  • Buccaneers' Justin Watson: Hits PUP list

Watson (knee) has landed on the Buccaneers' reserve/PUP list, Greg Auman of The Athletic reports.

Watson underwent knee surgery in July and is expected to be out until at least November. When the 25-year-old returns from injury, he likely won't receive any meaningful snaps, as Tampa Bay's receiving corps is pretty stacked. The former Pennsylvania receiver is slated to sneak in behind Tyler Johnson on the depth chart once he's fully recovered.

  • Alex Bachman WR | LAR

    Alex Bachman: Cut by Giants

New York cut Bachman on Tuesday, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports.

Bachman appeared in one game with the Giants last season, and he spent most of the last two years on the team's practice squad. He could be a candidate to once again land on the practice squad.

  • Easop Winston WR | NYJ

Easop Winston: Waived by New Orleans

The Saints waived Winston on Tuesday, Amie Just of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.

Winston spent time with the Rams after going undrafted in 2020, but he wasn't able to earn a roster spot out of training camp. The Washington State product has shown enough upside to warrant a spot on the Saints' practice squad if he clears waivers.

  • David Sills WR | TB

    David Sills: Waived by Giants

New York waived Sills on Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

Sills put together a solid preseason with the Giants, so he could draw some interest on waivers. Since going undrafted out of West Virginia back in 2019, Sills has yet to make his NFL debut.

  • Steven Sims WR | ARI

Steven Sims: Stint in Buffalo over

The Bills cut Sims on Tuesday, Jay Skurski of The Buffalo News reports.

Sims linked up with the Bills on Aug. 25, but his tenure with the team has already run dry. After appearing in 28 contests with Washington over the last two seasons, Sims will now need to search for a depth role elsewhere. Over 12 games in 2020, he racked up 27 catches for 265 yards and one touchdown.

  • Equanimeous St. Brown: Sent packing by Green Bay

St. Brown was waived by the Packers on Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

St. Brown showed promise in his 2018 rookie season, but he missed the next year due to injury, played a bit role in 2020 and did not see any preseason action this year -- again due to injury. As a result, the team decided to part ways with the pass catcher. St. Brown could return to Green Bay on the practice squad if he doesn't get a look elsewhere.

  • DeVante Parker WR | PHI

Dolphins' DeVante Parker: Sheds non-contact jersey

Parker (undisclosed) is participating in Tuesday's practice without wearing a red non-contact jersey, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

The Dolphins spent the preseason easing Parker back into practice while he worked through an undisclosed injury, and his return to contact reps represents a significant step forward. Barring any setbacks, it looks like Parker can be considered on track for the Sept. 12 season opener in New England. Parker is slated for a key role in Miami's revamped receiving corps alongside new teammates Jaylen Waddle and Will Fuller (foot), though the latter won't be eligible to suit up until Week 2 due to a suspension.

  • Kristian Wilkerson: Waived by New England

The Patriots waived Wilkerson on Tuesday, Doug Kyed of Pro Football Focus reports.

Wilkerson was activated to the Patriots' main roster for just one game last season and played only two snaps. He spent the majority of the 2020 campaign on New England's practice squad and will likely do the same this season if he clears waivers.

  • Jaydon Mickens WR | IND

Jaydon Mickens: Let go by Bucs

Tampa Bay cut Mickens on Tuesday, Jenna Laine of ESPN.com reports.

Mickens could be a candidate to pop back up on Tampa Bay's practice squad, per Laine. He suited up for 10 games for the Buccaneers last season, in which span he secured seven of 10 targets for 58 yards.

  • Saints' Michael Thomas: Likely headed for PUP list

Thomas (ankle) likely will be placed on the PUP list, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

With a four-month timeline estimate after June surgery, Thomas was a strong candidate for the PUP list all along. In this case, the move will rule him out for only five games instead of six, as the Saints have an early bye (Week 6) in 2021. Assuming this move becomes official Tuesday or Wednesday, the star wideout will be ineligible for games until Week 7 at Seattle (Oct. 25).
