  • Broncos' Courtland Sutton: Suits up Sunday

Sutton (ankle) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Steelers.

Sutton suffered a sprained ankle during practice Friday, but he'll give it a go Sunday, which is a big boost for a Denver pass-catching corps that is minus WRs Jerry Jeudy (ankle) and KJ Hamler (knee) along with TE Albert Okwuegbunam (hamstring), who are all on IR. As long as his ankle holds up, Sutton and Tim Patrick should head the team's wideout corps in Week 5, with tight end Noah Fant also slated to be a key target for QB Teddy Bridgewater.

  • DeVante Parker WR | PHI

    Dolphins' DeVante Parker: Officially inactive

Parker (hamstring) is inactive Week 5 against Tampa Bay.

Parker was officially listed with a shoulder issue on this week's injury report, but a recent hamstring injury that popped up appears to be the culprit here. He was all but ruled out an hour before inactives were due, with team reporters suggesting that he wouldn't even take part in pregame warmups. With Parker sidelined and Will Fuller (finger) on IR, it will be up to the likes of Jaylen Waddle, Albert Wilson and Preston Williams to lead the Miami receiving corps.

  • DeVante Parker WR | PHI

Dolphins' DeVante Parker: Won't play Sunday

Parker (hamstring/shoulder) has been downgraded to out for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers, Adam Schefter of ESPN and Daniel Oyefusi of the Miami Herald report.

With Parker slated to be inactive for Sunday's 1:00 kickoff, Jaylen Waddle, Albert Wilson and Preston Williams are in line to serve as the Dolphins' top wideouts in Week 5, with Mack Hollins and Isaiah Ford candidates to see complementary snaps.

  • DeVante Parker WR | PHI

Dolphins' DeVante Parker: Not expected to play

Parker (hamstring/shoulder) is not expected to play Sunday against the Buccaneers, Jeff Darlington of ESPN reports.

The report notes that Parker had hoped to test his hamstring out Sunday and potentially play, but the wideout woke up with some tightness and is now in line to sit this one out, per Darlington. Official confirmation of Parker's Week 5 status will arrive upon the release of Miami's inactives prior to Sunday's 1:00 kickoff, but it looks like Jaylen Waddle, Albert Wilson and Preston Williams will serve as the team's top wideouts in Week 5.

  • Curtis Samuel WR | BUF

Football Team's Curtis Samuel: Availability hinges on pregame warmup

Samuel (groin) remains listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Saints and is set to go through a pregame warmup before Washington decides on his status, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

After Samuel turned in a limited practice Friday, head coach Ron Rivera expressed optimism the wideout would be ready to go for the Week 5 matchup. Assuming Samuel experiences no setbacks while working out early Sunday, he should avoid the inactive list, but how extensively he might be used is tough to predict. After missing Washington's first three games while recovering from the core-muscle injury that had bothered him since early June, Samuel played just 35 percent of the offensive snaps in the Football Team's Week 4 win over Atlanta.

  • Amari Cooper WR | LV

Cowboys' Amari Cooper: Looks ready for Week 5

Cooper (hamstring/rib), currently listed as questionable, is expected to play in Sunday's matchup against the Giants, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Cooper may not be 100 percent while he nurses two injuries, but after he concluded Week 5 prep with a pair of limited practices, he looks like he'll be able to play Sunday. Official confirmation on Cooper's status isn't expected to arrive until approximately 90 minutes before Sunday's 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff, when Dallas releases its inactive list. Even while playing hurt in the Week 4 win over Carolina, Cooper managed three receptions for 69 yards and a touchdown.

  • Cam Sims WR | CAR

Football Team's Cam Sims: Expected to miss multiple games

Sims (hamstring) is expected to miss an additional 1-2 weeks after Week 5, Ben Standig of The Athletic reports.

Sims was already ruled out for the team's Week 5 matchup with the Saints, but now he is looking at an extended absence. After a 2020 season where he caught 32 balls for 477 yards and a touchdown in 16 games, he's only reeled in two catches for 32 yards this year. DeAndre Carter is expected to see an increased role in Week 5 and potentially beyond.

  • Isaiah Ford WR | CHI

Dolphins' Isaiah Ford: Elevated from practice squad

Ford was elevated from the practice squad Saturday prior to the team's matchup versus the Buccaneers on Sunday.

The wide receiver will make his first appearance of the season, though he will be buried on the depth chart behind the likes of Jaylen Waddle, DeVante Parker and Albert Wilson. In 2020, Ford made 28 catches for 276 yards.

  • Dan Chisena WR | CAR

    Dan Chisena: Waived by Vikings

Chisena was waived by the Vikings on Saturday.

The wide receiver was activated from injured reserve Wednesday after dealing with an undisclosed injury, but it seems his run with the team has come to an end. He'll look to find another squad, where he can battle for a depth spot at wideout.

  • Cody White WR | LV

Steelers' Cody White: Added to 53-man roster

White was signed to the Steelers' 53-man roster Saturday, Brian Batko of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

White saw minimal playing time as part of the active roster in each of the last two games, but he hauled in both of his targets for 17 yards. He's unlikely to have a significant snap count against Denver on Sunday, even with James Washington (groin) sidelined.
