  • Jahan Dotson WR | ATL

Commanders' Jahan Dotson: Still not practicing

Dotson (hamstring) isn't practicing Thursday, Zach Selby of the Commanders' official site reports.

According to Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post, Dotson recently aggravated the hamstring injury that has sidelined him for the Commanders' previous three games, which explains why he's logged no activity for the team's first two practices of Week 8 after practicing on a limited basis twice Week 7. Jhabvala suggests that Dotson could be in store for another multi-week recovery timeline in light of the setback, so at the very least, fantasy managers shouldn't count on the rookie wideout making it back for Sunday's game in Indianapolis.

  • Nico Collins WR | HOU

Texans' Nico Collins: Sits out second straight practice

Collins (groin) isn't participating in Thursday's practice, Brooks Kubena of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Though Texans head coach Lovie Smith has already noted that the groin injury Collins suffered in the team's Week 7 loss to the Raiders isn't a season-ending concern, the wideout seems likely to miss at least one game, and a stint on injured reserve could still be in play. Collins has now missed two straight practices to begin Week 8 prep, and though he hasn't been ruled out from playing in Sunday's game against the Titans, he'll face an uphill battle to gain clearance for that contest. Phillip Dorsett would be the main beneficiary from added playing time if Collins ends up sitting out this weekend.

  • Maurice Alexander: Back on practice squad

The Lions re-signed Alexander to the practice squad Wednesday.

Alexander has already suited up for three games with Detroit this season, playing five snaps on offense (zero targets) and 21 snaps on special teams. The rookie now gets a chance to continue his development with the team.

  • Daurice Fountain: Joins Bears' practice squad

Chicago signed Fountain to the practice squad Wednesday, per the NFL's official transactions report.

Fountain will get a chance to compete for an emergency reserve role with the Bears after having begun the 2022 season on the Chifes' practice squad. In his two appearances with Kansas City this season, Fountain played two offensive snaps and was not targeted.

  • Michael Bandy WR | DEN

Chargers' Michael Bandy: Loses yards on six targets

Bandy recorded minus-5 receiving yards on six targets while playing 40 of the Chargers' 69 snaps on offense in last Sunday's 37-23 loss to the Seahawks.

Incredibly, Bandy has negative yardage on eight targets over his last two contests, as he recorded a four-yard reception on two looks in the Chargers' previous game Week 6 versus the Broncos. The 58 percent snap share he saw Week 7 was a new season-high rate, but expect Bandy's opportunities to take a hit coming out of the Week 8 bye if Keenan Allen (hamstring) -- who was limited against the Seahawks -- and Joshua Palmer (concussion) are both available. Bandy may not fall out of the game plan entirely, however, as the Chargers are likely to be without Mike Williams (ankle) for at least a couple of games.

  • Byron Pringle WR | WAS

Bears' Byron Pringle: Cleared for practice

The Bears designated Pringle (calf) for return from injured reserve Wednesday, Kevin Fishbain of The Athletic reports.

The transaction opens up a 21-day window for the Bears to evaluate Pringle in practice, and he's eligible to rejoin the 53-man roster at any point during that three-week span. The calf injury has sidelined Pringle since Week 3, but once healthy, Pringle should take on a depth role within the Bears' receiving corps.

  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: Limited in return to practice

Lockett (hamstring) was a limited participant at Wednesday's practice, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.

Lockett didn't practice at all last week before playing this past Sunday at the Chargers, so his return to the practice field in some capacity this week bodes well for his upcoming availability. He logged fewer offensive snaps (67 percent) than normal last week en route to hauling in seven of eight targets for 45 yards, but the Seahawks now are faced with a potential absence from DK Metcalf, who didn't practice Wednesday due to a patellar tendon injury. The state of Seattle's receiving corps may receive some clarity by week's end, but Lockett doesn't seem as though he'll miss Sunday's contest against the Giants.

  • Jamal Agnew WR | ATL

Jaguars' Jamal Agnew: Limited practice Wednesday

Agnew (knee) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice.

After sitting out the Jaguars' Week 7 loss to the Giants, Agnew was able to take on some practice reps to begin Week 8 prep. Considering he didn't practice in any fashion last week, Agnew at least seems to be making progress in his recovery from the knee injury. He'll have two more practices to potentially increase his activity and approach Sunday's game against the Broncos without an injury designation.

  • Mack Hollins WR | NE

Raiders' Mack Hollins: Limited at practice Wednesday

Hollins (heel) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday, Rachel Gossen of the Raiders' official site reports.

Hollins was limited at practice last week by the same injury, but the wideout suited up for Sunday's win over the Texans and ended up playing all 56 snaps on offense. With no reported setbacks in that contest, his limitations Wednesday may have simply been a matter of rep management ahead of this weekend's game against the Saints.

  • Hunter Renfrow WR | CAR

Raiders' Hunter Renfrow: Reps capped Wednesday

Renfrow (hip) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday, Rachel Gossen of the Raiders' official site reports.

After missing practice last Thursday due to a hip issue, Renfrow returned to a limited session Friday before suiting up for Sunday's 38-20 win over the Texans. In that contest, the slot man was on the field for 32 of a possible 56 snaps on offense while catching all three of his targets for 55 yards. With no reported setbacks, Renfrow's limitations Wednesday may just have been maintenance-related.
