  • Jaguars' Christian Kirk: Disappears in losing effort

Kirk was held to one catch (three targets) for 11 yards in Sunday's 13-6 loss to Houston.

Kirk was already coming off of his worst game of the season last week (two catches for 60 yards), and Sunday's dud set the bar even lower. The three targets are alarming, as last week's two-catch performance came on nine targets. After racking up 267 yards and three touchdowns through his first three games, Kirk has fallen from must-start status to questionable fantasy asset in the blink of an eye. The only positive news for Kirk's fantasy managers is that next Sunday's opponent, the Indianapolis Colts, were torched for 78 yards and two touchdowns by the wideout when these two AFC South rivals met back in Week 2.

  • Khalil Shakir WR | BUF

Bills' Khalil Shakir: Scores first career TD

Shakir brought in three of five targets for 75 yards and a touchdown in the Bills' 38-3 win over the Steelers on Sunday. He also returned one kickoff for 34 yards.

The rookie was due for an expanded role coming in with Jamison Crowder (ankle), Isaiah McKenzie (concussion) and Jake Kumerow (ankle) all sidelined, and although his volume wasn't extraordinary, he made very good use of it. Shakir recorded his first professional touchdown on a 24-yard grab late in the first half, and he could still have a serviceable role in a Week 6 road showdown against the Chiefs even if McKenzie returns, as Crowder is expected to miss multiple games.

  • DK Metcalf WR | PIT

Seahawks' DK Metcalf: Long touchdown in loss

Metcalf tallied five receptions on eight targets for 88 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 39-32 loss to the Saints.

Metcalf did the majority of his damage on a 50-yard touchdown reception midway through the first quarter. He also appeared to have a 32-yard score early in the second half, but it was nullified by a holding call. Metcalf also lost a fumble, so it wasn't a perfect effort. On the other hand, he has put his big-play ability on full display in the last two weeks, recording five receptions of 20 yards or more and two of more than 40 yards.

  • Jets' Braxton Berrios: Notches rushing TD in Week 5 win

Berrios scored a 15-yard touchdown and caught his only target for minus-1 yard in Sunday's 40-17 win over the Dolphins.

After throwing a touchdown in the Week 4 win over the Steelers, Berrios found the end zone again, this time with his legs. Berrios continues to play sparingly on offense, but the All-Pro return man has proven he can provide an occasional spark outside of his role on special teams. He added 61 yards on two kick returns.

  • Tee Higgins WR | CIN

Bengals' Tee Higgins: Suiting up in Week 5

Higgins (ankle) is listed as active for Sunday night's game against the Ravens.

Higgins, who left the Bengals' Week 4 win over the Dolphins briefly due to an ankle issue, was able to return to the contest en route to recording seven catches for 124 yards and a touchdown. Though he was limited at practice this past week, he'll be out there Sunday, and barring any in-game setbacks he's in line to continue to see his share of targets from quarterback Joe Burrow against a Baltimore defense that to date is allowing an NFL-high 315.3 passing yards per outing. Four games into the current campaign, Higgins has caught 20 of his 28 targets (including 26 over his last three contests) for a team-high 315 receiving yards and two TDs.

  • Elijah Moore WR | PHI

Jets' Elijah Moore: Just one catch against Miami

Moore caught one of four targets for 11 yards in Sunday's 40-17 win over the Dolphins.

The arrival of rookie first-round pick Garrett Wilson has negatively impacted Moore's usage after a promising rookie season in 2021, and this game created a new low-water mark for Moore, who had between 41 and 53 receiving yards in each of New York's first four games. Moore continues to run plenty of routes, even if he isn't being targeted nearly as frequently as last season, so the production will likely start to trend up eventually. However, getting back on track in Week 6 won't be easy against the stout Packers secondary.

  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: Shreds New Orleans' secondary

Lockett recorded five receptions on six targets for 104 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 39-32 loss to the Saints.

Lockett did the majority of his damage on a pair of long scores that went for 40 and 35 yards. Those were his first touchdowns of the season, but he's been in strong form overall since a quiet opening week. Across his last four games, Lockett has topped 100 yards on two occasions and has at least one reception of 20 yards or more in every matchup.

  • Corey Davis WR | NYJ

Jets' Corey Davis: Two catches in Week 5

Davis caught two of four targets for 38 yards in Sunday's 40-17 home win over Miami.

Davis led all Jets wide receivers in yards for the second time in as many weeks with Zach Wilson under center, but the team didn't need much from the position in this one, as New York scored five rushing touchdowns and got 100 receiving yards from running back Breece Hall. Heading into the Jets' Week 6 trip to Green Bay, Davis has 17 catches for 299 yards and two touchdowns on 29 targets.

  • Garrett Wilson WR | NYJ

Jets' Garrett Wilson: Three catches in Week 5 win

Wilson caught three of four targets for 27 yards in Sunday's 40-17 win over the Dolphins.

Wilson was quiet for the second time in as many Zach Wilson starts at quarterback, though that was the case for all of New York's wide receivers in this one, as the Jets trampled Miami with five rushing touchdowns. The rookie first-round pick could benefit from a more pass-heavy game script in Week 6 against the Packers, but Wilson's usage will likely continue to ebb and flow in a New York offense with a lot of mouths to feed.

  • Chris Godwin WR | TB

Buccaneers' Chris Godwin: Seven total touches in win

Godwin secured all six targets for 61 yards and rushed once for two yards in the Buccaneers' 21-15 win over the Falcons on Sunday.

Godwin tied for second on the team in receptions and checked in third in receiving yards on the afternoon, and just as importantly, he made it through a second consecutive game with his health intact. Godwin has been busy, albeit in a shorter-area role, over the last two games, leading to a 13-120 line on 16 targets. Godwin draws a favorable matchup against a vulnerable and injury-hampered Steelers secondary on the road in Week 6.
