Alt (ankle) was a limited participant at practice Tuesday.

When asked by reporters if he would play Thursday versus the Vikings, Alt said, "that's the plan," per Kris Rhim of ESPN.com. He could do himself a huge favor on that front by practicing in full Wednesday -- otherwise, he'll likely be carrying an injury designation into gameday in Week 8.

Dye (thumb) was a limited participant in practice Tuesday.

Dye missed this past Sunday's loss to the Colts due to a thumb issue after being unable to practice all last week. It's promising that he was deemed limited on Monday's practice estimation this week and was then able to practice in a limited fashion Tuesday, though his status is still uncertain for Thursday's matchup against Minnesota. If Dye is able to play against the Vikings, he'll likely be used in a rotational role now that Denzel Perryman is back in action.

Taylor-Demerson recorded six tackles (two solo) during Sunday's 27-23 loss versus the Packers.

Taylor-Demerson made the most of his season-low 22 defensive snaps in Week 7, tallying six-plus tackles for the second time this year. He'll try to keep the positive momentum rolling through the Cardinals' bye in Week 8 and into a matchup at Dallas in Week 9.

Molden (thumb) was a limited participant in practice Tuesday.

Molden was also deemed limited in Monday's practice estimation. The veteran safety hurt his thumb in Week 6 against Miami and didn't play this past Sunday against Indianapolis, but it appears he has a chance of returning to action Thursday versus Minnesota. However, if Molden can't suit up against the Vikings, RJ Mickens will likely again get an elevated role on defense.

Haskins (hamstring) was a non-participant in practice Tuesday.

Haskins has gone down as a non-participant on both of the Chargers' first two Week 8 practice reports, and head coach Jim Harbaugh acknowledged earlier Tuesday that the running back is unlikely to play Thursday versus Minnesota. Assuming Haskins is officially ruled out following Wednesday's session, Kimani Vidal would be in line to lead the Los Angeles backfield Thursday, while Nyheim Hines, Jaret Patterson and/or Trayveon Williams could be elevated from the practice squad to provide depth.

Thompson recorded four tackles (three solo) and a pass defensed during Sunday's 27-23 loss versus the Packers.

Thompson recorded a season-low 53 defensive snaps in Week 7, as Green Bay took a methodical offensive approach, and his tackle total was predictably a bit depressed. Those counting on him for IDP production will hope he gets more chances in Week 9 at Dallas after the Cardinals' bye in Week 8.

Muasau finished Sunday's loss to the Broncos with six tackles (three solo).

Muasau tied for third on New York in tackles in the defeat. He logged his biggest workload of the campaign, posting a 90 percent defensive snap share. The second-year linebacker has posted 26 tackles, including 1.0 sacks, through six games this season.

Wilson recorded three tackles (three solo) during Sunday's 27-23 loss versus the Packers.

Wilson was on the field for all 53 of Arizona's defensive snaps Sunday but that was still a season-low count for him, and his tackle total was also a season low. The Cardinals have a bye coming up in Week 8, so his next chance to get back on track will come in a Week 9 tilt at Dallas.

Williams registered eight tackles (three solo) during the Jets' 13-6 loss to the Panthers.

Williams finished Sunday's game as the second-leading tackler behind teammate Jamien Sherwood (10). Williams' eight stops were a season high and tied his career best from Week 9 of the 2021 season. The seventh-year defensive tackle is up to 31 tackles (16 solo), including 1.0 sacks, and three forced fumbles through the first seven games of the regular season.

Phillips posted nine tackles (all solo) in Sunday's loss to the Broncos.

Phillips finished second on New York in stops behind Dane Belton (10). It was the second-highest tackle total of the season for Phillips, trailing just his Week 2 effort of 11 stops against Dallas. Phillips is up to 37 tackles and eight defensed passes (including two interceptions) through seven games this season.
