Zay Jones WR | HOU
Jaguars' Zay Jones: Logs limited practice
Jones (ankle) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice.
Jones, who was inactive in Week 4 due to an ankle issue, returned to action in this past Sunday's 13-6 loss to the Texans. In the process, the wideout was on the field for 60 of a possible 75 snaps on offense, while catching three of his eight targets for 12 yards. Given that there's been no reported setbacks with his ankle, Jones' limitations Wednesday were quite possibly simply a case of the team managing his practice reps ahead of this Sunday's game in Indianapolis.

Russell Gage WR | SF
Buccaneers' Russell Gage: Dealing with ankle issue
Gage didn't practice Wednesday due to an ankle injury.
As of the final injury report of Week 5 last Friday, Gage had been bothered only by a hamstring issue this season. However, the Buccaneers added him to the report Saturday due to a back concern before he suited up this past Sunday against the Falcons. Gage logged a typical 73 percent of the offensive snaps but managed to haul in just two of six targets for 20 yards. His health has now been compromised by a new issue this week, and as a result, Gage's status should be monitored to get a sense of whether he's in danger of sitting out Sunday in Pittsburgh.

Chris Olave WR | NO
Saints' Chris Olave: DNP on Wednesday
Olave (concussion) officially didn't practice Wednesday.
Olave joined his teammates for stretching prior to Wednesday's session before going off to the side, according to Mike Triplett of NewOrleans.Football. On a positive note, Olave at least was on the field, which can't be said for fellow wide receivers Michael Thomas (foot), Jarvis Landry (ankle) and Deonte Harty (foot). Olave thus looks to have made some progress in his recovery from the concussion he sustained when his helmet banged the turf at the end of his third-quarter touchdown catch this past Sunday versus the Seahawks, and the rookie first-round pick still has two practices this week to make his presence felt in drills.
-
Jakobi Meyers WR | JAC
Patriots' Jakobi Meyers: Reps capped Wednesday
Meyers (knee) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.
Meyers had his reps capped to begin Week 6 on the heels of delivering a 7-111-1 receiving line on eight targets in his return to action from a two-game absence in this past Sunday's 29-0 win over the Lions. With no reported setbacks in the contest, Meyers' listed limitations Wednesday could well be maintenance-related.
-
Michael Thomas WR | NO
Saints' Michael Thomas: Still not practicing
Thomas (foot) didn't take part in practice Wednesday.
There's no telling when Thomas will make his first appearance at practice since hurting his foot Week 3. And he's not the only banged-up wide receiver for the Saints, with Chris Olave (concussion), Jarvis Landry (ankle) and Deonte Harty (foot) joining Thomas as non-participants to kick off Week 6 prep. The next two days of practice will forecast who among the quartet may be available to the team Sunday versus the Bengals.
-
Nelson Agholor WR | BAL
Patriots' Nelson Agholor: Puts in limited practice
Agholor (hamstring) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday, Zack Cox of NESN.com reports.
Agholor left Sunday's win over the Lions after logging just seven snaps, so his status for this weekend's game against the Browns is worth monitoring. If Agholor ends up sitting out or is limited in Week 6, added opportunities would be available for DeVante Parker, Kendrick Bourne and Tyquan Thornton alongside Jakobi Meyers (knee).

Steven Sims WR | ARI
Steelers' Steven Sims: Not listed on injury report
Sims wasn't listed on the Steelers' injury report Wednesday, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reprots.
Sims suffered an eye injury during pregame warmups ahead of the team's Week 5 loss to the Steelers and didn't get onto the field until the second quarter. The extent of the situation remains unclear, but he appears to have cleared the issue and should reprise his role as the Steelers' top kicker returner in Week 6.
-
Chris Godwin WR | TB
Buccaneers' Chris Godwin: Now dealing with hip issue
Godwin (hip/knee) was a limited participant in practice Wednesday.
Previously, Godwin tended to hamstring and knee injuries this season, so the addition of a hip issue is a new reality for the sixth-year pro. The Buccaneers' receiving corps remains banged up, as Julio Jones (knee), Russell Gage (ankle) and Jaelon Darden (tooth) all didn't practice Wednesday. Godwin has gutted through his health concerns the last two games en route to 14 touches for 122 yards from scrimmage, and he'll look to do the same Sunday at Pittsburgh, assuming he gains clearance to play.
-
Tee Higgins WR | CIN
Bengals' Tee Higgins: Sits out practice after all
Higgins (ankle) didn't practice Wednesday, Jay Morrison of The Athletic reports.
An earlier report suggested Higgins should practice in some capacity Wednesday, but he'll start the week as a non-participant following his early exit from a 19-17 loss in Baltimore this past Sunday. A return to practice Thursday or Friday would give Higgins a shot to suit up in New Orleans this Sunday, with Mike Thomas on hand to fill in if that doesn't happen.
-
Diontae Johnson WR | CLE
Steelers' Diontae Johnson: Limited in practice
Johnson (hip) was limited at practice Wednesday.
A hip issue limited Johnson at practice last Thursday, but he returned to a full session Friday before heading into the Steelers' Week 5 game without an injury designation. With no reported setbacks coming out of a blowout loss to Buffalo in which he caught five of his 13 targets for 60 yards, Johnson's limited workload Wednesday may just have been maintenance-related.
