Jaylen Waddle WR | DEN
Dolphins' Jaylen Waddle: Limited Tuesday
Waddle (groin) was a limited participant at Tuesday's walk-through practice, Daniel Oyefusi of the Miami Herald reports.
The Dolphins estimated Waddle as a non-participant Monday, so he's seemingly trending in the right direction for Thursday's game against the Bengals. According to Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network, head coach Mike McDaniel intimated earlier Tuesday that he expects Waddle to play Thursday, but whether the wideout approaches the contest with or without a designation will likely be determined by what he's able to do in practice Wednesday. Waddle paced the Miami pass catchers Week 3 with 102 yards on four receptions and is sitting on a 19-342-3 receiving line on 30 targets through three games.

Jalen Guyton WR | LV
Chargers' Jalen Guyton: Shifts to injured reserve
The Chargers placed Guyton (knee) on injured reserve Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
Guyton suffered a torn ACL during Sunday's loss to the Jaguars and has been ruled out for the remainder of the season. The speedster was a solid deep threat for the Chargers over the prior two seasons, but he'd only seen 29 snaps and four targets through three games this year as Joshua Palmer and DeAndre Carter had surpassed him on the depth chart, so his absence won't have much of an impact on the team's passing game.

Kaylon Geiger Sr. WR | TB
Kaylon Geiger: Signs with Bucs' practice squad
The Buccaneers signed Geiger to their practice squad Tuesday, Greg Auman of The Athletic reports.
Geiger was let go by Tampa Bay on Monday, but he signed with the team's practice squad Tuesday after he cleared waivers. The 24-year-old receiver played four offensive snaps (six percent) during Sunday's 14-12 loss to the Packers, while he was also active for the team's Week 2 contest against New Orleans. However, Geiger's recent opportunities came at the expense of fellow WRs Mike Evans (suspension), Chris Godwin (hamstring) and Julio Jones (knee) all being held out Week 3. Once the team's receiver corps returns to full health, the 180-pounder will likely have a difficult time competing for snaps.

Michael Gallup WR | WAS
Cowboys' Michael Gallup: Optimism for Week 4 debut
Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy said Tuesday that Gallup (knee) will "get a bunch of work" Wednesday and "is close" to making his season debut, adding he's "hopeful" the wideout will suit up Sunday against the Commanders, Patrik Walker of the team's official site reports.
Gallup logged a few days of practices ahead of the team's Monday night contest against the Giants, but he was ultimately held out. However, barring a setback, it appears like he'll have a good shot at making his season debut in Week 4. Noah Brown has emerged as a solid target for Cooper Rush, who continues to fill in for Dak Prescott (thumb), but when Gallup eventually returns, he'll likely slide into the No. 2 spot behind CeeDee Lamb.

Josh Johnson WR | DET
Josh Johnson: Inks practice-squad deal
The Lions signed Johnson to the practice squad Tuesday.
Johnson dealt with an undisclosed injury during the preseason and was ultimately waived by the Lions with an injury settlement in mid-August. However, the undrafted wideout is presumably healthy now and will likely provide insurance while Detroit waits to see how Amon-Ra St. Brown (ankle) and Josh Reynolds (ankle) handle practice ahead of Week 4.
-
Josh Reynolds WR | NYJ
Lions' Josh Reynolds: Hobbled by ankle in Week 3
Reynolds was tending to a minor ankle injury in the aftermath of Sunday's 28-24 loss to the Vikings, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports.
Reynolds briefly checked out of Sunday's contest on account of the injury, but he was able to return and finished the game with six receptions for 96 yards on 10 targets. Top wideout Amon-Ra St. Brown also picked up an ankle injury, but neither he nor Reynolds are believed to be dealing with anything significant. Even so, the statuses of both receivers for the Lions' Week 4 game against the Seahawks won't be known until the team's training and coaching staffs get a chance to evaluate them during practice. Detroit signed Josh Johnson to its practice squad Tuesday, which will give the team some extra coverage at the position if one of Reynolds or St. Brown can't play Week 4.
-
Kadarius Toney WR | CLE
Giants' Kadarius Toney: Could sit again Week 4
Giants head coach Brian Daboll didn't express much optimism Tuesday that Toney (hamstring) will be available for Sunday's matchup with the Bears, Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News reports.
Daboll noted that both Toney and Wan'Dale Robinson (knee) are showing improvement after they missed Monday's Week 3 loss to the Cowboys, but the quick turnaround may make it difficult for either wideout to gain clearance for game action. Toney likely has a better chance of suiting up in Week 4 than Robinson, as he's thus far sat out only one game to the rookie's two and was listed as doubtful ahead of Monday's game, whereas Robinson was officially ruled out. In any case, the potential absences of the duo would loom even larger than usual for the Giants, as top wideout Sterling Shepard (knee) suffered a season-ending ACL tear to further deplete the team's receiving corps.
-
Wan'Dale Robinson WR | TEN
Giants' Wan'Dale Robinson: May not be ready Week 4
Giants head coach Brian Daboll didn't express much optimism Tuesday that Robinson (knee) will be available for Sunday's matchup with the Bears, Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News reports.
Daboll noted that both Robinson and Kadarius Toney (hamstring) are showing improvement after they missed Monday's Week 3 loss to the Cowboys, but the quick turnaround may make it difficult for either wideout to gain clearance for game action. Robinson may face a tougher battle to suit up in Week 4, as he didn't practice in any capacity this past week, while Toney saw some limited practice participation and was given a doubtful designation ahead of the contest against Dallas. The potential absences of the duo would loom even larger than usual for the Giants, as top wideout Sterling Shepard (knee) suffered a season-ending ACL tear to further deplete the receiving corps.

Dante Pettis WR | BUF
Bears' Dante Pettis: Runs wind sprints in Week 3 win
Pettis went without a target in Sunday's 23-20 win over the Texans.
Since turning his lone target in the Bears' Week 1 win over the 49ers into a 51-yard touchdown reception, Pettis has now gone without a look in the passing game for two straight games. His lack of involvement isn't due to a lack of snaps, as he's handled 56 percent shares in both of the last two weeks as the No. 3 wideout behind Darnell Mooney and Equanimeous St. Brown. Mooney and St. Brown have combined for just eight catches themselves through three games, and until the Bears are willing to loosen the reins on quarterback Justin Fields a bit more, target volume looks like it'll be difficult to come by for any member of the Chicago passing game. Fields hasn't attempted more than 17 throws in any of his three starts on the season.
-
Byron Pringle WR | WAS
Bears' Byron Pringle: Goes to IR with calf injury
Pringle (calf) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday, Larry Mayer of the Bears' official site reports.
After suffering a calf injury in the first half of Sunday's win over the Texans, Pringle will now have to miss the Bears' next four games and won't be eligible to play until Oct. 30 against the Cowboys. The five-year veteran has tallied just two receptions for 33 yards on three targets this season, so his absence won't open up much additional volume in what's already been the NFL's worst passing game through the first three weeks.
