  • Panthers' Laviska Shenault: Ruled out for Week 5

Shenault (hamstring) is ruled out for Sunday's game against the 49ers.

Shenault couldn't practice in any capacity this week, so it's unsurprising to see him officially ruled out for Week 5. That paves the road for Shi Smith to operate as the unquestioned No. 3 wideout behind DJ Moore and Robbie Anderson against San Francisco's stout defense.

  • Giants' Wan'Dale Robinson: Trending in wrong direction

Robinson (knee) is not practicing Friday and is trending toward being ruled out for Sunday's game against the Packers, Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record reports.

Robinson's prospects appeared more optimistic after he practiced in a limited fashion Thursday, but it now looks like the rookie second-round pick may miss a fourth straight week. Friday's official injury report will reveal Robinson's actual initial designation for Sunday, but it's possible that a Giants receiving corps already without Kadarius Toney (hamstring) and Kenny Golladay (knee) could be further depleted versus Green Bay.

  • Kadarius Toney WR | CLE

Giants' Kadarius Toney: Injures other hamstring

Coach Brian Daboll said Friday that Toney is currently dealing with injuries to both hamstrings, Tom Rock of Newsday reports.

Toney made progress in his recovery from the hamstring injury that had sidelined him the last two weeks during Wednesday's practice, which he participated in to a limited extent, but he then tweaked his other hamstring. As a result, the 2021 first-round pick didn't travel with the Giants to London, and his recovery timetable may have been extended. With Kenny Golladay (knee) also ruled out, New York will rely on David Sills, Richie James (ankle) and Darius Slayton versus the Packers on Sunday. The team also could get rookie Wan'Dale Robinson (knee) back in the lineup.

  • Jerry Jeudy WR | CLE

Broncos' Jerry Jeudy: Three catches in OT loss

Jeudy brought in three of eight targets for 53 yards during the Broncos' 12-9 overtime loss to the Colts on Thursday night.

Jeudy was tied for second on the night in receptions and was the runner-up to Courtland Sutton in receiving yards and targets, but the opportunities didn't translate into much production. Jeudy now has back-to-back 53-yard efforts, and he has just a 10-134-1 line on 22 targets since a stellar four-catch, 102-yard, one-touchdown tally in the opener. Jeudy will aim to continue building more rapport with Russell Wilson during the extra time available ahead of a Week 6 Monday night road showdown against the Chargers on Oct. 17.

  • Broncos' Courtland Sutton: Solid numbers in loss

Sutton secured five of 11 targets for 74 yards in the Broncos' 12-9 overtime loss to the Colts on Thursday night.

Sutton's reception, receiving yardage and target totals led the Broncos on the night, but what would have been his most critical catch, a would-be game-winning touchdown grab in overtime on fourth down, didn't materialize. Sutton has demonstrated plenty of early chemistry with Russell Wilson, however, having drawn 47 targets through five games and parlaying them into a 29-417-1 line. Sutton and the rest of the air attack will look to finally get in sync during the extra time afforded the team ahead of a Week 6 Monday night road divisional showdown versus the Chargers on Oct. 17.

  • Alec Pierce WR | IND

Colts' Alec Pierce: Career-best effort in win

Pierce secured eight of nine targets for 81 yards in the Colts' 12-9 overtime win over the Broncos on Thursday night. He also committed a fumble recovered by Indianapolis.

The rookie stepped up with team-high reception, receiving yardage and target totals for the night, and he recorded a 3-33 line on the Colts' game-tying drive late in regulation. Pierce's totals were also new career highs, sending him into a Week 6 AFC South home showdown against the Jaguars a week from Sunday with plenty of momentum.

  • Colts' Michael Pittman: Five receptions in Week 5 win

Pittman secured five of eight targets for 59 yards in the Colts' 12-9 overtime win over the Broncos on Thursday night.

Pittman checked in second in receptions, receiving yards and targets to Alec Pierce in the low-scoring win. Pittman, the standout third-year wideout, had a night where his numbers represented somewhat of a resurgence after he'd generated a season-low 3-31 line in Week 4 against the Titans, but fantasy managers will be looking for more of a return to the 8.5 receptions and 96.5 yards Pittman averaged over the first two games when he next takes the field versus the Jaguars at home a week from Sunday.

  • Ashton Dulin WR | IND

Colts' Ashton Dulin: Dealing with foot injury

Dulin is questionable to return to Thursday's game against the Broncos due to a foot injury, Joel A. Erickson of The Indianapolis Star reports.

It's unclear when Dulin suffered the injury, but he managed one reception for 18 yards prior to his exit. If he's unable to return, Mike Strachan could step into a larger role in the Colts' Week 5 receiving corps.

  • Kadarius Toney WR | CLE

Giants' Kadarius Toney: Won't travel to London

Toney (hamstring) will not travel with the team for Sunday's game in London against the Packers and has been ruled out, Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record reports.

Toney was downgraded from a limited practice Wednesday to no activity Thursday, so this news doesn't come as a big surprise. As a result, Toney will have to wait to potentially make his return until a Week 6 matchup against the Ravens. Kenny Golladay (knee) was also ruled out, leaving David Sills, Richie James (ankle), Darius Slayton and potentially Wan'Dale Robinson (knee) to lead the Giants' receiving corps against the Packers.

  • Seahawks' Marquise Goodwin: Logs limited practice Thursday

Goodwin (knee) was limited in Thursday's practice, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports.

Goodwin popped up on the Seahawks' practice report as a limited participant in Thursday's session with a knee injury, so his activity level during Friday's practice should provide further clarification regarding his availability for Sunday's contest against the Saints. Goodwin has operated as Seattle's No. 3 receiver through the team's first four games behind starters Tyler Lockett and DK Metcalf, but Dee Eskridge, Penny Hart and Dareke Young (quadriceps) could see additional opportunities in Week 5 should Goodwin eventually be ruled out this weekend versus New Orleans.
