  • Woody Marks RB | HOU

Texans' Woody Marks: Returns to action Sunday

Marks (foot) returned to Sunday's game against the Colts, DJ Bien-Aime of ESPN.com reports.

Marks exited the contest after sustaining a foot injury, but he was subsequently able to return to action and reclaim his role in a Week 13 Houston backfield that also includes Nick Chubb.

  • Jaylen Reed SAF | HOU

Texans' Jaylen Reed: Exits with forearm injury

Reed (forearm) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Colts.

Reed left in the second quarter after sustaining a forearm injury attempting to stop a third-down run by Jonathan Taylor. The safety managed to log two total tackles before his untimely exit. The Texans are thin at safety, so other defensive backs like Tremon Smith and Myles Bryant will likely have to fill in if Reed is unable to return.

  • Nick Martin LB | SF

49ers' Nick Martin: Enters concussion protocol

Martin has entered the league's concussion protocol and has been ruled out for the rest of Sunday's game against the Browns, Cam Inman of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

The 49ers are on a bye in Week 14, so Martin will have additional time to progress through and clear the league's concussion protocol before San Francisco's Week 15 clash against Tennessee on Sunday, Dec. 14. The rookie third-rounder has contributed mostly on special teams, but his absence further depletes a 49ers linebacker corps that is without Tatum Bethune (ankle) and Fred Warner (ankle - IR).

  • Trevon Diggs CB | GB

Cowboys' Trevon Diggs: Practice window opens

The Cowboys designated Diggs (concussion/knee) for return from injured reserve Sunday, Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports.

The transaction opens up a 21-day window for the Cowboys to evaluate Diggs during practice, though team owner Jerry Jones already said Friday that he anticipates the veteran cornerback being available for next Thursday's matchup with the Lions, per Jon Machota of The Athletic. Diggs has been out since Week 6 due to a concussion as well as a right knee injury.

  • Sauce Gardner CB | IND

Colts' Sauce Gardner: Won't return Sunday

Gardner (calf) has been ruled out for the rest of Sunday's game against the Texans, Kevin Bowen of 107.5 The Fan Indianapolis reports.

Gardner had to be helped to the locker room early in the first quarter after sustaining a calf injury, which is severe enough that he won't return. Mekhi Blackmon should see more work at outside corner the rest of the way.

  • Ethan Pocic C | BAL

Browns' Ethan Pocic: Back in the game

Pocic (leg) has returned to Sunday's game against the 49ers, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.

The starting center briefly left the game earlier in the first half. Pocic has started all 12 games for the Browns this year.

  • Nick Martin LB | SF

49ers' Nick Martin: Being evaluated for concussion

Martin has exited Sunday's game against the Browns and is being evaluated for a possible concussion, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.

Martin will be analyzed by one of the league's independent neurologists to determine if he can return to the game. Before the linebacker's early exit, he logged one solo tackle.

  • Ethan Pocic C | BAL

Browns' Ethan Pocic: Questionable to return Sunday

Pocic has a leg injury and is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the 49ers, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

The center has started all 12 games for the Browns this year. Luke Wypler is his backup.

  • Ross Matiscik LS | JAC

Jaguars' Ross Matiscik: Leaves with back issue

Matiscik (back) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Titans.

Matiscik may have been injured making a tackle on punt returner Chimere Dike early in the first quarter. DaVon Hamilton has taken over at long snapper and will likely finish the game if Matiscik is unable to return.

  • Justin Reid S | NO

Saints' Justin Reid: Leaves, returns, leaves again

Reid has a knee injury and is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Dolphins, Matthew Paras of The Times-Picayune reports.

The safety tried to return for one play but then had to leave the field again, per Mike Triplett of NewOrleans.Football. Reid had one tackle before exiting. Jordan Howden should see more snaps in his absence.
