  • Phillip Dorsett: Done in Sin City

Dorsett was released by the Raiders on Monday.

Dorsett signed with Las Vegas in July, recording three catches for 36 yards while appearing in one preseason game with the team. The wide receiver spent a substantial chunk of the 2024 campaign with the Falcons' practice squad, and he'll likely garner a similar opportunity with another team ahead of the 2025 season.

  • Marquez Callaway: Cut by Las Vegas

Callaway was released by the Raiders on Monday.

Callaway signed with Las Vegas on Aug. 11 after being let go by the 49ers, and he caught one pass for eight yards in Saturday's 20-10 preseason loss to the Cardinals. The wide receiver will likely find a practice-squad opportunity in the near future.

  • Lance McCutcheon: Doesn't make 53-man roster

McCutcheon was waived by the Steelers on Monday, Teresa Varley of the team's official site reports.

McCutcheon signed a futures deal with the Steelers in January and entered training camp with an outside chance of making the 53-man roster. He showed some flashes during training camp, and across three preseason games he logged five catches (on eight targets) for 66 yards and a touchdown. McCutcheon was unable to survive the Steelers' roster cuts, but assuming he clears waivers, he could remain in Pittsburgh as a member of the practice squad.

  • Tory Horton WR | SEA

Seahawks' Tory Horton: Nearing return to practice

Horton (ankle) is expected to resume practicing next week, Brady Henderson of ESPN.com reports.

Horton suffered an ankle injury in Seattle's second preseason game and hasn't been able to practice since. His projected return to the field bodes well for his chances of playing in a Week 1 matchup against the 49ers, but it will be worth monitoring his activity level next week. Assuming he can suit up, Horton projects to be on the field in three-receiver sets.

  • Nate McCollum WR | ARI

Nate McCollum: Let go by Arizona

The Cardinals waived McCollum on Monday, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.

McCollum caught on with the Cardinals in early August after being let go by the Seahawks in June. He didn't see a target over the Cardinals' first two exhibition games but saw more opportunities in Saturday's preseason finale against the Raiders, finishing with two catches on as many targets for 17 yards. McCollum will have the chance to sign with a team if he clears waivers, and he could remain in Arizona to be a part of the team's practice squad.

  • T.J. Luther WR | CAR

T.J. Luther: Let go by Carolina

Luther was waived by the Panthers on Monday, Darin Gantt of the team's official website reports.

Luther re-signed with the Panthers in May after the team had previously waived him earlier in the month. The wideout reeled in three receptions for 49 yards in two preseason games, and he could return to the team's practice squad if he clears waivers.

  • Jacolby George WR | CAR

    Jacolby George: Waived by Carolina

George was waived by the Panthers on Monday, Darin Gantt of the team's official website reports.

George inked a deal with Carolina as an undrafted free agent in April, securing two catches for 19 yards while appearing in all three preseason contests with the team. If the wide receiver goes unclaimed on waivers, there's a good chance that his next destination ends up being with the Panthers' practice squad.

  • Kobe Hudson WR | CAR

Kobe Hudson: Let go by Carolina

Hudson was waived by the Panthers on Monday, Darin Gantt of the team's official website reports.

Hudson signed with the Panthers as an undrafted free agent in April, recording three catches for 19 yards while appearing in two preseason games with the team. The wide receiver will now look for his next opportunity, which certainly could come as a member of Carolina's practice squad.

  • Elijah Cooks WR | NO

Elijah Cooks: Fails to make 53-man roster

The Eagles waived Cooks on Monday, Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Cooks signed a futures deal with the Eagles in February after spending most of the 2024 season on the Jaguars' practice squad. He missed the Eagles' second preseason game against the Browns on Aug. 16 due to a shoulder injury, but he returned for the preseason finale against the Jets on Friday, finishing with two catches (on six targets) for 14 yards. Cooks will likely clear waivers, at which point he'll have the chance to sign with a team in need of a wide receiver; however, he could remain in Philadelphia as a member of the practice squad.

  • Terrace Marshall: Cut by Philadelphia

The Eagles released Marshall on Monday, Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Marshall was limited by a knee injury during training camp, but he managed to play in the final two preseason games and finished with seven catches (on 11 targets) for 66 yards. The 2021 second-rounder had his moments during practices and preseason games, but it wasn't enough for him to crack the Eagles' 53-man roster. Marshall will explore his next options and aim to catch on with a team in need of depth at wide receiver.
