Van Ginkel (neck) is active for Sunday's game against the Lions.

Van Ginkel has missed the past four games due to a neck injury, but he practiced in full during Week 9 prep and will return to action for a divisional showdown in Detroit. The star pass rusher recorded 2.0 sacks in limited action during Week 3 against the Bengals before being knocked out of the contest, and he was a menace last season, notching 11.5 sacks, two interceptions and a fumble recovery. Van Ginkel also has four career defensive touchdowns, two of which came in 2024.

O'Neill (knee) is active for Sunday's game against the Lions.

Despite being listed as questionable, O'Neill was expected to suit up after logging a full practice Friday. However, his effectiveness may be in question. He's been dealing with a knee issue since late September, missing two contests, including last Thursday's blowout loss to the Chargers.

Darrisaw (knee) is active for Sunday's game against the Lions.

After aggravating a knee injury last Thursday against the Chargers, Darrisaw opened Week 9 prep as a full practice participant Wednesday before sitting out Thursday's session. He returned to the field Friday as a limited participant and was given a questionable tag. However, it always appeared like he was going to give it a go against a divisional rival on the road.

Schultz (knee/shoulder) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Broncos.

After not practicing either Wednesday or Thursday, Schultz logged a full practice Friday, which set the stage for him to be available versus Denver. Through seven games thus far, the tight end leads the Texans in catches (32) and is second in targets (40) and receiving yards (308), a production level that keeps him on the fantasy lineup radar in Week 9. Meanwhile, the team is getting WRs Nico Collins (concussion) and Christian Kirk (hamstring) back Sunday, but Schultz should nonetheless continue to see his share of looks from QB C.J. Stroud in the absence of any in-game setbacks. Harrison Bryant is the only other Houston TE active Sunday, with the team having opted to not elevate either Dalton Keene or Luke Lachey from the practice squad.

Flacco (shoulder) is active for Sunday's game against the Bears.

Despite managing just one limited practice throughout the week while recovering from an AC joint sprain in his right shoulder, Flacco was able to throw the football with enough accuracy and velocity for the Bengals to sign off on him playing through the injury. Since being acquired from the Browns on Oct. 7, Flacco has been a high-volume passer in each of his first three games with Cincinnati, registering 45, 47 and 34 pass attempts in those contests. The Bengals may hope to lean on the Chase Brown and Samaje Perine-led ground attack to establish an early lead that will limit the strain on Flacco's shoulder, but the quarterback isn't expected to face any restrictions if Cincinnati is forced into a more pass-heavy game script.

Oliver (biceps) has a chance to return for the first week of the playoffs, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Buffalo coach Sean McDermott confirmed earlier this week that the defensive tackle needs surgery on his torn biceps, per Rapoport. The Bills also still plan to evaluate the trade market as a way to help their struggling run defense. In Oliver's absence, Larry Ogunjobi, Jordan Phillips, DaQuan Jones and Deone Walker will need to take on bigger roles.

Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said Saturday that the Steelers have moved Ramsey exclusively to safety ahead of their Week 9 tilt with the Colts, Alex Kozora of SteelersDepot.com reports.

The Steelers are thin at safety with DeShon Elliott (knee) on injured reserve and Jabrill Peppers (quadriceps) and Chuck Clark (illness) both sidelined for Week 9, so Ramsey -- who had been primarily serving as a slot corner -- will adapt to a new position. Ramsey had previously gotten some exposure to safety during training camp and during the season, so the transition shouldn't prove to be too difficult. Brandin Echols is now in line to serve as the Steelers' top slot corner, while Darius Slay and Joey Porter operate as the team's boundary corners.

Pacheco (knee), who is out for Sunday's game against the Bills, should be back after the Chiefs' Week 10 bye, Tracy Wolfson of CBS Sports reports.

Per Wolfson, coach Andy Reid indicated that Pacheco avoided a serious injury, which gives the running back a chance to return to action Nov. 16 against the Broncos. In his absence Sunday, Kareem Hunt, Brashard Smith and Clyde Edwards-Helaire are expected to carry Kansas City's backfield load, with Elijah Mitchell a candidate to be active versus Buffalo as well.

Smith (back), who is listed questionable for Sunday's matchup versus Buffalo, is expected to play, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Smith dealt with a back issue throughout the week and was given a designation heading into the weekend after he was limited in practices Wednesday and Thursday before upgrading to full activity Friday. The standout right guard sounds like he'll be able to suit up and start in a marquee matchup versus the Bills.

O'Neill, who is questionable to play against the Lions on Sunday due to a knee injury, is likely to suit up, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

O'Neill has been dealing with a knee issue since late September. He's sat out two contests due to the issue, including last Thursday's game against the Chargers, but it appears he'll be back to play against Detroit on Sunday. O'Neill should take on his usual starting role at right tackle.
