  • A.J. Brown WR | NE

Titans' A.J. Brown: Big performance in loss

Brown recorded five receptions on nine targets for 142 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 19-16 divisional-round loss to the Bengals.

Brown matched his counterpart Ja'Marr Chase with several explosive plays, highlighted by a one-handed 33-yard touchdown reception late in the third quarter. Prior to that, he also logged catches of 41 and 40 yards to account for the majority of his production. Though the campaign ends in disappointing fashion for the top-seeded team in the AFC, Brown recorded either a touchdown or topped 100 receiving yards in three of his last four games. His overall numbers fell in his third professional season -- in large part due to him missing four games with hamstring and core injuries -- but he appears to be heading into the offseason healthy and will return to being the top receiver in Tennessee in 2022.

  • Chiefs' Daurice Fountain: Elevated for divisional round

The Chiefs elevated Fountain on Saturday ahead of the team's divisional-round matchup against the Bills, Aaron Wilson of Sportstalk 790 Houston reports.

Fountain has been elevated for three games so far this season and appeared on three offensive snaps in last week's wild-card win over the Steelers. He has also played on exactly 18 special-teams snaps in all three games that he's been elevated for this season.

  • Ja'Marr Chase WR | CIN

Bengals' Ja'Marr Chase: Explosive in victory

Chase recorded five receptions on six targets for 109 yards in Saturday's 19-16 divisional-round win over the Titans.

The Titans were focused on slowing Chase, and that showed in his relatively limited target volume. However, he made the most of each of his opportunities to post another big stat line. His performance began with a 57-yard gain midway through the first quarter on a catch at the line of scrimmage that he quickly turned upfield while evading several defenders. Chase also set up the game-winning field goal with a 19-yard reception with only 20 seconds remaining in the game. He'll head into the AFC Championship Game having topped 100 receiving yards in each of his last four full contests.

  • Packers' Marquez Valdes-Scantling: Inactive versus 49ers

Valdes-Scantling (back) is listed as inactive for Saturday's wild-card game against the 49ers, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.

Valdes-Scantling came down with a back injury Week 18 at Detroit, and while he logged a limited practice when the Packers reconvened Tuesday, he proceeded to miss back-to-back sessions to close out this week. On Thursday, coach Matt LaFleur termed Valdes-Scantling doubtful to play in the team's postseason opener, and he'll sit this one out. In a fortunate turn of events, Randall Cobb completed his recovery from core muscle surgery and was activated from injured reserve Thursday, so he'll join Davante Adams and Allen Lazard in three-wide sets Saturday.

  • Stanley Morgan WR | TEN

Bengals' Stanley Morgan: Ruled out for divisional round

Morgan (hamstring) is inactive for Sunday's divisional-round matchup against the Titans, Marisa Contipelli of the Bengals' official site reports.

Morgan was limited in practice all week ahead of Saturday's matchup, and he'll be forced to miss a second straight game with a hamstring injury. Mike Thomas and Trent Taylor could see a slight uptick in playing time against Tennessee.

  • Trent Taylor WR | SF

Bengals' Trent Taylor: Elevated for Saturday

Taylor was elevated to the Bengals' active roster from the practice squad for Saturday's playoff game against the Titans, Ben Baby of ESPN.com reports.

Taylor is set to be active for the sixth straight game Saturday, and he's primarily served as a punt returner for Cincinnati. He also caught two passes for 41 yards in the lone contest during which he had a role in the passing game.

  • Brandon Powell WR | MIN

Rams' Brandon Powell: Cleared of injury designation

Powell (ribs) doesn't carry an injury designation heading into Sunday's divisional-round matchup against Tampa Bay, Greg Auman of The Athletic reports.

Powell was limited during the first two practices of the week but was able to fully participate Friday. He's expected to operate as the Rams' primary return man Sunday. In six games with Los Angeles, he's totaled 208 kick-return yards and 133 punt-return yards, including a 61-yard punt return for a touchdown against the Vikings in Week 16.

  • Ben Skowronek WR | PIT

Rams' Ben Skowronek: Cleared for Sunday

Skowronek (back) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game in Tampa Bay, Greg Auman of The Athletic reports.

He closed out the week with a full practice, following limited sessions Wednesday and Thursday. While Skowronek played only seven snaps in the wild-card round against Arizona, his role as the No. 4 receiver puts him one injury away from steady playing time.

  • Buccaneers' Breshad Perriman: Won't play Sunday

Perriman (hip/abdomen) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Rams, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Perriman missed practice throughout the week, with coach Bruce Arians revealing that the wideout has a torn muscle near his abdomen. The Bucs hope to get Cyril Grayson (hamstring) back in the lineup alongside Mike Evans and Tyler Johnson, but with Grayson listed as questionable after missing the past couple weeks, it's possible Scotty Miller is tabbed as the No. 3 receiver this Sunday. Either way, Perriman won't be part of the equation.

  • Buccaneers' Breshad Perriman: Remains sidelined Friday

Perriman (hip/abdomen) didn't practice Friday, Greg Auman of The Athletic reports.

Per Auman, coach Bruce Arians noted Friday that Perriman has "a torn muscle in his side" and with that in mind it doesn't seem likely the wideout will be available Sunday against the Rams. With Cyril Grayson (hamstring) also iffy for the Buccaneers' divisional-round contest, John Brown is a candidate to be elevated from the team's practice squad to provide added depth behind Mike Evans and Tyler Johnson.
