Braxton Berrios WR | NYG
Jets' Braxton Berrios: Four targets in return
Berrios caught two of four targets for 17 yards in Saturday's 23-14 preseason win over the Packers. He added two yards on a punt return.
Berrios returned to action after missing the preseason opener against the Giants due to a groin injury. His production in this one was nothing to write home about, but Berrios actually ranked second in targets behind Corey Davis (six), while no other teammate was thrown to more than twice. Berrios has the inside track on securing a roster spot due to his contributions as a return man on special teams and ability to fill in capably in the slot on offense, but a strong performance in the preseason finale against the Eagles would help put any doubt about his future with the Jets to bed prior to final cuts.

Anthony Schwartz WR | MIA
Browns' Anthony Schwartz: Sidelined by hamstring injury
Schwartz (hamstring) isn't in line to play in Sunday's preseason game against the Giants, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
Schwartz's anticipated absence is injury-related, and his status for the team's preseason finale next weekend is TBD. Meanwhile, the Browns are expected to rest multiple healthy starters Sunday, which sets the stage for the team's depth wideouts to have an opportunity to make their respective cases for roster slotting versus the Giants.

Ihmir Smith-Marsette WR | ARI
Vikings' Ihmir Smith-Marsette: Shows spark in return game
Smith-Marsette had a 41-yard kickoff return and a 17-yard punt return in Saturday's preseason loss to Indianapolis.
Smith-Marsette didn't do much on offense, as didn't have a reception on two targets. However, he'll need to make the roster as a returner, and he showed a spark in the loss. Smith-Marsette was a fifth-round selection and could make the team as a special teams contributor and depth receiver.
-
Corey Davis WR | NYJ
Jets' Corey Davis: Leading receiver against Packers
Davis caught four of six targets for 70 yards in Saturday's 23-14 preseason win over Green Bay.
The Jets' starters on offense played almost the whole first half, and Davis was targeted on six of quarterback Zach Wilson's 11 throws. The chemistry between the rookie quarterback and free-agent addition at wide receiver has been apparent, though both of Wilson's touchdowns in this one went to tight end Tyler Kroft. Regardless of his involvement in the preseason finale against the Eagles, Davis is poised to open the season as the No. 1 wide receiver in a Jets offense that looks much more competent than last year's league-worst unit.
-
Tyler Lockett WR | LV
Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: Could play next week
Head coach Pete Carroll said Lockett (groin) could play in the final preseason game Saturday versus the Chargers, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.
Lockett has been tending to a groin injury for nearly a week now, and he was able to go through warmups ahead of this past Saturday's preseason loss to the Broncos before ultimately watching from the sidelines. The 28-year-old wideout is making steady progress in his return to action. The Seahawks nonetheless will take a cautious approach in the final preseason game if Lockett's feeling any ill effects. The Kansas State product has missed just one game over his six-year career.
-
K.J. Osborn WR | TEN
Vikings' K.J. Osborn: Gets start at wide receiver
Osborn started at wide receiver and caught both his two targets for 27 yards in Saturday's preseason loss to the Colts.
Osborn started opposite Adam Thielen with Justin Jefferson sitting out as he comes back from a shoulder injury, which shows he has a lead on the third-receiver role. Osborn also returned one punt for four yards. He's in the mix to win the punt and kickoff roles as well. Osborn has drawn rave reviews in camp, so he could have a role in the offense, but Dede Westbrook (knee) ultimately may win the No. 3 job when he gains full clearance from the torn ACL he sustained in 2020.
-
Chris Conley WR | SF
Texans' Chris Conley: Comes up empty Saturday
Conley failed to bring in any of his three targets during the Texans' 20-14 preseason win over the Cowboys on Saturday night.
The veteran wideout's quiet night was in stark contrast to his four-catch, 51-yard effort in the exhibition opener against the Packers a week prior. Despite the empty stat line Saturday, Conley will head into the regular season as the No. 2 receiver alongside top option Brandin Cooks.
-
Keke Coutee WR | MIA
Texans' Keke Coutee: Pair of grabs in preseason victory
Coutee secured both of his targets for 29 yards in the Texans' 20-14 preseason win over the Cowboys on Saturday night.
Coutee tied with multiple players for the team lead in receptions on the night in a solid showing by preseason standards. The oft-injured fourth-year wideout appears to have an inside track for No. 3 receiver duties heading into the final week of preseason considering Anthony Miller (shoulder) may not be ready to play until Week 2.
-
Jerry Jeudy WR | CLE
Broncos' Jerry Jeudy: Solid showing in preseason win
Jeudy hauled in both of his targets for 40 yards in the Broncos' 30-3 preseason win over the Seahawks on Saturday night.
The 2020 first-round pick followed up his 33-yard reception from the exhibition opener against the Vikings with Saturday's solid showing in first-half action. The bulk of Jeudy's production came at a critical time, as he hauled in a 35-yard reception on fourth down across the middle from Teddy Bridgewater on a drive that would ultimately culminate in KJ Hamler's two-yard touchdown grab. Jeudy averaged an impressive 16.5 yards per catch on his 52 receptions in his rookie season, and the couple of sizable gains he's already turned in during preseason action hint at another year of downfield success working with either Bridgewater or Drew Lock.
-
Michael Gallup WR | WAS
Cowboys' Michael Gallup: One catch in Saturday's loss
Gallup caught one of two targets for four yards in Saturday's preseason loss to the Texans.
The Cowboys had their offensive starters out for the entire first quarter, but with Dak Prescott (shoulder) not one of them, there wasn't much production to go around in the passing game. Gallup is the clear third option in Dallas behind Amari Cooper and CeeDee Lamb, but if Prescott is healthy, that role could still lead to solid fantasy numbers.
