  • Samori Toure WR | PHI

Packers' Samori Toure: Goes to Green and Gold

The Packers selected Toure in the seventh round of the 2022 NFL Draft, 258th overall.

This is an interesting late-round dart from Green Bay as it looks to fill out its receiver room. Toure played one year at Nebraska after starring at Montana earlier in his career. He led the Cornhuskers in receiving with 898 yards and added five touchdowns. Toure has workable athleticism at 6-foot, 191 pounds with 4.44 speed as recorded at Nebraska's Pro Day. He's not a lock to make the roster, but he should not be counted out given his success at every level that he's played.

  • Dareke Young WR | LV

Seahawks' Dareke Young: Big-bodied WR nabbed by Seattle

The Seahawks selected Young in the seventh round of the 2022 NFL Draft, 233rd overall.

Young checked in at an imposing 6-foot-3, 220 pounds in addition to plus athleticism with a 4.47 40-yard dash and a 37-inch vertical. He carried the ball more than he was targeted in his first few seasons at Division II Lenoir-Rhyne, but he transitioned to being a full-time receiver over his final two seasons, as he recorded 39 receptions for 521 yards and six touchdowns over just seven games. Young will need some time to develop after playing Division II football, but his unique tools could be enough to secure one of Seattle's final roster spots in the fall.

  • Bo Melton WR | GB

Seahawks' Bo Melton: Heads west to Seattle

The Seahawks selected Melton in the seventh round of the 2022 NFL Draft, 229th overall.

A five-year receiver at Rutgers, Melton's stat lines are unconvincing at face value. However, he was the motor of an otherwise putrid Scarlet Knights offense. He stacked up 1,250 receiving yards over his final two seasons while Rutgers' offense finished with just 4,027 passing yards in that span. Melton answered the call at the NFL Combine, too, recording a 4.34 40-yard dash and a 38-inch vertical at 5-foot-11, 189 pounds. Still, his best path to the field will be through special teams, as DK Metcalf (foot) and Tyler Lockett are the clear alpha wideouts in what is shaping up to be a run-heavy offense.

  • Jalen Nailor WR | LV

Vikings' Jalen Nailor: Going to Minnesota

The Vikings selected Nailor in the sixth round of the 2022 NFL Draft, 191st overall.

Nailor (5-foot-11, 186 pounds) is an NFL long shot as a sixth-round pick, but he has some definite abilities and should stick around the NFL for a while. His main issue is that he's skinny and fragile, which limits the utility of his otherwise solid athleticism (4.5-second 40, 38-inch vertical, 128-inch broad jump), but Nailor was a good player on a Michigan State offense with at least one other NFL wide receiver (Jayden Reed). Nailor will likely compete with the likes of Ihmir Smith-Marsette to push K.J. Osborn at the WR3 spot.

  • Kyle Philips WR | LV

Titans' Kyle Philips: Tennessee picks up in fifth round

The Titans selected Philips in the fifth round of the 2022 NFL Draft, 163rd overall.

Philips is only a slot receiver and isn't exactly a memorable prospect in that one capacity either, but he was certainly a good collegiate receiver at UCLA and probably has something to offer an NFL offense. At 5-foot-11 and 189 pounds, Philips quietly showed good burst at the combine, logging a 1.55-second 10-yard dash and 124-inch broad jump, and he might have an angle to be the Titans' lead slot specialist right away.

  • Broncos' Montrell Washington: Mile High bound

The Broncos selected Washington in the fifth round of the 2022 NFL Draft, 162nd overall.

This is a surprise pick as Washington did not get a combine invite after playing at Samford out of the FCS, while there were several other higher rated players at his position available. Washington checks in at 5-foot-9 and 181 pounds with 4.45 speed. He caught 60 passes for 813 yards and nine touchdowns in his final season at Samford and will have an uphill battle getting on the field in Denver.

  • Khalil Shakir WR | BUF

Bills' Khalil Shakir: Goes to Buffalo after trade up

The Bills selected Shakir in the fifth round of the 2022 NFL Draft, 148th overall.

Wide receiver was arguably one of the Bills' biggest needs entering Day 3 of the 2022 NFL Draft, so Shakir lands in an excellent spot. A four-start recruit out of high school, the Boise State product didn't exactly live up to the hype, but 77 catches, 1,117 receiving yards and seven touchdowns during his senior season cemented Shakir as an intriguing prospect. A fluid and smooth route runner, the 22-year-old can really fill any role in a receiving corps and should be able to threaten defenses at the NFL level with his 4.43 40-yard speed.

  • Romeo Doubs WR | NE

Packers' Romeo Doubs: Second WR for Green Bay

The Packers selected Doubs in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft, 132nd overall.

Doubs did not participate at the NFL Combine or put together a pro day with his team due to a knee injury, but the Nevada product was a four-year starter and two-time first-team All-MWC wideout, including a senior season that saw him post 80 receptions, 1,109 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns. There's plenty of questions regarding Doubs' speed, but during an individual workout prior to the draft, Doubs allegedly ran close to a sub 4.5 40-yard dash, which should alleviate those concerns. Given the wide assortment of slot receivers on the Packers' depth chart, it seems likely Doubs would need to play on the outside in order to make an impact in his rookie season, but he's not known for his run blocking, which could hamper his opportunities early on.

  • Lions' Jameson Williams: Targeting training camp return

Williams (knee) is hoping to participate in training camp, Kyle Meinke of MLive.com reports.

Williams tore his ACL on Jan. 10 and will be over seven months removed from surgery by the time training camp commences this summer. Despite modern advancements in medical treatments, expecting him to be ready for the start of training camp seems optimistic, and it's not certain that he will even be able to work himself into individual drills before the preseason begins. In the end, fantasy managers will likely need to be patient with Williams as a rookie, with Meinke noting that the receiver most likely won't be ready for game action until October.

  • Erik Ezukanma WR | PHI

Dolphins' Erik Ezukanma: Lands in South Beach

The Dolphins selected Ezukanma in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft, 125th overall.

Ezukanma red-shirted his freshman season at Texas Tech before leading the team in receiving yards in each of his final three seasons with the Red Raiders. The 22-year-old finished with 136 catches for 2,117 yards and 14 touchdowns in that stretch, and he also added 10 carries for 138 yards and two scores in his senior season. He didn't run the 40-yard dash, and we don't expect him to have better than average speed, but his production is impressive. His 6-foot-2, 209-pound frame, long arms and 37-inch vertical provides some utility for the next level, too. He'll have to wait for an opportunity behind Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle and Cedrick Wilson.
