Metcalf (undisclosed) has agreed to a restructured contract with the Steelers, Field Yates of ESPN reports.

Metcalf signed a four-year, $132 million contract with the Steelers in March of 2025, and the revamp of the deal coverts a portion of his base salary into a signing bonus while opening up "nearly $18 million" in 2026 cap space for Pittsburgh. Metcalf has been slowed by an unspecified injury during training camp, but he practiced Monday and will be aiming to bounce back after finishing with a career-low 850 receiving yards over 15 regular-season games in 2025.

Spencer (undisclosed) reverted to injured reserve with the Commanders on Wednesday, per the NFL's official transaction log.

Spencer was waived with an injury designation Tuesday, and he ultimately went unclaimed on waivers. He will now be forced to miss the entire 2026 season while on IR, unless he's able to reach an injury settlement with Washington.

Kraft (knee) is expected to be "full go" for the Packers' Week 1 regular-season opener against the Vikings, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.

Kraft got his first taste of full contact in joint practice with the Cardinals on Wednesday, and he deemed himself ready to go for the start of the 2026 season. The tight end isn't going to play in Friday's preseason finale, so all sights are set on Week 1. Kraft will be 10 months removed from his torn ACL next week after he sustained the injury in Week 9 against the Panthers last season.

Hampton (undisclosed) reverted to the Titans' injured reserve list Wednesday, per the NFL's transaction log.

The Titans waived Hampton with an injury designation Tuesday. The linebacker cleared waivers and will now spend the entirety of the 2026 regular season on IR unless he is waived with an injury settlement.

McGlothern (undisclosed) reverted to injured reserve with Minnesota on Wednesday, per the NFL's official transaction log.

McGlothern suffered an undisclosed injury at some point this preseason, and he has cleared waivers after being waived/injured Tuesday. The cornerback is now set to miss the entirety of the 2026 campaign while on IR, unless he can reach an injury settlement with the Vikings.

Wood (concussion) was in a helmet and pads during Wednesday's practice, Joe Hoyt of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Wood was able to log a practice as a full participant Wednesday, meaning he has been cleared by an independent neurologist and should be ready to play in Friday's preseason finale against the Saints. Wood entered the league's five-step concussion protocol last Saturday and has progressed through the stages quickly.

Olave (upper body) returned to practice Wednesday after exiting early Tuesday, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports.

Olave landed hard on his back Tuesday and had the wind knocked out of him, forcing the Saints' star wideout to sit out the remainder of the practice. It's clearly a non-issue moving forward. With Jordyn Tyson (hamstring) set to miss the beginning of the regular season, Olave should see a heavy dose of targets in the New Orleans passing game out of the gate.

The Seahawks waived Vaughn from injured reserve Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Vaughn seems to have recovered from his undisclosed issue and was waived from injured reserve fully healthy. The linebacker has already cleared waivers and is now a free agent able to sign with any franchise.

Voorhis (undisclosed) was waived after reaching an injury settlement with the Jets on Wednesday.

Voorhis reverted to injured reserve with New York on Monday after suffering an undisclosed injury during the preseason. The defensive lineman would've been forced to miss the entire season while on IR, but he will now get the chance to pass a physical and play with another squad in 2026.

King (undisclosed) was waived from injured reserve by the Jets on Wednesday.

King was placed on IR by New York on June 3 after suffering an undisclosed injury. The 23-year-old was set to miss the entirety of the 2026 campaign, but he will now have the chance to pass a physical and play elsewhere this season.
