Scott was waived by the Vikings on Sunday, Alec Lewis of The Athletic reports.

Scott spent most of his rookie season as the third option on the team's running back depth chart behind Aaron Jones and Jordan Mason. Those two veterans remain in Minnesota, but it looks like rookie fifth-round pick Demond Claiborne has usurped Scott's role as a depth option in Minnesota. The Vikings may be interested in retaining Scott on the practice squad if he passes through waivers unclaimed.

The Bengals waived Kattus on Sunday, Tom Pelissero of Netflix reports.

Kattus was unable to impress enough to earn a spot on Cincinnati's roster after having signed with the team as an undrafted free agent in May. The 22-year-old will now look to find a new opportunity with another team.

Johnson was waived by the Packers on Sunday, Bill Huber of SI.com reports.

The wide receiver landed on Green Bay's practice squad in January and then signed another deal with the team in August, but he was not able to find a spot in a crowded receiver room led by Christian Watson, Jayden Reed and Matthew Golden. Johnson caught four passes for 52 yards and two touchdowns in Green Bay's preseason finale against Arizona, helping the Packers overcome an 11-point deficit. The Western Kentucky product, who went undrafted in 2025, should at least get a practice-squad shot with Green Bay or another team.

The Bengals waived Moore on Sunday, Tom Pelissero of Netflix reports.

Moore spent last season on Cincinnati's practice squad before signing a reserve/future contract with the team in January but was unable to earn a spot on the final roster. The 24-year-old could be a candidate to return to the practice squad if he clears waivers.

Gabriel will make Cleveland's 53-man roster, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN reports.

Gabriel took a back seat to Deshaun Watson and Shedeur Sanders for most of the preseason as those two QBs engaged in a competition that culminated in Watson being named the Week 1 starter. Gabriel finally got a chance to start a preseason game in the finale and made the most of his opportunity with a trio of passing touchdowns. The 2025 third-round pick will begin the regular season as the third option on a Browns QB depth chart that may also include rookie sixth-round pick Taylen Green, whom Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports the Browns are hoping to keep on the roster as well.

Ogunbowale was released by Las Vegas on Sunday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

After signing with the Raiders earlier in August, Ogunbowale has failed to make the 53-man roster. The veteran running back had been competing for a depth role, but it looks like the Raiders are content to roll with the younger Mike Washington and Dylan Laube as their backfield depth options behind Ashton Jeanty (ankle), even with Jeanty's status for Week 1 still uncertain.

Patterson was waived by the Buccaneers on Sunday, Greg Auman of Fox Sports reports.

The wide receiver and Tampa Bay local from Steinbrenner High School signed with the Bucs as an undrafted free agent out of Georgia Tech in May, and caught six passes for 56 yards during a preseason game against Kansas City and generally impressed with his route-running ability. Tampa just has a deep receiver room led by Emeka Egbuka, Chris Godwin and Jalen McMillan. Patterson will likely join the Bucs' practice squad unless he's claimed by another team, per Auman.

The Buccaneers waived Culp on Sunday, Greg Auman reports.

Culp, drafted in the seventh round of the 2024 NFL Draft, spent his first two seasons in Tampa Bay, where he caught six passes for 94 yards and one touchdown. The 26-year-old is expected to return to the Buccaneers' practice squad if he isn't claimed by another team.

Meyers has made the Bengals' initial 53-man roster, Charlie Clifford of NBC 5 Cincinnati reports.

Meyers signed with the Bengals in January after spending the previous two years in the Canadian Football League with the Saskatchewan Roughriders. The 26-year-old wide receiver is expected to fill a depth role on offense and is an option as a return man on special teams.

The Browns would like to keep Green on the 53-man roster if they can fit him, Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Green is fourth on the team's quarterback depth chart behind Deshaun Watson, Shedeur Sanders and Dillon Gabriel. Green, a mobile rookie sixth-round pick out of Arkansas, is raw as a passer but has intriguing rushing upside. Cleveland would have to cut or make an injury move with one of the players ahead of Green or carry four quarterbacks to keep him on the roster, which could leave the Browns shorthanded in depth at another position.
