Zay Jones WR | ARI
Cardinals' Zay Jones: Ruled out for Thursday
Cardinals coach Jonathan Gannon said Wednesday that Jones (concussion) is ruled out for Thursday's game against the Seahawks, Dani Sureck of the Cardinals' official site reports.
Jones will miss Week 4, making his next opportunity to retake the field Week 5 against Tennessee on Oct. 5. In order to face the Titans then, he'll need to fully clear the concussion protocol. With Jones unavailable versus Seattle, Greg Dortch will figure to see an uptick in snaps and routes behind Marvin Harrison and Michael Wilson.

Quintez Cephus WR | HOU
Quintez Cephus: Back with Houston
Cephus signed with the Texans' practice squad Wednesday.
Cephus was let go by the Texans in late August after failing to make the team's initial 53-man roster, but he's since been added to the practice squad. The Wisconsin product's most recent NFL action came with the Lions in 2022, when he appeared in four games and recorded two catches for 15 yards.

Alec Pierce WR | IND
Colts' Alec Pierce: Not practicing Wednesday
Pierce (concussion) won't practice Wednesday, James Boyd of The Athletic reports.
Pierce, who sustained a concussion during this past Sunday's game against the Titans, thus has two more opportunities to practice ahead of this weekend's contest against the Rams. In the event that Pierce isn't cleared for Week 4 action, Adonai Mitchell and Ashton Dulin would be in line for added snaps alongside fellow WRs Michael Pittman and Josh Downs.

Jalen Royals WR | KC
Chiefs' Jalen Royals: Not involved in Week 3
Royals did not record a single snap in Sunday's 22-9 win over the Giants.
Royals was active for the first time in his rookie season, however, he did not see the field at all in the contest. The rookie wideout has been dealing with knee tendinitis since mid-August, but he was finally healthy enough to suit up in Week 3. Despite this, the coaching staff decided to keep Royals off the field after he practiced for the first time in a month ahead of Week 3. It's plausible to think the 22-year-old will continue to develop and see some usage in the Chiefs passing attack, but the impending returns of Xavier Worthy (shoulder) and Rashee Rice (suspension) likely will make it difficult for Royals to see a consistent role on offense. The Utah State product will look to see his first game action in Week 4 when the Chiefs host the Ravens.

JuJu Smith-Schuster WR | KC
Chiefs' JuJu Smith-Schuster: Four grabs vs. Giants
Smith-Schuster reeled in all four of his targets for 55 yards in Sunday's 22-9 win over the Giants.
Smith-Schuster played 50 of the Chiefs' 72 offensive snaps Sunday, behind fellow wide receiver Tyquan Thornton (55). The veteran wideout has remained a relatively important part of the Chiefs' passing attack due to Xavier Worthy (shoulder) being sidelined and Rashee Rice suspended, but Smith-Schuster hasn't been able to make much noise with his opportunities. Heading into a Week 4 matchup against the Ravens, Smith-Schuster offers limited upside, especially with Worthy potentially back in the mix.
-
Brandin Cooks WR | BUF
Saints' Brandin Cooks: Three catches in loss
Cooks caught three of five targets for 24 yards in Sunday's 44-13 loss to the Seahawks.
Cooks operated as the Saints' No. 3 wide receiver, playing 51 of the team's 73 offensive snaps behind both Chris Olave (62) and Rashid Shaheed (54). The 31-year-old wideout has failed to record more than three catches in all three games this season, offering very little upside in New Orleans' struggling offense. Cooks is best left out of fantasy lineups heading into a Week 4 matchup against the Bills.
-
Michael Wilson WR | ARI
Cardinals' Michael Wilson: Minimal involvement in loss
Wilson caught one of his two targets for five yards in Sunday's 16-15 loss to the 49ers.
Wilson recorded just one reception for the third straight game, and he now has just three catches for 21 yards and a touchdown on eight targets to start the season. The third-year wideout is not getting enough of an opportunity within the Arizona offense to be considered for fantasy purposes with any type of confidence. Wilson will look to get more involved in Week 4 when the Cardinals host the Seahawks.
-
Jahan Dotson WR | ATL
Eagles' Jahan Dotson: Another one-catch game
Dotson caught one of his three targets for seven yards in Sunday's 33-26 win over the Rams.
After finishing Week 1 with three catches for 59 yards, Dotson has just one reception in both of the last two weeks. He did play a season-high 49 offensive snaps against the Rams, likely due to the fact that the Eagles were trailing for most of the game, but that didn't result in a large number of targets.

Lucky Jackson WR | MIN
Lucky Jackson: Let go from practice squad
The Vikings cut Jackson from the practice squad Tuesday, Craig Peters of the team's official site reports.
Jackson failed to make the Vikings' 53-man roster at the end of training camp. He opted to stay in Minnesota as a member of the practice squad, but the 28-year-old wideout will now look to join a team in need of depth at the position. Jackson last saw regular-season action in 2023 with the Vikings, when he served in a special-teams role across three games.

Tim Jones WR | JAC
Tim Jones: Let go by Minnesota
The Vikings released Jones on Tuesday, Craig Peters of the team's official site reports.
Jones played 31 snaps (25 on special teams, six on offense) through the first two games of the regular season but was inactive for the Vikings' 48-10 win over the Bengals on Sunday. The veteran wideout will now have the ability to sign with another team in need of a wide receiver who can also contribute on special teams.
