Treylon Burks WR | WAS
Titans' Treylon Burks: Misses practice Thursday
Burks (undisclosed) didn't practice Thursday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Per Wyatt, Burks left Wednesday's practice with an unspecified issue, so until further details are available, consider the rookie wideout day-to-day ahead of Saturday's preseason finale against the Cardinals. The 2022 first-rounder has a chance to play a key role in a Tennessee wide receiver corps that also includes Robert Woods (knee), Nick Westbrook-Ikhine and Kyle Philips, but in order for that to translate to fantasy utility, Burks will need to consistently avoid the sort of health issues that have impacted his practice attendance thus far.

Russell Gage WR | SF
Buccaneers' Russell Gage: Still not practicing
Gage (leg) is not participating in Thursday's practice, Jenna Laine of ESPN.com reports.
Gage hasn't handled any on-field drills since suffering a left leg injury during a joint practice with the Dolphins on Aug. 10. The 26-year-old is trending in the wrong direction for Saturday's preseason finale against the Colts, but he still has over two weeks to get ready for the regular-season opener in Dallas on Sept. 11.

Breshad Perriman WR | IND
Buccaneers' Breshad Perriman: Roster spot in jeopardy
Perriman (leg) remains in the mix for a roster spot, but he's missed valuable time in recent weeks due to his injury and could also be hurt by the fact he doesn't usually play special teams, Joey Knight of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
The veteran wideout has had his moments over two separate stints with the Buccaneers during the 2019 and 2021 seasons, producing a 47-812-7 receiving line across 20 regular-season games during that span. However, with the undrafted trio of Deven Thompkins, Jerreth Sterns and Kaylon Geiger all enjoying varying levels of success this summer -- and fellow incumbents such as Scotty Miller and Cyril Grayson also in the mix -- Perriman's chances of sticking around in Tampa Bay may largely hinge on what unfolds in Saturday's preseason finale against the Colts. The speedster should have an opportunity to make his case in that game, as Perriman was able to practice for a second straight day Wednesday and appears to be trending toward suiting up, per Knight.

Slade Bolden WR | ATL
Ravens' Slade Bolden: Reverts to IR
Bolden (undisclosed) has shifted to the Ravens' injured reserve, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
Bolden, an undrafted free agent, has been sidelined with an undisclosed injury since Aug. 9. The team ultimately opted to waive him earlier in the week, but he went unclaimed. Now the rookie will have to miss the rest of the season unless he and Baltimore can come to terms on an injury settlement.
-
Gary Jennings WR | LAC
Gary Jennings: Waived from IR
Jennings (concussion) was waived from the Chiefs' injured reserve Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
Jennings has been recovering from a concussion since Aug. 6. He recently went unclaimed off waivers and reverted to the team's IR. Now that both parties have reached an injury settlement, he will be free to look for a new landing spot once his health allows it.

Michael Gallup WR | WAS
Cowboys' Michael Gallup: Should avoid reserve/PUP list
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said Wednesday that the team plans to have Gallup (knee) on the 53-man roster Week 1 instead of stashing him on the reserve/PUP list to begin the regular season, Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports.
Gallup, who is working back from surgery to repair a torn ACL, is currently on the active/PUP list, but it looks like he'll avoid placement on the reserve version of the list, which would force him to miss at least four games. At this stage, Gallup isn't expected to play Week 1, but the Cowboys are leaving open the possibility that the wideout could return to action not too long after the Sept. 11 opener versus the Buccaneers.

Collin Johnson WR | LV
Giants' Collin Johnson: Goes on IR
The Giants placed Johnson (Achilles) on injured reserve Wednesday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.
After the Giants claimed Johnson off waivers last September, he proceeded to make 12 appearances as a part of an injury-riddled receiving corps, hauling in 11 of 21 passes for 105 yards and no touchdowns on 209 offensive snaps. According to Connor Hughes of SNY.tv, Johnson has been impressive in training camp, which was apparent through two preseason games, where he produced a combined 10-123-0 receiving line on 13 targets. But after Johnson was carted off the practice field Wednesday, he was diagnosed with a torn Achilles, almost certainly ending his 2022 campaign. He'll likely undergo surgery within the next few days.
-
Marcus Kemp WR | WAS
Giants' Marcus Kemp: Placed on IR
The Giants placed Kemp on injured reserve Wednesday with a hamstring injury, Dan Benton of the team's official site reports.
The extent of the injury remains unclear, but barring an injury settlement, Kemp's season is now over. The 27-year-old wideout has played in 43 games for the Chiefs and one for the Dolphins since entering the league in 2017, seeing most of his action on special teams while recording just four catches for 42 yards.
-
Jaylon Moore WR | JAC
Giants' Jaylon Moore: Heading to Big Apple
The Giants claimed Moore off waivers from the Ravens on Wednesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
The transaction occurred on the same day the team revealed receiver Collin Johnson suffered a torn Achilles, likely ending his 2022 season. Moore, who was signed as an undrafted free agent by Baltimore in 2020, was waived Tuesday after spending the last two seasons on the team's practice squad. It's unclear if the 25-year-old will suit up for the Giants' preseason finale Sunday against the Jets given the short notice, but he'll compete for a roster spot with fellow receivers C.J. Board (ribs), Alex Bachman, David Sills and Marcus Kemp, among others.

Collin Johnson WR | LV
Giants' Collin Johnson: Diagnosed with torn Achilles
The Giants announced that Johnson suffered a torn Achilles' tendon during Wednesday's practice.
Per Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com, Johnson was vying for a possible key role at wideout after a strong training camp, which included catching 10 passes for 123 yards across two preseason games. However, the 2020 fifth-round pick's season is now likely over before it started, and he could be in danger of missing the start of the 2023 campaign as well.
