Coker is listed as a starting wide receiver on the Panthers' unofficial depth chart.

Despite going undrafted in 2024, Coker has made his presence felt through two pro campaigns, resulting in 65 catches (on 89 targets) for 872 yards and five touchdowns in 22 regular-season games. His defining moment of sorts occurred the last time he was on the field for a contest that counts, when he torched the Rams for 9-134-1 on 12 targets in a wild-card loss. Coker will continue to operate as a complementary option to No. 1 WR Tetairoa McMillan for QB Bryce Young in 2026.

Marshall was signed to Carolina's practice squad Thursday, Darin Gantt of Panthers.com reports.

Marshall went undrafted in 2025 but has been affiliated with the Browns ever since, mostly serving as a member of the team's practice squad. However, he didn't make Cleveland's 53-man roster and was cut Sunday. The 24-year-old most recently appeared in three preseason games for the Browns in 2026, amassing 46 yards off 23 carries while adding six catches for 48 yards and a touchdown. While Marshall still has a way to go before taking the field for a regular-season game, he will get another opportunity to remain in the league in some capacity with the Panthers' practice squad.

The Jets waived Richardson (undisclosed) from injured reserve with an injury settlement Thursday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Richardson went to the Jets' IR after taking five rushes for 13 yards in their preseason finale, but he's now on track to hit free agency. In his last season at Tulsa in 2025, he took 212 carries for 1,065 yards and five touchdowns.

Young will be working with a new play caller in 2026 with offensive coordinator Brad Idzik taking those duties from head coach Dave Canales, Mike Kaye of ESPN.com reports.

Idzik is entering his third year as the Panthers' OC, and the switch in play callers has been described by Young as "aggressive, which is huge for us." The results in two preseason contests were tepid, to say the least, as Young completed eight of 11 passes for 67 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions while directing four drives. Having dynamic second-year WR Tetairoa McMillan at his disposal will help matters once the games begin to count Week 1, but the rest of the skill-position group leaves something to be desired.

Minnesota waived Fleming (undisclosed) from injured reserve with an injury settlement Thursday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Unless he's claimed during the current waiver period, Fleming will become a free agent once again. He boasts intriguing speed (4.44 40-yard dash), but he wasn't especially productive at Tulane.

Okuayinonu (foot) will not travel with the team to Melbourne, Australia ahead of the Week 1 game versus the Rams, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.

Okuayinonu is coming off his best season, as he finished the 2025 campaign with 39 total tackles, including 3.0 sacks, and one forced fumble over 15 regular-season games. While he's not on the initial charter flight with his teammates, Okuayinonu remains listed as questionable, so the door isn't closed concerning his availability for the opener.

The Chargers waived Brown (undisclosed) from injured reserve with an injury settlement Thursday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Brown reverted to the Chargers' IR after going unclaimed on waivers earlier in the week, but he's now on track to become a free agent and seek out another opportunity elsewhere.

The Giants signed Harrison to their practice squad Thursday, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.

Harrison spent 2025 with the Steelers, but he will now rejoin coach John Harbaugh, who he previously played under in Baltimore. Barring injuries, it doesn't seem likely Harrison will see many regular-season snaps any time soon.

Jones (back) participated at practice Thursday, Harold R. Kuntz of Fox 4 News Kansas City reports.

Jones missed Wednesday's session because of a back issue, but it doesn't seem like it was anything major. The three-time All-Pro figures to get as many snaps as he can handle in 2026.

The Jets waived Hulstein (undisclosed) from injured reserve with an injury settlement Thursday.

Hulstein was going to have to spend the entire 2026 season on IR, but he's now in line to hit the free agent market instead. The undrafted rookie suited up for all three of the Jets' preseason games, totaling four receptions for 25 yards.
