Cooper Rush QB | ATL
Ravens' Cooper Rush: Drawing start in Week 5
Rush is slated to start at quarterback in Sunday's game against the Texans, Brian Wacker of The Baltimore Sun reports.
With Lamar Jackson (hamstring) set to miss his first game for injury-related reasons since 2022, Rush will step in to make his first start as a member of the Ravens. Over his previous eight seasons in the league, Rush made 38 appearances and 14 starts for the Cowboys, completing 60.7 percent of his passes for 6.4 yards per attempt and a 20:10 TD:INT. Though Rush has been capable as a game manager when called upon to start, he brings little running upside to the table, thereby limiting much of his appeal as a fantasy option. In order to ease the burden on Rush in his first start of 2025, the Ravens could favor a run-heavy game plan led by Derrick Henry so long as the contest remains competitive.

Lamar Jackson QB | BAL
Ravens' Lamar Jackson: Ruled out for Sunday
Jackson (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Texans.
After being forced out of this past Sunday's 37-20 loss to Kansas City, Jackson was unable to practice in any fashion this week. Now that he's officially been deemed out for Sunday's contest, Cooper Rush is slated to start in his place. Jackson's next chance to play will arrive Week 6 against the Rams on Oct. 12, though Brian Wacker of The Baltimore Sun previously reported Tuesday that Baltimore is bracing for a 2-to-3-week absence from the two-time league MVP. The Ravens have a bye coming up Week 7, so it may be a prudent approach for the team to hold Jackson out for the next two games to ensure he makes a full recovery from the hamstring injury and is ready to go for the second half of the season.

Zay Jones WR | HOU
Cardinals' Zay Jones: Out of concussion protocol
Jones (concussion) doesn't have a designation for Sunday's game versus the Titans, Zach Gershman of the Cardinals' official site reports.
Jones sat out Week 4 against the Seahawks due to a concussion, but after following up Wednesday's limited practice with back-to-back uncapped sessions, he's progressed enough to gain clearance from an independent neurologist. He'll slot back in as Arizona's No. 3 WR behind Marvin Harrison and Michael Wilson on Sunday, but Jones has put together just a 3-29-0 line on four targets in three appearances this season.

Calvin Ridley WR | TEN
Titans' Calvin Ridley: Questionable after limited practice
Ridley (knee/elbow) was limited in his return to practice Friday.
After logging back-to-back DNPs Wednesday and Thursday, Ridley was able to work in a limited capacity Friday before being deemed questionable for Sunday's 4:05 p.m. ET contest against the Cardinals. Look for added context regarding the wideout's status to arrive late Saturday or early Sunday via national reporters like ESPN's Adam Schefter and NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, but if Ridley is limited or out this weekend, WRs Tyler Lockett, Chimere Dike and Van Jefferson could see added Week 5 opportunities alongside Elic Ayomanor.

Dallas Goedert TE | PHI
Eagles' Dallas Goedert: Clear for Week 5
Goedert (knee) was a full practice participant Friday and doesn't have a designation for Sunday's game against the Broncos.
Goedert sat out Week 2 at Kansas City due to a knee sprain and then wasn't able to practice Wednesday due to a knee injury. However, he progressed from that DNP to a limited showing Thursday and then handled every rep to end Week 5 prep, thereby clearing him for Sunday's contest. Over the last two games, Goedert has put together a 5-70-3 line on six targets.
-
Bryce Oliver WR | HOU
Titans' Bryce Oliver: Ruled out for Sunday
Oliver (knee) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Cardinals, John Glennon of NashvillePost.com reports.
The 25-year-old is now in line to miss his third consecutive game due to a knee injury sustained in the Titans' Week 2 loss to the Rams. While Oliver remains sidelined Sunday, Julius Chestnut is likely to serve as one of the team's top kick returners.
-
Michael Pittman WR | PIT
Colts' Michael Pittman: Ready for Week 5
Pittman (hamstring) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Raiders after returning to a full practice Friday.
Pittman was added to the Colts' Week 5 injury report Thursday after being limited by a hamstring issue. However, the wideout worked fully a day later, which paves the way for him to remain a key receiving target for QB Daniel Jones this weekend. In a 27-20 loss to the Rams last Sunday, Pittman caught five passes on a team-high 10 targets for 41 yards and a touchdown, while recording a 93 percent snap share. With fellow WR Alec Pierce (concussion) out for the second straight contest, look for Pittman to remain busy this weekend.

K'Lavon Chaisson LB | WAS
Patriots' K'Lavon Chaisson: Could play Sunday
Chaisson (knee) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Bills, Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site reports.
Chaisson opened the Patriots' week of practice with a DNP, but he upgraded to a limited session Thursday, suggesting he's trending toward playing in Sunday's affair. However, if the former first-round pick is unable to suit up in Week 5, Elijah Ponder is likely to see increased reps with the Patriots' first-team defense.
-
Carlton Davis III CB | NE
Patriots' Carlton Davis: Questionable for Week 5
Davis (illness) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Bills, Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site reports.
The veteran corner popped up on the Patriots' injury report Thursday as a limited practice participant due to an illness, but he's still got a chance to suit up Sunday. Davis has had a solid start to his first season in New England, recording 10 total tackles and two passes defended through four games. If he's sidelined in Week 5, Charles Woods is likely to start as an outside cornerback.
-
Milton Williams DT | NE
Patriots' Milton Williams: Questionable for Sunday
Williams (ankle) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Bills, Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site reports.
Williams downgraded from a limited practice session Wednesday to a DNP on Thursday, suggesting he's trending in the wrong direction ahead of Sunday. The first-year Patriot has tallied nine total tackles, including 2.0 sacks, through his first four games in New England. If he's sidelined for the Week 5 contest, Cory Durden is likely to star on the Patriots' defensive line.
