Washington was waived by the Dolphins on Sunday, Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports.

The running back signed with Miami in May with a chance to compete for the No. 4 running back spot behind De'Von Achane, Jaylen Wright and Ollie Gordon, but he averaged just 2.3 yards per carry across 16 preseason touches. Washington saw action in one regular-season game in each of the last two seasons with Atlanta, though he has yet to receive a regular-season carry.

Hand has missed most of training camp due to a leg injury, Marc Raimondi of ESPN.com reports.

It's unknown how severe the injury is, but questions concerning Hand's health arose after Atlanta acquired Gervon Dexter from Chicago on Sunday. Hand, the 2018 No. 114 overall pick, has bounced around the NFL since being drafted, making stops in Detroit, Miami and Los Angeles (Chargers), where he most recently appeared in 13 regular-season games and amassed 29 total tackles and 1.5 sacks during the 2025-26 campaign. Until there is a definitive update, the 30-year-old should at least be considered day-to-day.

Jacksonville cut Mullens on Sunday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.

Mullens appeared set to work as Trevor Lawrence's backup this season, but that changed when the Jaguars traded with Miami for Quinn Ewers on Saturday. Mullens has extensive NFL experience -- including 20 career regular-season starts -- so he could be an attractive option for another team looking to fill out its QB room with a veteran signal-caller.

Green Bay traded McCord to the Dolphins on Sunday in exchange for a 2028 sixth-round draft pick, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

McCord had a strong preseason with the Packers, completing 65.7 percent of his 70 passes for 446 yards with a 4:0 TD:INT over three games. However, Green Bay already has a reliable backup to Jordan Love in veteran Tyrod Taylor, so the organization opted to get something back for McCord rather than risk losing him on waivers. Now that he's with Miami, McCord will fill the team's No. 2 QB role behind Malik Willis after the Dolphins traded Quinn Ewers to Jacksonville on Saturday and waived both Cam Miller and Mark Gronowski early Sunday. That puts McCord in a better position to make an impact in fantasy, though his opportunity for playing time is entirely dependent on Willis' health and performance.

Miller was drafted by the Raiders in the sixth round of the 2025 NFL Draft. However, he eventually was signed by the Dolphins from Las Vegas' practice squad in January 2026. Miller could draw interest from a few teams looking for depth, though he isn't expected to suit up for a regular-season game anytime soon. The 25-year-old spent his collegiate career at North Dakota State, most recently throwing for 3,251 yards, 33 touchdowns and four interceptions in 2024. He also had 145 carries for 631 yards and 12 touchdowns on the run.

Phillips (triceps/illness) was traded to the Bears from the Falcons on Sunday, Ian Rapoport of ESPN and NFL Network reports.

Phillips was selected as the No. 113 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. His best season came in 2024-25, when he totaled 35 tackles and had one interception. However, he was limited to one regular-season appearance during the 2025-26 campaign due to injuries. In the trade, the Bears will also receive a fifth-round pick, while the Falcons will receive defensive tackle Gervon Dexter.

Myers went 1-for-2 on field-goal attempts and missed his lone PAT in Friday's 9-9 preseason tie against the Chiefs.

Myers converted a 46-yard attempt in the first quarter but missed a PAT in the fourth quarter to keep Seattle's lead at 9-6. After the Chiefs tied the game, Myers missed an opportunity to give the Seahawks their only win of the preseason by pushing a 52-yard field-goal attempt wide right on the final play of the game. Myers missed his only field-goal attempt in Seattle's preseason opener against the Cowboys and went 1-for-2 on field-goal attempts while missing a PAT in the Seahawks' second preseason game. His preseason inaccuracy represents a significant departure from Myers' strong performance during the 2025 regular season, when he converted 41 of his league-high 48 field-goal attempts.

Marshall was released by the Dolphins on Sunday, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.

Marshall, the No. 59 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, has spent most of his career in Carolina, but he most recently saw action in Las Vegas during the 2024 campaign. In 43 regular-season games with the Panthers and Raiders, the 26-year-old has 67 catches (on 116 targets) for 808 yards and one touchdown. Marshall will presumably draw interest from a few NFL teams, though he likely won't see consistent action even if he lands with a new club.

Kittle (Achilles) is expected to practice this week as he continues his push to play in the 49ers' season opener against the Rams in Australia, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

With Kittle having been activated from the active/PUP list last Sunday and reportedly avoiding setbacks in his recovery from a torn Achilles, he appears to be trending in the right direction for Week 1. His practice workload this week should offer the clearest indication yet of whether San Francisco's starting tight end will be ready for the opener. Should Kittle indeed be able to suit up versus the Rams, it would mean he'd return to game action almost exactly eight months after he tore his Achilles on Jan. 11 in a wild-card win over Philadelphia.

Roberts was released by Pittsburgh on Sunday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Roberts has appeared in 157 regular season games during his career, making stops in New England, Miami, Pittsburgh and Las Vegas, totaling 694 tackles, 14.5 sacks and five forced fumbles. He recently agreed to a one-year deal to return to the Steelers. Instead, he is now free to test the market in search of a new team.
