, but neither of them impacted his snap count on game day, as he ranged between 72 and 91 percent of the offensive plays in the Lions' first seven contests. Now with a back issue in tow, he managed just one limited session during Week 9 prep and won't be available to the offense Sunday. Detroit instead will turn to Amon-Ra St. Brown, Kalif Raymond, Tom Kennedy, Stanley Berryhill and Brandon Zylstra at wide receiver.

Kemp was elevated to the Chiefs active roster from the practice squad Saturday, Matt Derrick of ChiefsDigest.com reports.

Kemp's bump up from the practice squad for Sunday's matchup with the Titans will give the team seven receivers on the active roster. This move may seem to contradict the expectations that Kadarius Toney will play, but he's fully expected to be ready to go for the contest.

Toney will active Sunday for his Chiefs debut against the Titans, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

The report notes that Toney -- who isn't listed on Kansas City's Week 9 injury report -- has recovered from the Grade 2 hamstring pull that he suffered Week 2 while he was with the Giants. In his looming debut with the Chiefs, the second-year wideout will likely handle a light workload, but as the season progresses, look for Toney to work his way into the team's wideout rotation.

Beckham (knee) hopes to complete his recovery form a torn ACL and sign with a team around early December, Mike Garofolo and Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

After suffering the left knee injury in the Rams' Feb. 13 Super Bowl victory over the Bengals and undergoing surgery two weeks later, Beckham was hopeful to be back to 100 percent by around mid-November. The veteran wideout hasn't hit any reported snags in his rehab program, but he nonetheless looks like he'll require at least a couple more weeks beyond mid-November to get back to 100 percent. The Bills, Giants, Rams, Packers and Chiefs are teams that have previously been linked to Beckham, and Garofolo and Rapoport add that the Cowboys are also expected to pursue the 30-year-old after coming up empty in their bid to acquire a receiver ahead of Tuesday's trade deadline.

Bowden was elevated from the Patriots' practice squad to the active roster on Saturday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.

Bowden has spent the entire season on the Patriots' practice squad and has yet to be active for a game. However, with DeVante Parker (knee) ruled out, Bowden is poised to serve as depth among the team's receiving corps for Sunday's game against the Colts. He's most likely to see the field on special teams.

Berryhill was signed to the Lions' active roster Saturday.

Berryhill was active for the first time in Week 8, but he'll have the chance to make an impact for the rest of the season with Detroit's wide receiver corps currently depleted. He'll still be relatively buried on the depth chart and is likely to serve primarily on special teams.

Nailor (illness) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Commanders.

Nailor was unable to practice in any capacity during the week due to illness and will be inactive for the second time this season. He's served primarily on special teams and has only one catch for 13 yards in six games on the campaign.

Chisena was elevated from the Vikings' practice squad to the active roster Saturday ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Commanders.

Chisena has spent much of the season on the Vikings' practice squad and this marks the second time he has been elevated to the active roster. The first occasion came in Week 5, when he played only two offensive snaps. He is likely to play a limited role once again against the Commanders.

Irwin was elevated to the Bengals' active roster Saturday in advance of Sunday's matchup against the Panthers.

Irwin made his first appearance of the season in Week 8 in the absence of Ja'Marr Chase (hip). He'll likely be active for the second consecutive contest after tallying two receptions for 27 yards against the Browns.
