Watt had a bounceback performance after having logged just one tackle in the team's Week 7 loss to Cincinnati. The 31-year-old has registered just 4.0 sacks this season, which is well short of his typical output, but he'll look to be more productive during the second half of the season.

Queen tallied three tackles (one solo) during the Steelers' loss to the Packers on Sunday.

Queen was unable to make a major impact on the game despite playing every defensive snap for Pittsburgh. The 26-year-old has struggled in his last two outings, racking up just seven tackles (two solo) over that span. He will look to have a bounceback performance in the team's Week 9 matchup versus the Colts.

The Bills signed Akingbesote to its practice squad Tuesday, Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN reports.

Akingbesote was selected by the Cowboys in the seventh round of the draft in April but was waived in August. With Buffalo likely to be without Ed Oliver (biceps) for the remainder of the regular season, Akingbesote will bolster the organization's depth along the defensive line, though he won't necessarily be in store for an elevation to the 53-man roster right away.

Belton logged seven tackles (four solo) in the Giants' loss to the Eagles on Sunday.

Belton was one of the team's few bright spots during the loss, finishing second in tackles behind Bobby Okereke's eight. Belton benefited from increased playing time with Jevon Holland sidelined with a knee injury, and he could start again next week versus the 49ers if Holland remains out.

Epenesa made four tackles (three solo), including 1.0 sacks, plus one pass defensed, an interception, during Buffalo's blowout win over the Panthers on Sunday.

Epenesa has now racked up 15 tackles (10 solo), including 2.5 sacks, two passes defensed, including one interception, and one fumble recovery across seven regular-season appearances. He'll have a more difficult time bringing down the opposing quarterback against Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs' reliable O-line in Week 9, though that could change if standout guard Trey Smith (back) is unable to suit up for Kansas City.

Bland recorded seven tackles (three solo) during Dallas' loss to Denver on Sunday.

Bland has now racked up five or more tackles in all but one of his last five regular-season appearances. The every-down cornerback will work to keep up his momentum at home against the Cardinals on Monday Night Football in Week 9. Across six regular-season appearances on the year, Bland has tallied 32 tackles (22 solo) and one pass defensed, a pick-six he recorded Week 7 versus Washington.

Mustapha made 12 tackles (six solo) during Sunday's loss to the Texans.

Mustapha played a season-high 100 percent of defensive snaps in Week 8, after having made his debut Week 6 then having his workload jump Week 7. The second-year pro appears to have solidified himself as an every-down player as the 49ers prepare for a Week 9 road matchup against the Giants. That development puts him firmly on the fantasy radar in IDP formats.

Bethune made 14 tackles (four solo) during Sunday's loss to the Texans.

Bethune has now put together three consecutive games with double-digit stops, emerging as San Francisco's most productive linebacker for fantasy purposes in the wake of Fred Warner (ankle) going down for the year. The second-year pro figures to remain busy in Week 9 on the road against a Giants offense that's already lost top playmakers Malik Nabers (knee - ACL) and Cam Skattebo (ankle).

Danna recorded three tackles (one solo), including 1.0 sacks, and an interception during Monday's 28-7 win versus the Commanders.

Danna's interception came in the middle of the first quarter when a screen pass bounced off wideout Deebo Samuel's chest in the red zone, and his sack came late in the third quarter when he ran unblocked right through the middle of Washington's offensive line. He'll look to build on Monday's success in Week 9 at Buffalo.

Al-Shaair recorded four tackles (one solo) during Houston's win over San Francisco on Sunday.

Al-Shaair has now failed to rack up five or more tackles in three of seven regular-season appearances to begin the 2025 campaign, and he's still looking to pick up his first sack of the year. The veteran linebacker has, however, already logged five pass breakups, tying his total from last season. Al-Shaair could be busy attempting to stop the run Week 9 at home against the Broncos.
