Ben Skowronek WR | PIT
Rams' Ben Skowronek: Limited Wednesday
Skowronek (back) was listed as limited on Wednesday's practice estimate, Lindsey Thiry of ESPN reports.
Skowronek is still dealing with the back injury that kept him out of last week's loss to Green Bay. His participation, or lack there of, in practice Thursday and Friday should dictate whether the kick returner will suit up Sunday against the Jaguars.
-
DK Metcalf WR | PIT
Seahawks' DK Metcalf: Limited again by foot injury
Metcalf (foot) was listed as a limited participant on Wednesday's estimated injury report, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
Metcalf has been tending to a foot injury for the better part of two months, but he hasn't missed any games as a result. In fact, he hasn't logged below a 71 percent snap share in any contest and is coming off back-to-back games with at least a 92 percent share. Even so, his production has waned in three outings with Russell Wilson back in the lineup, as Metcalf has gathered in just eight of 20 targets for 70 yards and no touchdowns. Assuming Metcalf suits up this weekend, he'll be taking on the 49ers' sixth-ranked pass defense (207.3 yards per game).
-
Marquise Goodwin WR | CLE
Bears' Marquise Goodwin: Sits out first Week 13 practice
Goodwin didn't practice Wednesday due to injuries to his ribs and foot.
Goodwin's early exit in the Bears' Thanksgiving Day victory over Detroit was initially attributed only to the foot injury, but he appears to be nursing an additional health concern as well. Even with a longer turnaround between games, Goodwin wasn't able to make enough progress to get on the field for the Bears' first official Week 13 practice. He'll have two more opportunities to raise his participation level before Sunday's game against the Cardinals.
-
Chris Conley WR | SF
Texans' Chris Conley: Doesn't practice Wednesday
Conley (illness) was listed as a non-participant on Wednesday's practice estimate.
The Texans didn't hold a formal practice, but Conley wouldn't have participated had the team done so. The veteran wide receiver has been receiving ample playing time, but it hasn't translated to much production up to this point. Along with Conley, fellow pass-catchers Brandin Cooks (illness) and Danny Amendola (knee) were also non-participants.
-
Miles Boykin WR | CHI
Ravens' Miles Boykin: Practices in limited fashion
Boykin (finger) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice.
Boykin has missed the past two games, but he's making progress in his recovery, as the depth wideout was unable to practice at all last week. Further updates on Boykin's status should surface throughout the week as the Ravens prepare for Sunday's road tilt in Pittsburgh.
-
Deebo Samuel WR | SF
49ers' Deebo Samuel: No practice Wednesday
Samuel (groin) didn't practice Wednesday, Eric Branch of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Given that he's expected to miss 1-to-2 games due to a groin strain, Samuel likely won't practice in any fashion this week before the 49ers rule him out for Sunday's contest at Seattle. In his absence, the 49ers will rely on Brandon Aiyuk, Jauan Jennings, Trent Sherfield and Travis Benjamin at wide receiver, while River Cracraft and Connor Wedington are candidates to be elevated from the practice squad for game day.
-
Odell Beckham Jr. WR | MIN
Rams' Odell Beckham: Limited by hip injury
Beckham (hip) was limited at Wednesday's walk-through practice, Lindsey Thiry of ESPN.com reports.
Beckham injured his hip during his 54-yard touchdown reception early in the fourth quarter of the Rams' eventual loss this past Sunday in Green Bay. Per Josina Anderson of USA Today, what has been termed a hip pointer is accompanied by pain and stiffness. At the very least, though, it's a good sign Beckham got on the field Wednesday, and he'll have two chances Thursday and Friday to log a full session before the Rams potentially give him a designation for ahead of a Week 13 matchup with the Jaguars.
-
Allen Robinson WR | DET
Bears' Allen Robinson: Sits out Wednesday
Robinson (hamstring) didn't practice Wednesday.
Robinson hasn't practiced since prior to the Bears' Week 10 bye due to the hamstring injury. So far, he's missed two games as a result of the injury, and a third may be on the horizon if he doesn't get back on the field Thursday or Friday. Marquise Goodwin (foot/ribs) also didn't practice Wednesday, so Darnell Mooney remains the healthiest of Chicago's top three wide receivers at the moment.
-
Brandin Cooks WR | SF
Texans' Brandin Cooks: Sits with illness
Cooks is dealing with an illness and will be listed as a non-participant on the Texans' estimated practice report.
In addition to Cooks, fellow wide receivers Chris Conley (illness) and Danny Amendola (knee) will also go down as a non-participants. Cooks and Conley, at least, should stand a good chance at returning to health before Sunday's game against the Colts.
-
Devin Duvernay WR | ARI
Ravens' Devin Duvernay: Dealing with thigh injury
Duvernay didn't practice Wednesday due to a thigh injury.
Duvernay hasn't lost too many snaps since Sammy Watkins returned from injured reserve, as Watkins has mostly been quiet or else poaching some work from Rashod Bateman. That said, Duvernay has just two games with more than four targets all season, and none with more than six. Given the team's depth at wide receiver, replacing Duvernay on special teams (he returns both kicks and punts) might be the greater challenge. It isn't yet clear if he's in serious danger of missing the game in Pittsburgh this Sunday.
