Marquise Goodwin WR | CLE
Seahawks' Marquise Goodwin: No practice Thursday
Goodwin (groin) was a non-participant at Thursday's practice, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
With back-to-back DNPs so far this week, Goodwin doesn't seem to be in a good spot, health-wise, ahead of Sunday's road matchup with the Cardinals. If he's limited or sidelined this weekend, DK Metcalf (knee) and Tyler Lockett (hamstring/ribs) will lead the Seahawks' receiving corps, with second-year pro Dee Eskridge the best bet for any targets that linger.

Tyler Lockett WR | LV
Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: Full practice Thursday
Lockett (hamstring/ribs) practiced fully Thursday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
After a week in which he tended to hamstring and rib injuries, Lockett seemingly is in the clear following the second session of Week 9 prep. The same can be said for DK Metcalf (knee), setting the duo up to face a Cardinals defense Sunday that has conceded the fifth-most catches (105) but only five total touchdowns to wide receivers in eight games this season.
-
DK Metcalf WR | PIT
Seahawks' DK Metcalf: Logs full practice Thursday
Metcalf (knee) practiced in full Thursday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
With all activity in a session for the first time since suffering a patellar tendon injury Week 7 at the Chargers, Metcalf has a clean bill of health as the Seahawks prepare for Sunday's contest at Arizona. The same can be said for Tyler Lockett (hamstring/ribs), so the pair will look to exploit a Cardinals defense that has given up the fifth-most catches (105) but just five total touchdowns to wide receivers in eight games this season.
-
Van Jefferson WR | WAS
Rams' Van Jefferson: Limited again Thursday
Jefferson (knee) was limited in Thursday's practice, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.
Jefferson made his season debut Week 8 against the 49ers, ultimately finishing fourth among Rams wide receivers in offensive snap share (53 percent) behind Cooper Kupp (95), Allen Robinson (93) and Ben Skowronek (62). While that trio combined for 20 targets, Jefferson wasn't looked at by quarterback Matthew Stafford. L.A. likely has placed a cap on his reps, both in practice and in games, until he's back to 100 percent, so it may be some time still before he's contributing to box scores on a weekly basis. In the end, though, Jefferson's status bears watching as the weekend approaches.

Keenan Allen WR | IND
Chargers' Keenan Allen: Misses second straight practice
Allen (hamstring) remained sidelined at practice Thursday, Lindsey Thiry of ESPN.com reports.
With Allen evidently having had a setback with his left hamstring injury, the wideout's status for Sunday's game against the Falcons is cloudy in the wake of back-to-back missed practices. If Allen is out this weekend, Joshua Palmer (concussion) and DeAndre Carter likely would lead the Chargers' Week 9 receiving corps, with Mike Williams sidelined by an ankle injury.
-
Cooper Kupp WR | SEA
Rams' Cooper Kupp: Limited in return to practice
Kupp (ankle) practiced on a limited basis Thursday, Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reports.
After sitting out Wednesday's session, Kupp was expected to get back on the field Thursday with a cap on his reps, which came to pass. He may continue to operate with practice limitations this week after having his right ankle rolled up near the end of this past Sunday's loss to the 49ers. Friday's injury report ultimately will reveal whether or not Kupp enters the weekend with a designation for Sunday's road matchup with the Buccaneers.

Brandin Cooks WR | SF
Texans' Brandin Cooks: Inactive Thursday
Cooks (wrist/personal) is inactive for Thursday night's game against the Eagles.
Given that fellow wideout Nico Collins (groin) previously was ruled out for the contest, look for Phillip Dorsett and Chris Moore to head the Texans' Week 9 wideout corps, with Tyron Johnson and practice squad elevation Jalen Camp also in the mix. While neither Dorsett nor Moore represent high-percentage fantasy lineup options, either of the two could possess a degree of utility in deeper formats for those who need to fill in for Cooks or are seeking some short-term wideout depth with six NFL teams on bye this week. Cooks' next chance to suit up for game action will arrive Week 10 against the Giants, but at this stage it remains to be seen how the Texans plan to proceed with the veteran wideout -- who reportedly is frustrated that he wasn't dealt ahead of Tuesday's trade deadline -- beyond Thursday's contest.

Dazz Newsome WR | SF
Dazz Newsome: Let go from practice squad
Newsome was cut from the Chiefs' practice squad Thursday, Matt Derrick of ChiefsDigest.com reports.
Newsome secured a spot with Kansas City's practice squad Monday after being waived by the Bears late in August, but he was let go to help make room for safety Ugo Amadi. The second-year wideout caught just two passes over three games during his rookie campaign with Chicago, and he will now look for a new squad where he can carve out a role this season.
-
Malik Turner WR | SF
Malik Turner: Heading to Las Vegas
The Raiders signed Turner to their practice squad Thursday.
Turner was just let go from San Fransisco's practice squad Tuesday, after he already received a maximum of three elevations to the 49ers' active roster in 2022. He'll now serve as an emergency depth option for the Raiders in case any of their wide receivers are forced to miss time. In those three contests Turner suited up for this season, he's operated primarily as a special-teams contributor.

Russell Gage WR | SF
Buccaneers' Russell Gage: Still no activity at practice
Gage (hamstring) was a non-participant at Thursday's practice.
Gage remains sidelined due to the hamstring issue that he suffered Week 7 in Carolina and appears to be trending toward a second straight absence Sunday against the Rams. If such an outcome is confirmed on the release of Friday's injury report, the Buccaneers likely will roll with their top three wide receivers Mike Evans (ankle) -- who was limited Wednesday and Thursday -- Chris Godwin and Julio Jones (knee) in Week 9
