  • Davis Mills QB | HOU

Texans' Davis Mills: Returning to backup role

Mills will return to a backup role Sunday in Indianapolis after C.J. Stroud cleared the concussion protocol Friday, Jonathan M. Alexander of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Coach Demeco Ryans made the announcement at the end of Week 13 prep, meaning Mills' time as the Texans' starting quarterback has come to a close for now. In three games spelling Stroud, Mills completed 69 of 116 passes for 719 yards, five touchdowns and one interception and had seven carries for 38 yards and one TD.

  • Kendell Brooks SAF | TEN

Titans' Kendell Brooks: Won't play Sunday

Brooks (concussion) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Jaguars, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.

Brooks appeared to be trending in the right direction ahead of the Week 13 contest, as he upgraded from a DNP on Wednesday to full practice Thursday. However, he's now in line to miss his second consecutive game due to a concussion. While the 25-year-old is sidelined Sunday, expect Kevin Winston to play as the Titans' top reserve free safety.

  • Shy Tuttle DT | WAS

Titans' Shy Tuttle: Sidelined for Week 13

Tuttle (concussion) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Jaguars, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.

Tuttle sustained a concussion in Tennessee's Week 12 loss to the Seahawks and didn't practice Wednesday or Thursday, so it's no surprise that he'll be sidelined Sunday. The veteran defensive tackle has appeared in 10 games this season, tallying 11 total tackles across 152 defensive snaps. T'Vondre Sweat is expected to play as the Titans' lone nose tackle while Tuttle is out Week 13.

  • Titans' Jalyn Armour-Davis: Out for Sunday

Armour-Davis (Achilles) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Jaguars, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.

The fourth-year pro from Alabama downgraded from limited practice Wednesday to a DNP on Thursday, suggesting his Achilles injury worsened throughout the week. Armour-Davis has appeared in nine games for Tennessee this season, recording 32 total tackles and two passes defensed. Kaiir Elam is likely to step in and start as one of the Titans' top boundary cornerbacks while Armour-Davis is sidelined Sunday.

  • Drake Jackson DE | WAS

Commanders' Drake Jackson: Out for Week 13

Jackson (knee) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Broncos, John Keim of ESPN.com reports.

The USC product will not make his 2025 debut Sunday and will remain on the injured reserve list through Week 13. Jackson's last in-game action came with the 49ers in 2023, when he recorded seven total tackles, including 3.0 sacks, and one pass defensed over just eight regular-season games. Once fully healthy, he'll likely operate as one of Washington's top reserve defensive ends.

  • Browns' Adin Huntington: Won't play Sunday

Huntington (quadriceps) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's matchup against the 49ers, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Huntington logged consecutive DNPs to begin the Browns' week of practice after sustaining a quadriceps injury in the Week 12 win over the Raiders, so it's no surprise that he'll be sidelined Sunday. Expect Mike Hall and Shelby Harris to operate as Cleveland's top reserve defensive tackles while Huntington is out Week 13.

  • Buccaneers' Benjamin Morrison: Remains out for Week 13

Morrison (hamstring) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Cardinals, Greg Auman of Fox Sports reports.

Morrison practiced in a limited capacity both Wednesday and Thursday but is now in line to miss his second consecutive game due to a hamstring injury. The 2025 second-round pick from Notre Dame has appeared in just seven games this season, recording 13 total tackles and three passes defensed. While he's sidelined in Week 13, Kindle Vildor could have an expanded role as Tampa Bay's top reserve boundary corner.

  • C.J. Stroud QB | HOU

Texans' C.J. Stroud: Set to return Sunday

Coach Demeco Ryans confirmed Friday that Stroud cleared the concussion protocol and will play Sunday at Indianapolis, Jonathan M. Alexander of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Since suffering a concussion Week 9 against the Broncos, Stroud ceded three consecutive starts to backup Davis Mills, but after logging back-to-back full sessions to begin Week 13 prep and clearly gaining clearance from an independent neurologist, the former will resume leading the Texans offense this weekend. Stroud will be facing a Colts defense Sunday that has given up the seventh-most passing yards (2,905) to opposing quarterbacks in 11 games this season.

  • Rashad Wisdom SAF | TB

Buccaneers' Rashad Wisdom: Won't return Sunday

Wisdom (quadriceps) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Cardinals, Greg Auman of Fox Sports reports.

The UTSA product was a full participant in practice both Wednesday and Thursday, but it now appears he's not ready for in-game action just yet. Expect Kaevon Merriweather to operate as the Buccaneers' top reserve free safety while Wisdom remains sidelined Sunday.

  • Spencer Brown OT | BUF

Bills' Spencer Brown: Out for Sunday

Brown (shoulder) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Steelers, Maddy Glab of the Bills' official site reports.

The Northern Iowa product is now in line to miss his second game this season due to a shoulder injury sustained in the Week 12 loss to the Texans. With both Brown and Dion Dawkins (concussion) sidelined Sunday, Buffalo is expected to start a pair of reserve tackles in Ryan Van Demark and Chase Lundt.
