The Broncos waived Sherfield on Saturday, Mike Klis of 9News Denver reports.

The move comes after the Broncos signed Lil'Jordan Humphrey from the Giants' practice squad to the active roster Wednesday. Sherfield served in a depth role at wide receiver and posted three catches (on four targets) for 21 yards across 10 regular-season games. He could garner interest on the waiver wire from teams looking to add a wide receiver who can also contribute on special teams.

O'Connell (wrist) has been ruled out for Monday's game against Dallas, Anthony Galaviz of The Fresno Bee reports.

Despite being a full participant in practice all week, the Raiders will leave O'Connell on injured reserve for Week 11. His 21-day window to return from IR opened Oct. 29, and if he's not activated from IR before the window closes, he would be required to sit out for the entire 2025 season. Kenny Pickett will serve as Geno Smith's backup quarterback for Monday's home contest.

The Chargers elevated Williams from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday.

Williams will join the Chargers' active roster for a second consecutive game to provide backfield depth for Kimani Vidal for Sunday's game against the Jaguars. Williams played solely on special teams during the Chargers' Week 10 win over the Steelers and returned two kickoffs for 51 yards in that contest, but he could share some backfield rotational snaps with fellow practice squad running back Amar Johnson.

The Chargers elevated Johnson from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday.

It's the second time Johnson has been elevated to the Bolts' active roster this season. He'll be available for Sunday's game against the Jaguars, when he'll join Trayveon Williams as the Chargers' rotational running backs behind Kimani Vidal. Johnson played in Week 9 against the Titans, but he was limited to just three snaps on special teams.

The 49ers waived Martinez on Saturday.

Martinez's services on the 49ers' active roster are no longer needed, as Mac Jones will revert to a backup role for Sunday's game against the Cardinals due to the return of Brock Purdy (toe). Martinez could be brought back by San Francisco on the practice squad, assuming he clears waivers.

The Patriots placed Williams (ankle) on injured reserve Saturday.

The fifth-year defensive tackle suffered a high-ankle sprain during the Patriots' 27-14 win over the Jets, and the injury is severe enough for Williams to go on injured reserve. He'll be required to miss at least the next four games, and with the Patriots on a bye Week 14, that makes Week 17 against the Jets on Sunday, Dec. 28 the earliest he can return from injured reserve. Cory Durden and Eric Gregory are poised for more snaps on the defensive line for as long as Williams is out of action.

The Lions elevated Meeks from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday.

The elevation of Meeks gives the Lions additional depth at wide receiver in case rookie third-rounder Isaac TeSlaa (oblique) is unable to play against the Eagles on Sunday. It's Meeks' second elevation of the season, and during his first appearance against the Browns in Week 4 he played 13 snaps (four on offense, nine on special teams) without showing up in the box score otherwise.

The Lions elevated Kennedy from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday.

Kennedy's elevation gives the Lions depth at wide receiver in case rookie third-rounder Isaac TeSlaa (oblique) is unable to play against the Eagles on Sunday. Kennedy appeared in four regular-season games in 2024, and he gives Detroit another option as a returner on kickoffs and punts.

The Giants elevated Cambre from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

It's the first time Cambre has been elevated to the Giants' active roster this season, and he'll be available for Sunday's game against the Packers. The undrafted rookie gives the Giants an additional return option on punts and an extra option at wide receiver in the absence of Darius Slayton (hamstring).

The Cardinals activated Ojulari (knee) from the reserve/PUP list Saturday, but he is still listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the 49ers, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.

Ojulari has been recovering from a torn ACL that he suffered in August of 2024. While he's still listed as questionable for Week 11, his activation indicates that he should be available to make his 2025 debut in Sunday's NFC West tilt. His return will boost a Cardinals linebacker corps that is without Baron Browning (concussion) and Mack Wilson (ribs - IR).
