  • Hassan Haskins RB | LAC

Chargers' Hassan Haskins: Gets involved after Dobbins' injury

Haskins took one carry for three yards during Monday's 30-23 loss versus the Ravens.

After regular starter J.K. Dobbins suffered an MCL sprain, Haskins was able to pace Chargers running backs in terms of snaps in Week 12. With that said, his one carry lagged far behind Gus Edwards' nine. He projects to rotate with rookie sixth-rounder Kimani Vidal behind Edwards when the Chargers travel to Atlanta in Week 13.

  • Raiders' Aidan O'Connell: Named Week 13 starter

Raiders head coach Antonio Pierce said Wednesday that O'Connell (thumb) will start Friday's game at Kansas City, Levi Edwards of the Raiders' official site reports.

The Raiders listed O'Connell as a full practice participant Tuesday, one day after designating him from return from injured reserve. Las Vegas apparently plans to activate him from IR before Friday's game and put him back in the starting role. O'Connell took the job from Gardner Minshew (collarbone) going into Week 6, but then suffered a fractured thumb on his throwing hand in his second start in Week 7. Minshew has started each subsequent game, with Desmond Ridder subbing in a couple of times, including this past Sunday against Denver when Minshew suffered a season-ending injury.

  • Marvin Mims WR | DEN

Broncos' Marvin Mims: Makes three grabs in win

Mims caught three of his five targets for 44 yards, took two carries for negative-two yards, and returned a punt for 22 yards during Sunday's 29-19 win at Las Vegas.

Mims played only 16 of the Broncos' 65 offensive snaps in Week 12, but he was still able to get five touches. He now has at least five touches in all of his last three games, but his relegation to a gadget role makes him hard to trust in fantasy lineups when Denver hosts the Browns in Week 13.

  • DeVonta Smith WR | PHI

Eagles' DeVonta Smith: Sits out practice Wednesday

Smith (hamstring) was held out of Wednesday's practice, Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.

Smith hasn't logged any on-field work since playing 89 percent of snaps during a Week 11 win against the Commanders in which he hauled in four of six targets for 29 yards. So far, he's missed one game as a result of a hamstring injury, and his lack of activity to begin Week 13 prep isn't a great sign as the Eagles ramp up for Sunday's road showdown with the Ravens. Smith's listing on Eagles practice reports Thursday and Friday will be more revealing toward his chances to return to action this weekend.

  • Xavier Legette WR | CAR

Panthers' Xavier Legette: Four catches in close loss

Legette caught four of his six targets for 56 yards during Sunday's 30-27 loss versus the Chiefs.

Despite pacing Carolina's wide receivers in snaps in Week 12, Legette's six targets lagged behind teammate David Moore (10). His struggles reeling in targets also continued, as he dropped a well-placed deep ball from Bryce Young late in the fourth quarter. The Panthers will host a poor Buccaneers defense in Week 13.

  • Michael Pierce DT | BAL

Ravens' Michael Pierce: Designated for return

Pierce (calf) was designated to return from injured reserve by Baltimore on Wednesday.

Pierce's 21-day practice window is now open after he missed the Ravens' past four games while on injured reserve. The big-bodied nose tackle will further bolster an already strong Ravens run defense once he returns to the lineup.

  • Chiefs' Isiah Pacheco: Looks likely to play Friday

Chiefs head coach Andy Reid confirmed Wednesday that Pacheco (ankle) will play Friday against the Raiders unless he suffers a setback this week, Adam Teicher of ESPN.com reports.

Listed as a limited participant in each practice the past two weeks, Pacheco upgraded to full participation Tuesday and now is expected to get activated from injured reserve and play for the first time since Week 2. Reid hasn't said if Pacheco is likely to get his usual workload Friday or if he'll yield touches to Kareem Hunt, who served as the Chiefs' lead back during Pacheco's absence.

  • D.J. Davidson DT | NYG

Giants' D.J. Davidson: Good to go Thursday

Davidson (shoulder) does not carry an injury designation ahead of Thursday's game at Dallas.

Davidson was limited at practice during the week due to a shoulder issue, but it won't hold him out of game action in Week 13. He should resume his regular rotational role on the defensive line Thursday.

  • Panthers' Ja'Tavion Sanders: No practice Wednesday

Sanders (neck) isn't practicing Wednesday, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.

Sanders endured a scary situation this past Sunday versus the Chiefs, when he was tackled low at the end of a 10-yard catch and run and landed on his neck. He was placed on a backboard before being carted off the field and taken to a Charlotte-area hospital, but he was discharged not long after the game. On Monday, head coach Dave Canales told Mike Kaye of The Charlotte Observer that Sanders avoided a serious injury, but the rookie right end won't take part in any drills to begin Week 13 prep. Sanders' listing on practice reports Thursday and Friday may be telling for his odds to play Sunday against the Buccaneers.

  • Evan Neal OT | NYG

Giants' Evan Neal: Will play Thursday

Neal (hip) does not carry an injury designation ahead of Thursday's game at Dallas.

Neal missed practice Monday and was limited at practice Tuesday and Wednesday due to a hip issue, but he'll be available for the Giants in Week 13 anyway. He figures to start at right tackle against the Cowboys.
