Chase Claypool WR | BUF
Steelers' Chase Claypool: Totals 46 yards in loss
Claypool secured three of six targets for 35 yards and rushed once for 11 yards in the Steelers' 29-17 loss to the Browns on Thursday night.
Claypool tied for third in receptions for the Steelers on the night and also drew the third-most targets. The athletic third-year wideout's yardage tally, modest as it was, was a new season high, and he's now logged six targets apiece in each of the first three games. The 24-year-old is averaging only 7.2 yards per reception, however, a far cry from the 14.0-plus yards per catch he's tallied in his first two seasons. Claypool will aim to build on his overall numbers in a Week 4 home matchup against the Jets a week from Sunday.

Diontae Johnson WR | CLE
Steelers' Diontae Johnson: Paces pass catchers in loss
Johnson secured eight of 11 targets for 84 yards and recovered a fumble in the Steelers' 29-17 loss to the Browns on Thursday night.
Johnson comfortably paced the Steelers across the board in receptions, receiving yards and targets while also setting new season highs in each category. The third-year wideout has encouragingly maintained a hefty workload despite the change at quarterback for the Steelers, as Johnson now has 33 targets through three games. He'll look to build on Thursday's successful statistical effort in a Week 4 home matchup against the Jets a week from Sunday.
-
Amari Cooper WR | LV
Browns' Amari Cooper: Seven catches in Week 3 win
Cooper secured seven of 11 targets for 101 yards and a touchdown in the Browns' 29-17 win over the Steelers on Thursday night.
Cooper paced the Browns in receiving yards and targets for the second straight game while adding an 11-yard first-quarter touchdown. The wideout, who also found the end zone this past weekend against the Jets, has displayed excellent chemistry with Jacoby Brissett after a quiet Week 1, and he could once again have his share of opportunities versus the Falcons in a Week 4 road dome environment a week from Sunday.

Van Jefferson WR | WAS
Rams' Van Jefferson: Another DNP on Thursday
Jefferson (knee) was a non-participant at Thursday's practice, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.
As expected, Jefferson has yet to mix into any drills this week, indicating he's poised to miss a third consecutive contest to kick off the season. Friday's injury report could confirm as much, but assuming Jefferson is sidelined Sunday at Arizona, Ben Skowronek again would be in line for an elevated snap count behind the Rams' top two wide receivers, Cooper Kupp and Allen Robinson.

Rondale Moore WR | MIN
Cardinals' Rondale Moore: Still sidelined at practice
Moore (hamstring) officially didn't practice Thursday, Tyler Drake of ArizonaSports.com reports.
According to Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site, Moore was seen working off to the side in the second session of Week 3 prep, but the second-year wide receiver again went down as a non-participant. Moore hasn't practiced since hurting his hamstring Sept. 8, and he seemingly is in danger of missing a third straight game to begin the campaign. Friday's injury report may provide clarity, one way or another, about his ability to play Sunday versus the Rams.

Tyrie Cleveland WR | IND
Broncos' Tyrie Cleveland: Hits injury report Thursday
Cleveland (hamstring) was a limited participant during the Broncos' practice Thursday, Aric DiLalla of the team's official site reports.
Cleveland appeared on Denver's injury report after fully participating during practice Wednesday, so it's unclear when he sustained the hamstring injury. The 25-year-old caught two of his three targets for 28 yards while playing 27 offensive snaps with wideout KJ Hamler (knee) out in Week 2. Cleveland did not record a reception while playing 83 of his 112 total snaps on special teams last season, though he could see increased usage again if Hamler and Jerry Jeudy (ribs/shoulder) are ultimately unable to suit up for Sunday's game against the 49ers.

Dennis Houston WR | TB
Dennis Houston: Returns to Dallas
Houston signed with the Cowboys' practice squad Thursday.
Houston initially joined Dallas as an undrafted free agent out of Western Illinois and caught two of five passes for 16 yards in Week 1. However, the 23-year-old failed to haul in his lone target while playing 32 percent of the Cowboys' offensive snaps in Week 2 and was waived by the team Tuesday. With No. 2 wideout Michael Gallup (knee) likely set to return Monday, Houston will serve as a potential gameday elevation should Dallas' receiving corps sustain any further injuries this season.
-
Keenan Allen WR | IND
Chargers' Keenan Allen: Logs another limited practice
Allen (hamstring) remained limited at practice Thursday.
Allen missed last Thursday's loss to the Chiefs, but back-to-back limited practices give him a chance to play Sunday against the Jaguars. Unless the wideout progresses to full participation Friday, however, he's likely to approach Week 3 action officially listed as questionable.
-
Tre'Quan Smith WR | DET
Saints' Tre'Quan Smith: Limited Thursday
Smith (shoulder) practiced in a limited capacity Thursday.
As he did last week, Smith has kicked off this week with back-to-back capped sessions. It remains to be seen if he'll get back to full at Friday's practice, but after getting the LP treatment three times during Week 2 prep, it wasn't enough to be active this past Sunday against the Buccaneers. In any case, Friday's injury report may give a sense of Smith's chances to suit up Sunday in Carolina.
-
Scott Miller WR | CHI
Buccaneers' Scotty Miller: Back to full practice
Miller (calf) practiced fully Thursday.
The Buccaneers' receiving corps seems poised to be depleted again Sunday versus the Packers, as Mike Evans will sit out due to a one-game suspension, Chris Godwin (hamstring) and Julio Jones (knee) have yet to practice this week, and Russell Gage (hamstring) and Breshad Perriman (knee) were limited again Thursday. Miller didn't take advantage of his eight targets Week 2 at New Orleans, turning them into three catches for 34 yards while taking one carry for eight yards. Still, he could earn a decent enough snap share to make an impact in the box score this weekend.
