Byron Pringle WR | WAS
Chiefs' Byron Pringle: Absent from box score
Pringle was not targeted during Sunday's game versus the Panthers.
Pringle was unable to follow up a season-best three grabs for 22 yards last Sunday versus the Jets with another solid showing Sunday. He saw his snap count reduced from 56 percent last week to just 31 percent against Carolina and is likely set to see that minimized further when Sammy Watkins (hamstring) gets the all-clear.
-
Demarcus Robinson WR | SF
Chiefs' Demarcus Robinson: Finds pay dirt again
Robinson tallied three receptions for 34 yards and a touchdown on three targets Sunday versus the Panthers.
Robinson logged 50 snaps at receiver in the contest, trailing only star wideout Tyreek Hill while accounting for 81 percent of the offense's total snap count. He should continue to be involved in the game plan moving forward but could see his role reduced in the coming weeks once Sammy Watkins (hamstring) get the green light to rejoin the action.
-
Mecole Hardman WR | BUF
Chiefs' Mecole Hardman: Small contribution versus Panthers
Hardman recorded three receptions for 48 yards on four targets during Sunday's game versus the Panthers.
Coming off of arguably his best outing of the season last week versus the Jets, Hardman disappeared again for most of Sunday's contest. He should continue to see work moving forward but could see his snap counts deteriorate a bit with Sammy Watkins (hamstring) nearing his return to action.
-
Damiere Byrd WR | BUF
Patriots' Damiere Byrd: Catches five passes
Byrd caught five of nine targets for 65 yards in Monday night's 30-27 win over the Jets.
Byrd trailed only Jakobi Meyers in all major receiving categories as the clear No. 2 option in New England's passing game. Despite the Patriots' lack of dynamic weapons, Byrd still acquitted himself nicely, most notably on a 31-yard gain to New York's three-yard line late in the fourth quarter. That play helped set up a game-tying touchdown, which along with Byrd's overall production Monday made for a quality Week 9 showing.

Jakobi Meyers WR | JAC
Patriots' Jakobi Meyers: Career-best performance in win
Meyers caught 12 of 14 targets for 169 yards in Monday night's 30-27 win over the Jets.
He put together by far the best showing of his young career, accounting for the majority of Cam Newton's 274 passing yards. Meyers was targeted on 40 percent of Newton's 35 attempts, and caught nearly everything thrown his way. Although his longest reception went for 33 yards, Meyers' most important play came on a 20-yard reception that put New England in range for the game-winning field goal with three seconds remaining. Following such a great performance, Meyers' stock is undoubtedly on the rise in advance of Week 10, but a tough matchup against the Ravens represents a stark contrast from facing the still-winless Jets.

Breshad Perriman WR | IND
Jets' Breshad Perriman: Big game Monday
Perriman caught five of seven targets for 101 yards and two touchdowns in Monday night's 30-27 loss to the Patriots.
Perriman was targeted deep early in Monday's contest, and after an unsuccessful end-zone look prior, he ran free on play action for a 50-yard touchdown grab to begin the second quarter. The speedster then hauled in a 15-yard score after halftime, contributing toward easily his best performance of this season. The fact that Perriman's production came while the Jets had each of their top three wideouts healthy for the first time this season is interesting to note, but now fantasy owners will need to wait a week to see whether Perriman can maintain his success when New York returns from its bye to face the Chargers in Week 11.
-
Jamison Crowder WR | WAS
Jets' Jamison Crowder: Scores in return
Crowder caught both of his targets for 26 yards and a touchdown in Monday night's 30-27 loss to the Patriots.
Crowder returned from a two-game injury absence to make a splash play to end the first half. The wideout impressively dragged his feet while hauling in a 20-yard touchdown pass from Joe Flacco alongside the sideline of the end zone, sending the Jets into halftime on a high. Although Crowder's impact beyond that reception was limited, he's now scored three times through five appearances this season. The veteran will aim to build on that form while further healing up in advance of New York's next game, which following a bye comes in Week 11 versus the Chargers.
-
Kirk Merritt WR | NO
Kirk Merritt: Shipped back to practice squad
Merritt reverted to the Dolphins' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's official transaction log.
Merritt only reached the field for a total of seven special-teams snaps and one offensive snap during Sunday's 34-31 win over the Cardinals, failing to make a statistical contribution on a limited workload. With his NFL debut now in hand, the undrafted rookie from Arkansas State shifts his focus on earning another trip to the active roster in the near future. With Preston Williams (foot) deemed day-to-day and Lynn Bowden currently residing on the reserve/COVID-19 list, there remains a possibility Merritt will be back in the mix for an active roster spot Week 10 against the Chargers.
-
Daurice Fountain WR | DET
Daurice Fountain: Sent down to practice squad
Fountain reverted to the Colts' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's official transaction log.
Fountain fielded 10 of 68 offensive snaps for Indianapolis during a 24-10 loss to the Ravens on Sunday, but he was unable to add to his season total of two receptions and 23 receiving yards. The Northern Iowa product has been held without a catch in four of his five appearances this season while fielding an average of 12.8 offensive snaps per contest.
-
River Cracraft WR | WAS
49ers' River Cracraft: Signed off practice squad
Cracraft has been promoted to the 49ers' active roster from the team's practice squad, Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
During Thursday night's lopsided 34-17 defeat to Green Bay, Cracraft registered his first career start in 11 NFL appearances. The Washington State product was only able to compile two catches for 13 yards on his five targets against the Packers, but he's been added to the active roster as a depth option with the 49ers continuing to deal with a myriad of wide receiver injuries. Deebo Samuel is still coping with a hamstring issue despite being activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list last Friday, while Kendrick Bourne landed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Monday, necessitating the addition of Cracraft to the 53-man roster.
