The Bears activated Booker (knee) from injured reserve Tuesday.

Booker practiced in full all of Week 8 but wasn't cleared to return in time for Chicago's loss to the Ravens. Now, however, the 2024 fifth-round pick appears on track to make his 2025 debut Sunday on the road against Cincinnati. Booker figures to handle a depth role in Chicago's defensive end rotation behind Montez Sweat and Dayo Odeyingbo.

The Bills placed Oliver (biceps) on injured reserve Tuesday.

Coach Sean McDermott confirmed Oliver needs surgery, but there's a chance he could return during the playoffs should the Bills qualify for the postseason, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. It's a massive loss for the Buffalo defense that has struggled to stop the run this season. Oliver has appeared in just three regular-season games this season, logging 12 tackles (10 solo), including 3.0 sacks. Larry Ogunjobi, Jordan Phillips, DaQuan Jones (calf) and Deone Walker will need to pick up the slack.

Washington is set to have surgery on his ankle, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.

Washington was placed on Baltimore's injured reserve list after Week 3 versus Detroit due to an ankle injury, and now he'll have surgery to address the issue. Coach John Harbaugh said Tuesday that he doesn't know how it will impact his recovery timeline. Until Washington is back in football shape, John Jenkins should be expected to continue to see increased work on the defensive line.

James (ankle) participated in Tuesday's practice, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports.

James was diagnosed with a low ankle sprain following the Chargers' Week 8 win over the Vikings. The Chargers will release their first official practice report of the week Wednesday, and his participation during that session will provide a sense of his chances of playing against the Titans on Sunday. James has logged 49 tackles (28 solo), including 1.5 sacks, and three pass defenses (one interception) through eight regular-season games.

The Cardinals cut Johnson from the practice squad Tuesday.

Johnson had been elevated for Arizona's loss to the Packers in Week 7, a contest in which he logged one carry for zero yards while playing 14 snaps on offense. For Johnson to now be cut from the practice squad could be a sign that Emari Demercado (ankle) is on track to retake the field in time to face the Cowboys in Week 9.

The Chargers released Hines from their practice squad Tuesday.

The Chargers had already used their maximum three elevations to the active roster on Hines this season, and rather than promoting him permanently, they decided to cut ties. In his three appearances this year, he recorded two carries for negative two yards.

The Rams signed Scott to the practice squad Tuesday.

Scott was cut from the Seahawks' practice squad Friday, but he'll remain in the NFC West after the Rams picked him up. It's the fourth team that he'll be a member of since participating in Chicago's training camp, and he has yet to appear in a regular-season game in 2025. The third-year wideout appeared in 11 regular-season games for the Bears in 2024 and logged one catch for five yards while also playing on special teams.

Arizona cut Green from the practice squad Tuesday.

Green rejoined Arizona's practice squad mid-October after having spent time with the team during training camp, but the undrafted rookie will now once again become a free agent. He'll be a candidate to resurface as a member of the Cardinals' practice squad at a later date.

Reynolds (hamstring) was not available for team drills during Detroit's practice Tuesday, Colton Pouncy of The Athletic reports.

Reynolds suffered a hamstring injury during the first half in Week 7 versus the Buccaneers, and even with the benefit of a Week 8 bye, it's still bothering him as the Lions begin preparations for Week 9. His participation at practice will be worth noting when Detroit publishes its first official practice report of the week Wednesday.

Arizona designated Williams (knee) for return from its injured reserve list Tuesday, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.

Williams missed the Cardinals' last five games leading up to their Week 8 bye due to a knee injury he suffered in Week 2 versus the Panthers, but it now looks like he could be on track to play again soon. His name will be worth looking out for when Arizona releases its first official practice report of the week Thursday.
