  • Cardinals' Andy Isabella: Dealing with back issue

Isabella is dealing with a back injury ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Raiders, Howard Balzer of SI.com reports.

Isabella caught one of three targets for 10 yards during Sunday's loss to the Chiefs and apparently picked up a back injury as well. His status for Week 2 remains unclear, but Wednesday's official injury report should provide further clarity on his availability for Sunday's matchup against Las Vegas.

  • Allen Lazard WR | NYJ

Packers' Allen Lazard: Returning to practice Wednesday

Head coach Matt LaFleur said Lazard (ankle) will return to practice Wednesday, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.

Lazard sat out last Sunday's loss to Minnesota due to an ankle injury that he sustained when he got stepped on in practice between the final week of the preseason and the week leading up to the season opener. His absence was felt in the Week 1 loss, but getting back on the field Wednesday puts him on a path to suiting up this Sunday versus the Bears. Lazard's activity level will become known later Wednesday.

  • Broncos' Montrell Washington: Operates as returner in debut

Washington failed to play a single offensive snap in the Monday's 17-16 loss to the Seahawks.

After and impressive training camp, Washington secured his role as the Broncos' returner on both kickoffs and punts. He returned three kickoffs for 51 yards, adding one punt return for three yards. The rookie wideout did not see any action with the offense as Denver's No. 4 receiver. One should assume this will likely be the case moving forward barring injuries to fellow wideouts Courtland Sutton, Jerry Jeudy and KJ Hamler. Washington should remain off the fantasy radar as the Broncos host the Texans in Week 2.

  • Tee Higgins WR | CIN

Bengals' Tee Higgins: Will be limited Wednesday

Head coach Zac Taylor said Higgins is making good progress through the NFL's concussion protocol, but the wideout will be a limited participant at practice Wednesday, Ben Baby of ESPN.com reports.

Higgins will have two more opportunities to upgrade to full participation ahead of Sunday's game against the Cowboys, and it appears as though he's trending in the right direction on that front. Prior to his exit from the Bengals' Week 1 loss to the Steelers, Higgins logged 26 snaps while catching both of his targets for 27 yards.

  • Browns' Michael Woods: Missing practice with illness

Woods (illness) didn't practice Wednesday, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.

Woods is apparently still too sick to participate after missing Week 1 at Carolina with the same ailment. Cleveland will hope he can get well in time to provide some depth at receiver when the Browns host the Jets in Week 2.

  • Alec Pierce WR | IND

Colts' Alec Pierce: In concussion protocol

Pierce entered the NFL's concussion protocol Wednesday, Zak Keefer of The Athletic reports.

Per Keefer, the rookie second-round pick absorbed a hit to the head on a play down the middle in Sunday's season-opening tie with the Texans. As a result, Pierce, who didn't practice Wednesday, will need to progress through concussion protocol in order to be cleared for this weekend's contest against the Jaguars. If he's out Week 2, Ashton Dulin and Mike Strachan would be candidates to see added snaps behind Michael Pittman and Parris Campbell.

  • Giants' Wan'Dale Robinson: Not practicing Wednesday

Coach Brian Daboll said that Robinson (knee) won't practice Wednesday, Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News reports.

Robinson was forced out of the Giants' Week 1 win over the Titans due to a right knee injury, and he's currently considered day-to-day but has made progress since Sunday. The rookie second-round pick will have two more opportunities to upgrade to at least limited activity before the Giants take on the Panthers in Week 2.

  • Michael Gallup WR | WAS

Cowboys' Michael Gallup: Nearing return to team drills

Head coach Mike McCarthy said Wednesday that Gallup (knee) "might do some group stuff" in practice this week, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Gallup was limited to individual work days before sitting out Week 1, so it will be notable if he's able to handle some team reps this week. The Cowboys' passing game is in dire need of a boost, especially with Dak Prescott (thumb) sidelined at least a few weeks, but the team may still continue with a cautious approach to Gallup's recovery. McCarthy hasn't yet revealed whether Gallup has a chance to suit up Sunday against the Bengals.

  • James Proche WR | TEN

Ravens' James Proche: Plays five snaps in Week 1

Proche wasn't targeted across five snaps on offense during Sunday's 24-9 victory against the Jets.

Based on their Week 1 usage, Proche and Tylan Wallace (five snaps) look to be locked in a battle for the No. 4 spot at receiver behind Rashod Bateman, Devin Duvernay and Demarcus Robinson. In addition to failing to draw a target, Proche was called for a holding penalty on a 12-yard run by Kenyan Drake, which doesn't help Proche's case for playing time.

  • Dolphins' Trent Sherfield: Plays 20 snaps in team debut

Sherfield caught one of two targets for eight yards during Sunday's 20-7 win over the Patriots.

Sherfield was on the field for 20 offensive snaps during his Dolphins debut, putting him firmly as the No. 4 wideout behind Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle and Cedrick Wilson. With Hill and Waddle commanding the majority of the attention, it's unlikely Sherfield will have much fantasy value moving forward.
