  • Packers' Marquez Valdes-Scantling: Limited in return to practice

Valdes-Scantling (back) was limited at Tuesday's practice.

Valdes-Scantling was removed from a Week 18 loss to the Lions in the second quarter and eventually diagnosed with a back injury. He wasn't a part of the Packers' unofficial session last Wednesday, but with a week to rest up he's back on the field, albeit with a cap on his reps. Valdes-Scantling will have two more chances to get back to full participation before the team potentially gives him an injury designation ahead of Saturday's divisional-round game against the 49ers.

  • Deon Cain WR | BUF

Eagles' Deon Cain: Staying with Philly

Cain signed a reserve/future contract with the Eagles on Tuesday.

Cain joined the Eagles' practice squad in mid-October after spending training camp with the Ravens and going down with an injury. He appeared in 15 games between 2019 and 2020 with the Colts and Steelers, and caught nine passes for 124 yards.

  • Justin Watson WR | HOU

Justin Watson: Back to Buccaneers' practice squad

Watson was signed to the Buccaneers' practice squad Tuesday, Scott Smith of the team's official website reports.

The wide receiver was waived by the team Saturday but he was quickly returned to the practice squad just a few days later. Watson has only appeared in one game this season, operating as a special-teams option.

  • Cardinals' DeAndre Hopkins: Will complete recovery in February

Hopkins (knee) is expected to be 100 percent within the next month, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.

For the first time in his nine-year career, Hopkins missed significant time due to injury in 2021. First, he sat out Weeks 9-11 due to a hamstring strain, and after suiting up in Weeks 13 and 14, Hopkins suffered what was eventually revealed to be a sprained MCL that required surgery and a likely 2-4 month recovery. There was talk that he might be healthy enough to return if the Cardinals reached the NFC Championship Game, but the team was unceremoniously bounced from the playoffs by the Rams in the wild-card round. With no possibility of playing again during the current campaign, the 29-year-old will focus on rehabbing his knee and shouldn't have a problem being available for the offseason program. The composition of the receiving corps around Hopkins may be much different at that time due to the pending unrestricted free agencies of A.J. Green, Christian Kirk, Zach Ertz and Maxx Williams (knee).

  • Stanley Morgan WR | TEN

Bengals' Stanley Morgan: Limited at practice Tuesday

Morgan (hamstring) was limited during Tuesday's practice, Marisa Contipelli of the Bengals' official site reports.

Morgan was limited during the final two practices ahead of the wild-card matchup with the Raiders and was ultimately inactive. He'll likely have to submit at least one full practice this week if he wants to suit up for Saturday's contest against the Titans.

  • Packers' Marquez Valdes-Scantling: Practicing Tuesday

Valdes-Scantling (back) took part in practice Tuesday, Ryan Wood of the Green Bay Press-Gazette reports.

The bye week appears to have treated the Packers well, as a number of key players on both the active roster and injured reserve mixed into drills at the media-access portion of Tuesday's session. Valdes-Scantling himself is dealing with a back issue that he suffered in the regular-season finale and kept him off the practice field last week. Wednesday's injury report will reveal his activity level.

  • K.J. Osborn WR | TEN

Vikings' K.J. Osborn: Four targets in Week 18

Osborn caught one of four targets for 21 yards and one score during Week 18's 31-17 win over the Bears.

Osborn finished the 2021 campaign with 50 receptions for 655 yards and seven touchdowns. He started the season off hot with 12 receptions for 167 yards through the first two weeks, but he took a backseat as Justin Jefferson and Adam Thielen demanded the majority of Kirk Cousins' attention. However, after Thielen went down with a high-ankle sprain in Week 13, Osborn once again stepped up his game. Over the last six contests of the year, Osborn totaled 19 catches for 290 yards and five touchdowns -- including one in each of the Vikings' last three games.

  • Rondale Moore WR | MIN

Cardinals' Rondale Moore: Handful of grabs

Moore caught five of seven targets for 32 yards in Monday night's 34-11 wild-card round loss to the Rams.

Moore, making his first appearance since suffering an ankle injury Week 15, trailed only Christian Kirk in all major receiving categories for the Cardinals. Although his rookie campaign now is over, Moore finished the regular season with 54 catches on 64 targets for 435 yards and a touchdown in 14 games. He also rushed 18 times for 76 yards. Given his skill set, Arizona will aim to incorporate Moore more often next season, while it's unclear whether free agents Christian Kirk and A.J. Green will return to the team's receiving corps. While his speed occasionally flashed, Moore will need to develop into more of a downfield threat to improve his value, but his 7.2 yards per offensive touch was productive. The second-rounder also may continue to be involved on special teams, where he returned 21 punts for 171 yards and 13 kickoffs for 291 yards this season.

  • Cardinals' Christian Kirk: Leads team in catches

Kirk caught six of 10 targets for 51 yards in Monday night's 34-11 wild-card round loss to the Rams.

Kirk led the Cardinals in all major receiving categories, going for a team-long gain of 23 yards as well. Despite Arizona ending its season on a sour note, Kirk overall enjoyed his best campaign as a pro. The wideout caught 77 of 103 targets for 982 yards and five touchdowns while not missing any games for the first time in his four-year career. On the back of that production, the 25-year-old is slated to enter free agency this offseason with his value on the rise, making it uncertain whether the Cardinals will be able to bring him back or not.

  • Rams' Odell Beckham: Good start to playoffs

Beckham caught all four of his targets for 54 yards and a touchdown in Monday night's 34-11 wild-card round win over the Cardinals. He also completed a 40-yard pass.

Beckham saw action early on, starting Los Angeles' second series with a 17-yard catch before hauling in a four-yard jump ball in the back corner of the end zone to cap the drive. After setting up a touchdown with a 31-yard gain his next time out, Beckham began the second half by catching a lateral and slinging the ball across the field to Cam Akers for a big gain. With his array of skills on display, Beckham enjoyed Monday's lopsided victory and will strive to remain a key contributor in this weekend's NFC divisional-round matchup versus the Buccaneers.
