  • Deebo Samuel WR | SF

49ers' Deebo Samuel: Sees 10 touches in dual role

Samuel had three receptions on six targets for 63 yards and a touchdown Sunday, adding 19 more yards on seven carries in a 23-7 win over Houston.

Samuel was used almost exclusively as a running back in the first half, but Houston's defense was prepared every time he lined up in the backfield. The dual-threat playmaker was able to finally break free for a 45-yard touchdown on a missile from Trey Lance in the fourth quarter. The rookie quarterback missed on another potential long score when he didn't see that Samuel beat his defender down the field, so we got to see the highs and lows of having a raw talent like Lance under center. Jimmy Garoppolo's (thumb) status for next week's tilt against the Rams is currently unknown, but the star wideout has proven that he can produce with either signal caller this season. Potentially matching up against shutdown corner Jalen Ramsey may not be as big of a problem for Samuel as it would be for other teams' top wideouts, as he can line up all over the field and is routinely put in motion in Kyle Shanahan's offensive scheme.

  • Hunter Renfrow WR | CAR

Raiders' Hunter Renfrow: Returns to form

Renfrow recorded seven receptions on nine targets for 76 yards and one touchdown in Sunday's 23-20 win over the Colts.

Renfrow had seen a significant decline in volume across his last two games, combining to record only eight targets. However, he bounced back in Sunday's win -- though he was still out-targeted by Zay Jones -- posting his seventh performance with at least seven receptions on the campaign. The highlight came on an 11-yard touchdown reception early in the fourth quarter, though it also appeared that he had a 48-yard touchdown later in the game that was ultimately overturned on review. Renfrow also surpassed 1,000 receiving yards for the season with the effort, and he should maintain a key role as the Raiders look to sneak into the playoffs with a Week 18 win over the Chargers.

  • Cole Beasley WR | NYG

Bills' Cole Beasley: Two catches in return

Beasley secured two of six targets for 22 yards in the Bills' 29-15 win over the Falcons on Sunday.

The veteran possession man made his return after a one-game stay on the reserve/COVID-19 list, but even with Emmanuel Sanders (knee) out of action, he couldn't make much of an impact. In fairness, Josh Allen was extremely inaccurate and threw for just 120 yards overall, so Beasley could see a boost in his numbers versus the vulnerable Jets secondary in Week 18.

  • DJ Moore WR | BUF

Panthers' DJ Moore: Quiet against Saints

Moore caught three of eight targets for 29 yards in Sunday's 18-10 loss to the Saints.

Moore led the Panthers in targets but couldn't get much going against a tough Saints defense. Most his yardage came on a 20-yard catch during the second half, but Moore followed that contribution with a drop shortly thereafter. Having racked up at least seven targets in every game this season, Moore figures to remain a focal point in Week 18's finale versus the Buccaneers. Although that matchup surely doesn't favor the Panthers, game flow might help Moore improve on Sunday's lackluster output.

  • Gabe Davis WR | BUF

Bills' Gabriel Davis: Three catches with Sanders out

Davis brought in all three targets for 40 yards in the Bills' 29-15 win over the Falcons on Sunday.

Davis saw an elevated role with Emmanuel Sanders (knee) out but couldn't parlay it into appreciable production. The speedster's reception total and receiving yardage were each second on the team to those of Stefon Diggs, but they were unlikely to put fantasy managers over the top in their championship games. Davis will have one more opportunity to tune up for the postseason in a Week 18 finale against the vulnerable Jets secondary.

  • Russell Gage WR | SF

Falcons' Russell Gage: Posts 50-yard effort in loss

Gage brought in three of five targets for 50 yards in the Falcons' 29-15 loss to the Bills on Sunday.

Gage co-led the Falcons in receptions on a very modest day for Atlanta's passing attack while checking in second in receiving yardage to Kyle Pitts. The veteran wideout now has at least 50 receiving yards in five of the last six games going into the Week 18 finale versus the Saints.

  • DeVante Parker WR | PHI

Dolphins' DeVante Parker: Sees big target boost in loss

Parker brought in four of 13 targets for 46 yards in the Dolphins' 34-3 loss to the Titans on Sunday.

Parker easily paced the Dolphins in targets while co-leading the team in catches alongside Mike Gesicki. The veteran had gone without so much as a single target across 41 snaps back in Week 16 against the Saints, so despite the inefficiency Sunday, it was still a marked improvement from just six days prior. Parker faces a tough Patriots defense to close out the regular season in Week 18.

  • A.J. Brown WR | NE

Titans' A.J. Brown: Quiet against Dolphins

Brown recorded two receptions for 41 yards on five targets in Sunday's 34-3 win over the Dolphins.

Brown's primary problem was a lack of volume, as the Titans jumped out to an early lead, leaving Ryan Tannehill to attempt only 18 passes. However, Brown converted less than half of his targets into catches, and he was held to 50 or fewer yards for the seventh time in 12 games on the campaign. Brown and the Titans could be in for a similar game script in Week 18 with a matchup against the Texans.

  • Jaylen Waddle WR | DEN

Dolphins' Jaylen Waddle: Limited to three catches

Waddle brought in three of seven targets for 47 yards in the Dolphins' 34-3 loss to the Titans on Sunday. He also returned one punt for 15 yards.

Waddle's recent run of high-volume efforts came to a halt Sunday against a feisty Titans secondary, leading to his lowest yardage total since Week 8. The rookie also saw a three-game streak of double-digit targets go by the wayside, as DeVante Parker led the way with 13 looks overall. Despite the downturn Sunday, Waddle will have a chance to hit the 100-catch mark with just one reception in Week 18 against the Patriots.

  • Colts' Michael Pittman: Records six catches

Pittman recorded six catches on six targets for 47 yards in Sunday's 23-20 loss to the Raiders.

Pittman was efficient with his opportunities and recorded 7.8 yards per target. However, Carson Wentz took to the air only 27 times, which in turn led to Pittman seeing six targets or fewer for the fifth time in his last eight games. As a result, he's managed to top 70 receiving yards only three times while finding the end zone once in that span. Despite some of those negatives, Pittman topped 1,000 yards for the season with his performance, and he has also doubled his target total from his rookie campaign with one game remaining.
