Jimmy Holiday WR | KC
Jimmy Holiday: Back with KC
The Chiefs signed Holiday to their practice squad Wednesday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Holiday was released from the Chiefs' practice squad Nov. 4, but he is now back with the team. He has not been elevated to the active roster at any point this season.

Jaire Alexander CB | PHI
Eagles' Jaire Alexander: Placed on reserve/retired list
The Eagles placed Alexander (undisclosed) on the reserve/retired list Wednesday.
Alexander announced his intention to step away from football Tuesday, so this move doesn't come as a surprise. The 28-year-old will focus on getting right physically and mentally, leaving the door open for a potential return to the NFL somewhere down the line.
-
Myles Bryant CB | CLE
Texans' Myles Bryant: Signed to active roster
The Texans signed Bryant to the active roster from their practice squad Wednesday.
Bryant had already been elevated for the maximum three games this season, meaning he would've been unable to play in another matchup without joining the active roster. If Jalen Pitre is unable to clear the league's concussion protocol in time for Sunday's matchup versus the Titans, Bryant would likely step in as the team's starting slot cornerback.

D.J. Reed CB | DET
Lions' D.J. Reed: Returns to practice
Reed (hamstring) was designated to return from injured reserve Wednesday, Tim Twentyman of the Lions' official site reports.
Reed has been sidelined since Week 5 with the hamstring injury and remains on injured reserve. He managed a limited practice Wednesday, which still leaves his status for a Week 11 showdown with the Eagles on Sunday night in question.
-
Antoine Winfield Jr. SAF | TB
Buccaneers' Antoine Winfield: Working through foot injury
Winfield (foot) was a limited participant in Wednesday's walkthrough practice.
Winfield may have picked up the injury during the Bucs' Week 10 loss to the Patriots, when he logged one tackle and one pass defense while playing every single defensive snap. He'll have two more opportunities to practice in full and avoid an injury designation heading into Sunday's road game against the Bills.
-
Patrick Surtain II CB | DEN
Broncos' Patrick Surtain: Still missing practice with pec
Surtain (pectoral) did not participate at practice Wednesday.
Surtain has been sidelined for Denver's last two games because of a pectoral strain he suffered in Week 8 versus the Cowboys, and now his status for Week 11 is in doubt. To give himself a realistic chance to play Sunday versus the Chiefs, he'll probably need to return to practice in some capacity Thursday or Friday.
-
Nate Adkins TE | DEN
Broncos' Nate Adkins: Still unable to practice
Adkins (knee) did not participate at practice Wednesday.
Adkins has sat out Denver's last two contests with a knee injury he suffered in Week 8 versus the Cowboys, and his availability for Week 11 is now in jeopardy. He'll likely have to practice to some extent Thursday or Friday to give himself a chance to suit up Sunday versus the Chiefs.
-
Rakeem Nunez-Roches DT | TB
Giants' Rakeem Nunez-Roches: Still dealing with toe issue
Nunez-Roches (toe) was estimated to be a non-participant in Wednesday's practice, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Nunez-Roches suffered the toe injury in Sunday's loss to the Bears. The Giants only held a walkthrough, so his status for Week 11 should become clearer as the week progresses.
-
Trent Sherfield WR | BUF
Broncos' Trent Sherfield: Nursing toe injury
Sherfield (toe) did not participate at practice Wednesday.
Sherfield was on the field for a season-low 18 total snaps in Week 10 versus the Raiders, which would make sense if he hurt his toe during that contest. He'll probably need to practice in some capacity Thursday or Friday to have a shot to play in Week 11 versus the Chiefs.
