Dprimer signed with the Patriots in early May as an undrafted free agent out of North Texas. The wide receiver played in all three preseason contests for the team, catching four of his five targets for 37 yards. Dorner will now be subject to waivers through Monday due to Sunday's cutdown day. If the 22-year-old goes unclaimed, he will become a free agent able to sign with any team's 53-man roster or practice squad.

The Buccaneers waived Fletcher on Saturday, Greg Auman of Fox Sports reports.

Fletcher signed with the Buccaneers in early May as an undrafted free agent out of Rutgers. The tight end played just eight offensive snaps in Friday night's preseason finale against the Jaguars, receiving no targets in the contest. Fletcher will remain on waivers through Monday due to Sunday's cutdown day. If the 22-year-old goes unclaimed, he will become a free agent able to sign with any franchise's 53-man roster or practice squad.

DeGennaro will be subject to waivers through Monday due to Sunday's cutdown day. If the 25-year-old goes unclaimed, he will become a free agent able to sign with any organization's 53-man roster or practice squad.

The Dolphins waived Austin on Saturday, NFL reporter Jordan Schultz reports.

Austin signed with the Dolphins in early March. The cornerback has played in 29 career games, totalling 31 tackles (25 solo), eight passes defensed and one interception. Austin is now subject to waivers and will remain available to be claimed through Sunday's cutdown day and into Monday. If the 25-year-old goes unclaimed, he will become a free agent able to sign with any franchise's 53-man roster or practice squad.

The Buccaneers waived Bazelak on Saturday, Greg Auman of Fox Sports reports.

Bazelak was the No. 3 quarterback for the Bucs last year. The second-year player's role seems to have been usurped by undrafted rookie Jalon Daniels, who is set to be the emergency option behind Baker Mayfield and Jake Browning for the 2026 season. Bazelak will now remain on waivers through Sunday's cutdown day. If the 25-year-old goes unclaimed, he will become a free agent Monday able to sign with any franchise's 53-man roster or practice squad.

The Bills released Wishnowsky on Saturday, Tom Pelissero of Netflix reports.

Wishnowsky has evidently lost the punter battle with rookie seventh-round pick Tommy Doman. The two competed throughout training camp and the preseason, but Wishnowsky's horrendous 19-yard punt in Thursday night's preseason finale against the Steelers likely sealed the deal for the veteran. Josh Allen's Bills do not punt very often, but when they do, Doman will now be called upon to save defensive field position.

The Ravens traded Okoye to the Giants in exchange for a 2028 seventh-round pick Saturday, Ian Rapoport of ESPN and NFL Network reports.

The Nigerian player who signed with the Ravens through the International Player Pathway Program in 2025 was not set to make the team's 53-man roster this time around. Okoye will now be reunited with former head coach John Harbaugh and former defensive line coach Dennis Johnson in New York. While Okoye was not set to make the Ravens' roster, he will likely provide a good depth presence for the Giants' 3-4 defense throughout the regular season.

The Patriots waived Dixon on Saturday, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.

The Patriots signed Dixon in early May as an undrafted free agent out of Culver-Stockton. The bulky wide receiver finished Friday night's preseason finale against the Browns with eight receptions for 71 yards. Sunday's cutdown day extends Dixon's waiver period through Monday, but if the 25-year-old goes unclaimed, there is a strong chance he will end up as a member of the Patriots' practice squad for the beginning of the regular season.

Thomas suffered an ankle sprain during Friday night's preseason finale against the Broncos, Kevin Seifert of ESPN.com reports.

Thomas made five tackles (three solo) in Friday's game before sustaining the injury. The undrafted free agent out of James Madison had been taking a significant amount of first-team reps in camp and appears to be set for a significant role throughout the 2026 campaign, potentially as the middle safety in select packages. Thomas is set to have an MRI to investigate the extent of the injury. It remains to be seen how much time the safety will miss.

Schwesinger (undisclosed) will participate in Saturday's practice, Zac Jackson of The Athletic reports.

Schwesinger's participation level is yet to be seen, but it's encouraging sign for the second-year linebacker to return from an undisclosed injury. He has not played in any of the Browns' preseason games, but there's no indication that he's in jeopardy of missing Cleveland's regular-season opener against Jacksonville on Sunday, Sept. 13. The reigning Defensive Rookie of the Year will lead a Browns defense that swapped Myles Garrett for Jared Verse this offseason and also features 2025 first-rounder Mason Graham and five-time Pro Bowl cornerback Denzel Ward.
