Vidal carried the ball 18 times for 124 yards and also caught three of his four targets for 14 yards and a touchdown in the 29-27 win over the Dolphins on Sunday.

Despite reports earlier this week Vidal and Hassan Haskins would be a part of a committee, the second-year back proved definitively he was the more explosive player by tallying 138 total yards on 21 touches to Haskins' 23 yards on seven opportunities. Omarion Hampton (ankle) is expected to be out at least a month, and while the Chargers have reportedly been sniffing around available options according to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport, Vidal's massive outing might quiet the trade calls for another week. It's worth noting Miami's run defense is one of the worst in the league, and it should be tougher sledding at home against the Colts next week.

Head coach John Harbaugh said Smith (hamstring) is expected to make his return during Baltimore's Week 8 matchup versus the Bears, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.

Smith has been sidelined for the past two games and will now have the team's upcoming bye week to work his way back to full health. The 28-year-old has racked up 34 tackles (24 solo) across four outings this season.

Colts head coach Shane Steichen said that Richardson suffered an orbital eye fracture while warming up prior to Sunday's 31-27 win over the Cardinals, Kevin Bowen of 107.5 The Fan Indianapolis reports.

Richardson sustained the injury while working out with elastic bands prior to the contest and was made inactive for the Week 6 game, and he could be at risk of missing additional time, per Stephen Holder of ESPN.com. Rookie Riley Leonard backed up starter Daniel Jones in Sunday's win and could be headed for a multi-game run as the Colts' No. 2 quarterback.

Coach Sean McVay said Nacua suffered an ankle injury during Sunday's 17-3 win at Baltimore, and the wide receiver's status for next Sunday's game against the Jaguars in London is unknown, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.

Nacua initially sustained the injury with about 10 minutes left in the second quarter after he had his left foot rolled up on while attempting to break up a jump ball in the end zone. After going to the locker room, the Rams deemed him questionable to return, but he was able to check back in on the team's second possession after halftime. However, Nacua wasn't able to add to his first-half line (2-28-0 on three targets) after his return. L.A. will resume practicing Wednesday, by which point the Rams could have more clarity on the nature and severity of Nacua's ankle issue.

Coach John Harbaugh noted after Sunday's loss to the Rams that Jackson (hamstring) is expected to return to action in Week 8, following the Ravens' bye, Ryan Mink of the team's official site reports.

Jackson has missed Baltimore's last two games, but Harbaugh indicated Sunday that his hope and expectation is that the star QB will be available for the team's Oct. 26 game against the Bears. The looming return of Jackson, among others, in Week 8 offers hope that a turnaround can be engineering by the Ravens, who head into their bye week with a 1-5 record. Either way, if Jackson is healthy, he belongs in fantasy lineups.

Simmons is expected to miss Sunday's game versus the Lions due to personal reasons, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.

Simmons was a late addition to the injury report and is now set to miss his first game of the season. In his expected absence, Jaylon Moore will likely start at left tackle for the Chiefs.

Larvadain (head) is questionable to return to Cleveland's matchup versus the Steelers on Sunday.

Larvadain exited the game after taking a big hit from DeShon Elliott. If Larvadain can't return, Jamari Thrash and Malachi Corley should see increased playing time for the remainder of the game.

Conklin (concussion) has been ruled out for the remainder of Cleveland's matchup versus the Steelers on Sunday.

Conklin exited the game in the third quarter and is now in the league's concussion protocol. KT Leveston has taken over as the team's right tackle with Conklin sidelined.

Njoku was forced out of Sunday's game against the Steelers with a thigh injury.

Prior to his exit, Njoku caught three of his six targets for 28 yards. In his absence, Harold Fannin will lead the Browns' TE corps versus Pittsburgh, with Blake Whiteheart available to mix in.

Conklin (concussion) is questionable to return to Cleveland's matchup versus the Steelers on Sunday, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Conklin went to the locker room in the third quarter and is currently being evaluated for a concussion. With the 31-year-old sidelined, KT Leveston is in at right tackle for the Browns.
