  • Tyler Owens DB | WAS

Commanders' Tyler Owens: Won't play in Week 5

Owens (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Giants.

A hamstring injury prevented Owens from practicing all week, and his next chance to play is Week 6 against the 49ers on Monday, Oct. 19. Given that Owens, Nick Cross (illness) and Percy Butler (hamstring) have all been ruled out, the only healthy safeties on the Commanders' roster are Jeremy Reaves and Quan Martin.

  • Commanders' Charles Omenihu: Ruled out for Week 5

Omenihu (groin/ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Giants.

Omenihu couldn't practice all week due to groin and ankle injuries, which he picked up against the Colts in Week 4. Shy Tuttle will be the Commanders' top reserve option at defensive end behind Tim Settle and Javon Kinlaw in the absence of Omenihu, whose next chance to play is Week 6 against the 49ers on Monday, Oct. 19.

  • Justin Joly TE | MIA

Dolphins' Justin Joly: Ruled out for Sunday

Joly (concussion) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Bengals.

Joly suffered a concussion after Wednesday's practice and was unable to participate in the Dolphins' Thursday or Friday sessions. The tight end remains in concussion protocol and will not be able to suit up for Sunday's game.

  • Percy Butler SAF | WAS

Commanders' Percy Butler: Won't play against NYG

Butler (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Giants.

Butler was unable to practice all week due to a hamstring injury, which he likely picked up during the Commanders' Week 4 loss to the Colts in London. Nick Cross (illness) and Tyler Owens (hamstring) have also been ruled out, leaving Jeremy Reaves and Quan Martin as the lone healthy safeties on the Commanders' 53-man roster ahead of Sunday's NFC East tilt.

  • Andrew Thomas OT | NYG

Giants' Andrew Thomas: All set for Sunday

Thomas (groin) does not have any injury designation ahead of Sunday's game against the Commanders.

Thomas was a DNP during Wednesday's practice but upgraded to a limited participant Thursday and a full participant Friday. The starting left tackle avoided any injury designation ahead of Sunday's contest and is all set to suit up to protect Jameis Winston as the Giants face the Commanders.

  • Cade Mays C | DET

Lions' Cade Mays: Staying on IR

Mays (wrist) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Cardinals.

Mays' 21-day window to return from injured reserve opened Wednesday, and he was a limited practice participant all week. He's not quite ready to return, but with the Lions on a bye for Week 6, Mays' next chance to play is Week 7 against Green Bay on Sunday, Oct. 25.

  • Jason Pinnock SAF | NYG

Giants' Jason Pinnock: Won't play Sunday

Pinnock (concussion) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Commanders.

Pinnock has been unable to practice since entering the league's concussion protocol during the Giants' Week 4 win over the Cardinals. With Pinnock out, Elijah Campbell is set to be the backup free safety behind Jevon Holland for Sunday's contest.

  • Ben Bartch OT | DET

Lions' Ben Bartch: Won't play Week 5

Bartch (foot) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against Arizona.

A foot injury will prevent Bartch from playing in a third consecutive game. The Lions are on a bye for Week 6, so he'll have additional time to recover ahead of Detroit's Week 7 home tilt against the Packers on Sunday, Oct. 25.

  • Fred Johnson OT | PHI

Eagles' Fred Johnson: Set for Sunday

Johnson (knee) does not have any injury designation ahead of Sunday's game against the Jaguars.

Johnson was a full participant in Friday's practice. The offensive lineman was unable to suit up for Week 4 due to a knee injury but is now all set for Sunday's contest. With Cam Jurgens (concussion) traded to the Ravens, Johnson is now an even more vital part of the Eagles' offensive line depth.

  • Jacob Monk G | GB

Packers' Jacob Monk: Doubtful for Week 5

Monk (quadriceps) is doubtful to play against the Bears on Sunday.

It appears Monk will miss a second consecutive game due to a quad injury that he sustained against the Falcons in Week 3. Aaron Banks (knee/toe) is also listed as doubtful, so the Packers could be light on depth at guard for Sunday's game.
