Laquon Treadwell WR | IND
Laquon Treadwell: Sticks around Jacksonville
Treadwell was signed to the Jaguars' practice squad Wednesday.
Treadwell was cut by the Jags ahead of Tuesday's roster deadline but will remain in the organization after passing through waivers unclaimed. The 2016 first-round pick appeared in five games for the Falcons last season, catching six passes for 49 yards and two touchdowns.

Trenton Irwin WR | SF
Trenton Irwin: Joins practice squad
Irwin was signed to the Bengals' practice squad Friday.
Irwin was let go by Cincinnati on Wednesday but will stick around the organization with the practice squad. He appeared in one game for the Bengals in each of the past two years.

Deon Cain WR | BUF
Ravens' Deon Cain: Shifts back to IR
Cain (head) reverted to Baltimore's injured reserve Wednesday, Luke Jones of WNST reports.
Cain picked up a head injury during Baltimore's preseason finale and continues to manage the issue. There was never much of a chance of Cain being claimed on waivers, so it's no surprise to see him revert to IR. He appeared in two games with the Steelers last season.

Cody White WR | LV
Cody White: Added to practice squad
White was added to the Steelers' practice squad Wednesday, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports.
White was unable to secure a spot on Pittsburgh's 53-man roster ahead of the regular season but will attempt to make his mark with the practice squad. The 22-year-old hasn't yet made his NFL debut.

N'Keal Harry TE | SEA
Patriots' N'Keal Harry: Officially on IR
Harry (shoulder) has been placed on IR by the Patriots.
As a result, the 2019 first-rounder won't be eligible to return to action until Week 4 at the earliest, but a stint on IR will give the wideout the time that he needs to recover from a shoulder injury that has sidelined him of late. Once Harry makes his way back to the active roster, he'll bolster a New England wideout corps that currently features Nelson Agholor, Jakobi Meyers and Kendrick Bourne. Harry's chances of emerging as a fantasy option at that point largely will hinge on the aforementioned trio's health and level of effectiveness, as well as his ability to gain chemistry with rookie starting QB Mac Jones.

Curtis Samuel WR | BUF
Football Team's Curtis Samuel: Scheduled for Monday return
Samuel (groin) is scheduled for a return to full-team work at Monday's practice, Peter Hailey of NBC4 Washington reports.
Samuel has been limited to individual drills since his removal from the PUP list Aug. 15, but coach Ron Rivera said Thursday that he's highly confident the wideout will play Week 1 against the Chargers. A return to practice Monday would be a big step forward, with Samuel's absence now stretching to three months. Rivera said Samuel will either be cleared for his full workload or held out entirely, rather than being eased into action the first few weeks. Granted, Rivera's statements aren't necessarily reliable, so practice reports next week will still be a handy tool.

Mike Evans WR | SF
Buccaneers' Mike Evans: Restructures contract for cap space
Evans has agreed to restructure his contract with the Buccaneers, creating $8.9 million in salary cap space, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.
It's the typical cap-clearing agreement, converting base salary into bonus money. Evans still gets the same compensation, more or less, and still has three years remaining on a five-year, $82.5 million extension. He'll open his season at home in Tampa Bay next Thursday night, facing a Dallas defense that likely will start CBs Trevon Diggs and Anthony Brown on the perimeter. It's a favorable matchup for Evans, though the 6-foot-2 Diggs at least can match up from a size standpoint.

Brandon Aiyuk WR | SF
49ers' Brandon Aiyuk: Looking good on side field
Aiyuk (hamstring) looked unencumbered while running sprints on a side field Thursday, and he's on track to be a full-go Week 1 at Detroit, David Lombardi of The Athletic reports.
Aiyuk has been out for about a week now, after catching one pass for three yards in San Francisco's second preseason game (his only appearance this August). A return to practice should be coming at some point within the next week, as the 49ers maintain that Aiyuk's hamstring injury is minor.

Kendall Hinton WR | DEN
Kendall Hinton: Signed to practice squad
Hinton was signed to Denver's practice squad Wednesday, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.
After waiving Hinton on Monday, the Broncos signed the wideout to their practice squad following an impressive training camp. The 24-year-old was praised for his improvements in the offseason, but it wasn't enough for him to make the active roster. Hinton notably stepped in as Denver's signal-caller for a game during the 2020 season when all of the team's quarterbacks landed in the COVID-19 protocol. The wide receiver's best chance of being called up to the active roster would be if injuries begin to mount among Denver's pass catchers.
