Davante Adams WR | LAR
Packers' Davante Adams: Back in the fold
The Packers activated Adams (illness) from the reserve/COVID-19 list Thursday.
Adams has spent the past week and a half on the COVID list after a positive test for the virus, which forced him to miss last Thursday's win at Arizona. A residual effect was Allen Lazard sitting out, too, as a close contact of Adams, but now both wide receivers are back on the active roster. The Packers also designated Marquez Valdes-Scantling (hamstring) to return from IR this week, so the position group could be entirely intact if the team activates him for Sunday's game in Kansas City. But Adams and company will be working with Jordan Love under center after Aaron Rodgers' own bout with COVID-19.

DeVante Parker WR | PHI
Dolphins' DeVante Parker: Remains limited participant
Parker (shoulder/hamstring) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice, Marcel Louis-Jacques of ESPN.com reports.
Parker still hasn't practiced fully since Week 4, but a trio of limited practices last week were enough for him to put an end to a three-game absence in the Dolphins' 26-11 loss to the Bills. Even if not 100 percent, Parker managed to deliver a productive outing in his return to the lineup, recording eight receptions for 85 yards on 11 targets. So long as he's able to practice in at least a limited capacity again Friday, Parker should have good odds of suiting up for Sunday's game against the Texans.
-
Donovan Peoples-Jones WR | NO
Browns' Donovan Peoples-Jones: Remains limited Thursday
Peoples-Jones (groin) remained limited at practice Thursday, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.
Back-to-back limited practices suggest that Peoples-Jones has a decent chance to suit up Sunday against Cincinnati, though he'll likely need to practice fully Friday in order to avoid a Week 9 injury designation. If Peoples-Jones is active this weekend, added targets could be available for him, with fellow wideout Odell Beckham (shoulder/personal) trending toward not playing.
-
Amari Cooper WR | LV
Cowboys' Amari Cooper: Another limited practice
Cooper (hamstring) practiced in a limited capacity Thursday, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.
Prior to the session, Cooper was doing resistance training alongside CeeDee Lamb (ankle) and Michael Gallup (IR/calf) with Cowboys trainers, according to Clarence E. Hill Jr. of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. After logging a second straight capped session, Cooper discussed his hamstring issue with Machota, stating, "It's getting better every day. I think it will be alright for the game (Sunday against the Broncos)." Cooper will have one more opportunity to put in a full practice Friday before the team potentially gives him a Week 9 designation or clears him outright for game action.

Chris Conley WR | SF
Texans' Chris Conley: Advances to full practice work
Conley (calf) was a full practice participant Thursday.
After being limited by the calf injury at Wednesday's practice, Conley was fully involved during Thursday's session, clearing the way for him to play this weekend against the Dolphins. The Texans are expected to get top quarterback Tyrod Taylor (hamstring) back from injured reserve this weekend to step back into the starting role in place of rookie Davis Mills, but the change under center likely won't dramatically improve Conley's outlook. Conley hasn't drawn more than four targets in any of his seven appearances this season.

CeeDee Lamb WR | DAL
Cowboys' CeeDee Lamb: Doesn't practice Thursday
Lamb didn't practice Thursday due to an ankle sprain, David Moore of The Dallas Morning News reports.
Lamb sustained the injury during Wednesday's session, limiting his practice reps. After failing to log any activity Thursday, though, his status now appears murky just three days before a Week 9 matchup with the Broncos. Lamb will have one more chance to get on the field before the Cowboys post their final practice report of the week, but he seems likely to exit it with at least a questionable designation.
-
Dante Pettis WR | SF
Giants' Dante Pettis: Not practicing again
Pettis (shoulder) didn't take part in Thursday's practice, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
The Giants listed Pettis as a non-participant on their official Week 9 report for the second straight day, after he sustained a left shoulder injury in Monday's loss to the Chiefs. The lack of practice reps this week seemingly put Pettis' availability for Sunday's game against the Raiders in peril, but the Giants will see what he's able to do at Friday's session before gauging where he stands heading into the weekend. If active Sunday, Pettis could have the chance to fill a key role in the Giants' passing game. Sterling Shepard (quadriceps) appears to be trending toward sitting out Week 9, while the statuses of fellow wideouts Kenny Golladay (knee), Kadarius Toney (thumb) and John Ross (quadriceps) are up in the air.
-
Sterling Shepard WR | NYJ
Giants' Sterling Shepard: Goes down as DNP on practice report
Shepard (quadriceps) was listed as a non-participant on Thursday's estimated practice report, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Per Salomone, Shepard was in attendance for the session and worked out with the team's training staff, but he apparently wasn't able to mix into any team drills. The Giants will wait and see what Shepard is able to do at the team's final practice of the week Friday before assessing his chances of playing Sunday against the Raiders, but at this stage, the wideout looks to be trending toward being inactive for a fourth time this season.
-
Kadarius Toney WR | CLE
Giants' Kadarius Toney: Limited again at practice
Toney (thumb) was a limited participant at Thursday's practice, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
For the second day in a row, Toney's reps were capped while he tends to a laceration on his thumb, an injury that forced him to briefly check out of Monday's 20-17 loss to the Chiefs. Ideally, the rookie first-round pick will upgrade to full activity Friday to clear up any concern about his status for Sunday's game against the Raiders. If he remains limited Friday, however, Toney will likely carry a questionable designation into the weekend.
-
Jalen Reagor WR | MIA
Eagles' Jalen Reagor: Manages limited practice showing
Reagor (ankle) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice.
Reagor took a meaningful step forward in his recovery from the ankle injury he sustained in the Week 8 win over the Lions, as he had previously been a non-participant for the Eagles' first Week 9 practice. The coaching staff will see what Reagor is able to do at Friday's practice before determining whether or not he'll carry an injury designation into this weekend's game against the Chargers.
