  • Jahdae Walker WR | CHI

Bears' Jahdae Walker: Likely missing Week 2

Walker (ankle) is listed as doubtful ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Lions.

Walker opened the Bears' week of practice with consecutive limited sessions, but following Friday's DNP, he'll likely be sidelined Sunday. The Texas A&M product played 11 special-teams snaps during Chicago's Week 1 loss to the Vikings, failing to record a stat.

  • Jalen Royals WR | KC

Chiefs' Jalen Royals: Pro debut delayed again

Royals (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's contest against the Eagles.

Royals thus will push back his pro debut one more week due to the knee tendinitis that has bothered him since at least Aug. 18. He has yet to practice this season, so until he does he likely won't be a candidate to suit up on game days. No. 1 WR Xavier Worthy is tending to a dislocated right shoulder that he suffered Week 1, so even if he's available whenever Royals is able to suit up, the former may not be operating at full capacity, thereby opening up snaps and targets for the rest of the Chiefs' receiving corps.

  • Chiefs' Xavier Worthy: Doubtful for Sunday

Worthy (shoulder) is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game versus the Eagles.

After coming out of a Week 1 loss to the Chargers with a dislocated right shoulder, Worthy got back on the field as a limited participant at practice Thursday and Friday, after which coach Andy Reid gave him a "slim" chance to suit up Week 2, per Jesse Newell of The Athletic. A doubtful designation implies Worthy is more likely than not to be inactive Sunday, but Kansas City doesn't need to make a decision on that front until about 90 minutes before a 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff. With rookie fourth-rounder Jalen Royals (knee) ruled out, the Chiefs' current healthy wide receivers on hte active roster are Hollywood Brown, JuJu Smith-Schuster, Tyquan Thornton, Jason Brownlee and Nikko Remigio.

  • Darius Slayton WR | NYG

Giants' Darius Slayton: Cleared for Week 2

Slayton (groin) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Cowboys, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

A mid-week addition to the injury report, Slayton apparently didn't have any issues during Friday's practice. He handled a team-high 97 percent route share in last week's loss to Washington but somehow managed just one incomplete target on his 38 routes. Slayton should see more looks this Sunday but won't necessarily be featured even if Wan'Dale Robinson (questionable, ankle) doesn't end up playing.

  • Giants' Wan'Dale Robinson: Listed as questionable

Robinson (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Cowboys, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

Fellow Giants wideouts Malik Nabers (back) and Darius Slayton (groin) don't have injury designations, leaving Robinson and LT Andrew Thomas (doubtful, foot) as the question marks for Big Blue's offense ahead of a 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff in Dallas. It looked like a good matchup for Robinson otherwise, with Cowboys slot corner DaRon Bland (foot) expected to miss multiple weeks.

  • Falcons' Casey Washington: Missing Week 2 due to concussion

Washington (concussion) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Vikings, D. Orlando Ledbetter of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Washington didn't clear the NFL's five-step concussion protocol in time to have a chance to play Sunday. His next opportunity to see game action will come Week 3 against the Panthers. Barring an addition from the practice squad, Ray-Ray McCloud and KhaDarel Hodge will round out Atlanta's wide receiver depth chart Sunday behind Drake London and Darnell Mooney, both of whom were cleared of their respective shoulder injuries on Friday's injury report.

  • Jalen Royals WR | KC

Chiefs' Jalen Royals: No practice Friday

Royals (knee) was a non-participant at Friday's practice, Matt McMullen of the Chiefs' official site reports.

Royals has been tending to knee tendinitis since at least Aug. 18 and hasn't been able to practice in any capacity in the meantime, delaying the rookie fourth-round pick's pro debut. It's unclear if he has any chance to suit up Sunday versus the Eagles, but Friday's injury report may provide clarity on that front.

  • Jamal Agnew WR | ATL

Falcons' Jamal Agnew: Ruled out for SNF

Agnew (groin) has been ruled out for Sunday night's game against the Vikings, D. Orlando Ledbetter of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Agnew was injured in the Falcons' Week 1 loss to the Bucs after returning a pair of kickoffs for 57 yards and two punts for 29 yards. Almost strictly a special teams player at this point in his career, Agnew hasn't caught a regular-season pass since 2023.

  • Chimere Dike WR | TEN

Titans' Chimere Dike: Larger role incoming?

Head coach Brian Callahan told reporters Friday that Dike has earned more opportunities as a wide receiver, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.

Tennessee's wide receiver corps underwhelmed in the Week 1 loss to the Broncos, but Dike emerged as one of the team's few bright spots. The 2024 fourth-round pick from Florida tallied 156 total return yards, including a 71-yard kickoff return to put the Titans in field-goal range right before halftime. Callahan told reporters that he's been impressed with Dike's play thus far, suggesting his offensive snap share will increase in Week 2 against the Rams. He figures to slot in as the Titans' third or fourth wide receiver Sunday.

  • Darnell Mooney WR | ATL

Falcons' Darnell Mooney: Cleared for Week 2 return

Mooney (shoulder) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game at Minnesota, Marc Raimondi of ESPN.com reports.

Neither does Drake London, who hurt his shoulder during the season opener that Mooney missed. Mooney returns for an interesting matchup, facing a Vikings defense that gave up the most PPR points to wide receivers in 2024 (and seventh most in 2023), despite generally playing well under highly regarded coordinator Brian Flores. Falcons offensive coordinator Zac Robinson often had London and Mooney topping 90 percent snap shares last season, but there's some chance of a limited workload after Mooney's lengthy absence (he was injured seven weeks ago on the first day of training camp).
