The Browns waived Wilson on Sunday, James Palmer of The Athletic reports.

Wilson was facing an uphill battle to earn a roster spot after signing with Cleveland as an undrafted free agent in May. The 22-year-old will now look to find a new opportunity with another team, where he could add value both on offense and special teams.

The Chargers waived Johnson on Sunday, Matt Zenitz of CBSSports.com reports.

Johnson participated in all three preseason games for the Chargers, rushing 15 times for 53 net yards and two touchdowns. The running back also added two receptions for 68 yards over the three-game span. Johnson will now be subject to waivers. If the 23-year-old goes unclaimed, he will become a free agent able to sign with any franchise that covets additional running back depth.

The Panthers waived Mitchell on Sunday, Mike Kaye of ESPN.com reports.

Mitchell had a strong camp and a solid preseason, catching eight passes for 42 yards over four preseason contests with the Panthers. The tight end will now be subject to waivers, and if he goes unclaimed, there is a strong possibility he ends up back with the Panthers on the practice squad.

Abanikanda was waived by the Cowboys on Sunday, Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports.

Abanikanda was selected in the fifth round of the 2023 NFL Draft by the Jets. He appeared in six regular-season games for New York as a rookie, accumulating 70 yards off 22 carries while catching seven passes for 43 yards. The 23-year-old most recently signed with the Cowboys on a reserve/future deal in January, and while Dallas waived him Sunday, there's still a chance he could be brought back as a member of the practice squad.

Marshall spent part of last season on Cleveland's practice squad but didn't appear in any games. The 24-year-old will now look to catch on with another team, where he could contribute as a depth running back.

The Broncos waived Ross on Sunday, Chris Tomasson of The Denver Gazette reports.

Ross signed with the Broncos in early May as an undrafted free agent out of Virginia. The wide receiver participated in all three preseason games, catching five of his six targets for 29 yards. Ross will now be subject to waivers. If the 25-year-old goes unclaimed, the Broncos would like him to rejoin the team on the practice squad.

The Cardinals are placing Conner (foot) on injured reserve with a designation to return, John Gambadoro of Arizona Sports 98.7 FM Phoenix reports.

Conner continues to deal with complications from the foot injury that ended his 2025 campaign Week 3 of last season. Initially, when Arizona didn't place him on the active/PUP list at the start of training camp, it was an indication that he had a chance to be available for Week 1. Instead, Conner will be required to miss at least the first four games following this transaction. Considering rookie third overall pick Jeremiyah Love's status is up in the air due to a high-ankle sprain, Tyler Allgeier may be the team's lead runner in the early going, with Bam Knight backing him up.

Dell (knee) will begin the season on IR with a designation to return, Jonathan M. Alexander of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Dell continues to work his way back from the serious knee injury he suffered in December 2024. The promising news is that the wideout has progressed to working in team drills and is being allowed to progress at his own pace. Dell's placement on IR means he'll need to sit out at least the first four games of the regular season, but the designation to return means he's expected to suit up at some point in 2026.

Larvadain served as the team's punt returner last season but lost out on that role to Isaiah Bond for the upcoming campaign. The 2025 undrafted free agent could be a candidate to land on Cleveland's practice squad should he go unclaimed on waivers.

The Chargers waived Desrosiers on Sunday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Desrosiers participated in all three preseason games for the Chargers, logging 23 rushes for 166 yards and a touchdown. The undrafted free agent out of Memphis had a stellar preseason finale against the Rams on Thursday, accumulating 118 of his 166 total preseason rushing yards in the contest. If the running back can clear waivers, the Chargers plan to bring him back to the team on the practice squad.
