  • Patriots' Terrell Jennings: Questionable with hamstring issue

Jennings (hamstring) is listed as questionable ahead of Super Bowl LX on Sunday, Feb. 8.

Jennings developed a hamstring issue Thursday and was downgraded to a non-participant in Friday's practice due to the issue. The running back and kick returner has remained on injured reserve since Dec. 13 due to a hamstring issue, and he likely will not be activated for the Super Bowl even with the extra week of recuperation. D'Ernest Johnson was elevated from the practice squad to the active roster for last Sunday's AFC Championship Game and will likely be elevated once again to fill Jennings' role as the No. 3 running back for Super Bowl LX.

  • Julian Love SAF | SEA

Seahawks' Julian Love: Cleared for the Super Bowl

Love (shoulder) doesn't have an injury designation ahead of Super Bowl LX, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.

Love was able to upgrade to a full participant in Friday's practice, just in time to be cleared of any injury designation for the first of two Super Bowl injury reports. The starting safety has progressed enough in his shoulder injury recovery to avoid any injury designation, but he will still have another week to recover before the last game of the season.

  • Mack Hollins WR | NE

Patriots' Mack Hollins: Initially deemed questionable for SB

Hollins (abdomen) is estimated as questionable on Friday's injury report for Super Bowl LX versus Seattle on Sunday, Feb.8.

Hollins returned from a four-week absence to play in last Sunday's AFC Championship Game against Denver and caught both of his targets for 51 yards. This week, Hollins was estimated as limited Wednesday and Thursday before being deemed a full participant Friday. His designation of questionable heading into this weekend is a nod to how the Patriots would tag him if the team was playing this Sunday -- which it's obviously not -- so a better understanding of Hollins' chances of playing in the Super Bowl should come to light with his practice participation levels next week. Unless he suffered a setback against the Broncos, the expectation should be that Hollins will be available for the title game.

  • Sam Darnold QB | SEA

    Seahawks' Sam Darnold: No designation

Darnold (oblique) doesn't have a designation for Super Bowl LX versus the Patriots on Sunday, Feb. 8, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.

Prior to both of Seattle's first two playoff games, Darnold was listed as questionable due to a left oblique injury but still suited up, combining for 470 passing yards, four touchdowns and no interceptions in those contests. He remained listed as limited on all three practice reports of this week, but he seemingly has a clean bill of health before the final contest of the campaign.

  • Drake Thomas LB | SEA

Seahawks' Drake Thomas: Set to suit up

Thomas (shoulder) doesn't have an injury designation ahead of Super Bowl LX, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.

Thomas upgraded to full participation in Friday's practice after being a limited participant earlier in the week. The linebacker sustained a shoulder injury in the fourth quarter of last Sunday's NFC Championship Game victory over the Rams, but he appears to have returned to full health. Thomas will have another week to recover before taking the field against the Patriots on Sunday, Feb. 8.

  • Drake Maye QB | NE

Patriots' Drake Maye: Listed as questionable

Maye (right shoulder/illness) is listed as questionable for Super Bowl LX against the Seahawks on Sunday, Feb. 8.

With one week of Super Bowl prep in the books, Maye capped it with a missed practice Friday due to an illness, which followed back-to-back limited listings due to a right shoulder injury. The second issue mostly has been downplayed by coach Mike Vrabel and Maye himself, but his status still bears watching now that he's dealing with multiple health concerns. The Patriots won't post another injury report until next Wednesday, at which point Maye's availability for the final game of the season could have more clarity.

  • Ernest Jones LB | SEA

Seahawks' Ernest Jones: Ready for the Super Bowl

Jones (chest) doesn't have an injury designation ahead of the Super Bowl LX matchup against the Patriots, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.

Jones was a limited participant in Thursday and Friday's practice sessions, and the absence of any injury designation means the middle linebacker should be good to go for the Super Bowl. The 26-year-old will have one more week to recover fully, but being cleared a week before the game is a strong sign that the defensive captain will be playing.

  • Patriots' Harold Landry: Misses another practice

Head coach Mike Vrabel told reporters that Landry (knee) didn't practice Friday, Mike Kadlick of CLNSMedia.com reports.

Landry has now missed consecutive practices after being sidelined for the AFC Championship Game win over the Broncos due to a knee injury. The 29-year-old led New England's defense in sacks this past regular season, tallying 8.5 across 15 appearances. He'll likely need to upgrade to a full practice at some point to avoid an injury designation ahead of the Super Bowl LX matchup against the Seahawks on Sunday, Feb. 8.

  • Patriots' Robert Spillane: Doesn't practice Friday

Head coach Mike Vrabel told reporters that Spillane (ankle) didn't practice Friday, Mike Kadlick of CLNSMedia.com reports.

Spillane has now logged consecutive DNPs after sustaining an ankle injury in the AFC Championship Game win over the Broncos. The 30-year-old linebacker led New England's defense in total tackles during the regular season, recording 97 stops over just 13 contests. If he's unable to suit up for the Super Bowl LX matchup against the Seahawks on Sunday, Feb. 8, expect Jack Gibbens to have an expanded role with the Patriots' first-team defense.

  • Drake Maye QB | NE

Patriots' Drake Maye: Managing illness and shoulder

Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel said Maye did not practice Friday due to a combination of illness and his right shoulder injury, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.

Maye managed a limited practice session Thursday, which included taking part in throwing drills, but his activity level has now been downgraded due to the addition of an ailment. He was also listed as limited on Wednesday's estimated injury report. Vrabel confirmed that if not for his new illness, Maye would have taken part in practice Friday, per Taylor Kyles of CLNSMedia.com. As such, it doesn't appear that there's any reason for elevated worry about Maye's health after Vrabel stated Thursday that there's "not much" concern about the status of the starting quarterback's shoulder. New England will have one more full week of practice to ramp up Maye's rep count in advance of Super Bowl LX against the Seahawks on Sunday, Feb. 8.
