  • Jaguars' Darius Lassiter: Rejoins Jags

Lassiter signed with the Jaguars on Wednesday.

Jacksonville waived Lassiter on Tuesday but he rejoined the team one day later. He originally signed as an undrafted free agent after the 2025 draft, so he is a longshot to make the roster out of camp.

  • Grant DuBose WR | BUF

Bills' Grant DuBose: Suffers injury in practice

DuBose suffered a shoulder injury during Buffalo's practice Wednesday, Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN.com reports.

DuBose was carted off the field after falling on his shoulder during a drill, leaving his status up in the air for the Saturday's preseason game versus the Buccaneers. The 24-year-old had just signed with the Bills on Tuesday, and it's currently unclear how long he'll be sidelined.

  • Giles Jackson WR | PHI

Giles Jackson: Let go by Philadelphia

The Eagles waived Jackson on Wednesday.

Jackson signed with the Eagles in early May as an undrafted free agent, but he'll be on the lookout for another team in need of pass-catching depth once he clears waivers. Jackson finished his final season at Washington with 85 catches for 893 yards and seven touchdowns across 13 games.

  • Saints' Devaughn Vele: Traded to New Orleans

The Broncos agreed to terms Wednesday on a deal that sends Vele to the Saints in exchange for a 2026 fourth-round pick and a 2027 seventh-round pick.

Vele is coming off a rookie season in which he compiled a 41-475-3 receiving line, working mostly as a slot specialist. That production is relatively impressive for a seventh-round pick who suited up for only 13 regular-season games in 2024, but with Denver's offseason additions to the receiving corps he's now been working with the second-team offense throughout training camp. With New Orleans, Vele figures to benefit from a clearer path to slot snaps behind starting wideouts Chris Olave, Rashid Shaheed and Brandin Cooks. He'll now have just under three weeks to build chemistry with quarterbacks Spencer Rattler, Tyler Shough and Jake Haener, though, while facing the task of picking up a new playbook in head coach Kellen Moore's complex offense.

  • Jordan Addison WR | MIN

Vikings' Jordan Addison: No notable injury

Addison (suspension) did not sustain a significant injury upon departing Wednesday's practice early and will have no limitations going forward, Kevin Seifert of ESPN.com reports.

Addison appeared to hurt his hand or arm Wednesday, resulting in him spending the rest of practice off the field as an observer. That he's avoided any sort of serious issue is an especially positive development considering that both Justin Jefferson (hamstring) and Jalen Nailor (hand) currently are nursing injuries of their own. Jefferson, at least, returned to practice Monday and has begun ramping up his activity level with the goal of being fully healthy for Week 1 against the Bears on Monday, Sept. 8. Addison, for his part, will miss time early in the regular season due to his three-game suspension, though he'll be allowed to suit up for Friday's preseason finale against the Titans if coach Kevin O'Connell decides to play his starters.

  • 49ers' Demarcus Robinson: Suspended three games

San Francisco head coach Kyle Shanahan said Wednesday that Robinson has been suspended the first three games of the regular season for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Robinson's suspension relates to a misdemeanor DUI charge he pled no-contest to in July, stemming from an arrest last November. The veteran wide receiver will have to wait to make his regular-season debut until Sunday, Sept. 28 against the Jaguars, though he remains eligible to suit up for the 49ers' preseason finale against Los Angeles on Saturday. Robinson's absence will occur at an especially crucial point for San Francisco's passing game, with Brandon Aiyuk (PUP-knee) expected to be unavailable for the start of the regular season and all of Jauan Jennings (calf), Jacob Cowing (hamstring) and Jordan Watkins (ankle) currently missing time.

  • Tre Harris WR | LAC

Chargers' Tre Harris: Exits with trainers

Harris left Wednesday's practice early with trainers, Kris Rhim of ESPN.com reports.

The rookie likely suffered an injury, though perhaps just a minor one, during Wednesday's practice. He caught six of eight targets for 85 yards in Saturday's preseason loss to the Rams -- a potential springboard to make his move up the depth chart after not much noise on that front during training camp. With Harris and Quentin Johnston (concussion) potentially now missing practice time, rookie fifth-round pick KeAndre Lambert-Smith should get more first-team reps alongside Ladd McConkey and Keenan Allen.

  • Jacob Cowing WR | SF

49ers' Jacob Cowing: Missing practice time again

Cowing isn't practicing Wednesday after suffering a lower-body injury Tuesday, Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Cowing injured his hamstring during the first practice of training camp and was out for nearly three weeks before easing back into action last Tuesday. He's now absent again, with no word so far on whether it's an aggravation of the hamstring pull or a new injury altogether. Either way, the 49ers are hurting for wideout depth, with Cowing, Jauan Jennings (calf), Brandon Aiyuk (knee) and Jordan Watkins (ankle) all absent from practice. Demarcus Robinson is healthy but may soon be suspended, perhaps opening the door for Russell Gage or one of the other depth players to get a lot of snaps early in the season. Cowing is also a candidate if he's able to make it back before Jennings and Aiyuk.

  • Jordan Addison WR | MIN

Vikings' Jordan Addison: Leaves practice early

Addison left Wednesday's practice early with a potential hand/arm injury, Kevin Seifert of ESPN.com reports.

He remained on the practice field as an observer, which is generally indicative of a minor injury. The larger concern for Addison's fantasy value is a three-game suspension to start the season, and it's become a bigger problem for the Vikings now that Justin Jefferson (hamstring) and Jalen Nailor (hand) have been missing practice. Jefferson, at least, seems to be moving in the right direction and gearing up to play Week 1.

  • Cedric Tillman WR | CLE

Browns' Cedric Tillman: Picks up minor thumb injury

Tillman missed Wednesday's practice with a non-serious thumb injury, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

He presumably won't play in Cleveland's preseason finale but should be fine for the regular-season opener against Cincinnati on Sun., Sept. 7. Tillman looks to be the No. 2 wide receiver for Cleveland, although it may end up being a fluid depth chart beyond top target Jerry Jeudy. With Joe Flacco named as the Week 1 starter, there's an opportunity for decent receiving production even if the Browns are unlikely to field an efficient offense.
