Coach Sean McVay said Monday that Garrett may not participate in practice this week, Greg Beacham of the Associated Press reports.

Garrett sat out last Tuesday's joint practice with the Cowboys due to swelling in his knee, and while he was spotted working on the side Thursday, he was a DNP for this past Saturday's preseason contest at Kansas City. The Rams will continue to take a cautious approach with their biggest offseason prize to ensure he's as healthy as possible for a Week 1 matchup with the 49ers in Melbourne, Australia on Thursday, Sept. 10.

Chad Graff of The Athletic predicts that Stevenson and TreVeyon Henderson are likely to share New England's backfield work pretty evenly this coming season.

During the 2025 regular season, Stevenson gained 603 yards and logged seven TDs on 130 carries, while adding 32 catches for 345 yards and a pair of receiving scores in 14 regular-season contests. Meanwhile, Henderson recorded 180 carries for 911 yards and nine TDs to go along with 35 catches for 221 yards and another score in 17 regular-season games. With the duo once again on track to continue to share the bulk of New England's rushing load, Graff believes that the team could lean more on Stevenson in short-yardage situations and early downs, while Henderson, who brings big-play potential to the table, is a candidate to check in for second- and third-and-long situations, provided his pass blocking holds up. In any case, while any sort of backfield timeshare can be tricky from a fantasy perspective, both of the Patriots' top backs still should see enough work to generate fantasy utility in 2026.

Nacua has been dealing with a minor groin injury since last Tuesday, which as of Thursday was clarified to be soreness in his psoas. He didn't make the trip to Kansas City for this past Saturday's preseason game, and if he doesn't mix into drills at all this week, either, he seemingly would be trending toward another absence this Saturday versus the Saints. In the end, though, having Nacua 100 percent for Week 1 against the 49ers in Melbourne, Australia on Thursday, Sept. 10 is the key, so the Rams taking a cautious approach with him comes as no surprise

Coach Todd Bowles said Monday that Buccaneers starters, such as Irving, will play in Saturday's preseason game against the Chiefs, Greg Auman of Fox Sports reports.

Both Irving and fellow RB Kenny Gainwell were held out of Friday's preseason game at the Jets, but the pair are slated to get some run in Tampa Bay's second exhibition. After reeling off 1,514 yards from scrimmage and eight touchdowns in 17 regular-season games as a fourth-round rookie in 2024, Irving fell back to 865 total yards and four TDs in 10 appearances last regular season, mostly due to a cascade of health concerns. With Rachaad White moving on to Washington this offseason, Irving has a new running mate in Gainwell, and the breakdown of reps between the two remains to be seen.

Pollard (undisclosed) wasn't spotted at practice Monday, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.

The same applies to fellow RBs Nicholas Singleton (undisclosed) and Kalel Mullings (hip), a context that also applied to Saturday's session, per Terry McCormick of TitanInsider.com. For now, consider Pollard day-to-day as this Sunday's preseason contest against the Seahawks approaches. When available, Pollard is on track to continue to lead a Titans backfield that also includes Tyjae Spears, who is a candidate to see his share of touches in a complementary role.

Dobbins (undisclosed) participated in Monday's practice, Zac Stevens of TheDNVR.com reports.

Dobbins left last Monday's session due to what eventually was termed a soft-tissue injury by coach Sean Payton. The issue didn't stop Dobbins from taking part in individual drills last Tuesday and Wednesday, but the Broncos held him out of Friday's preseason contest in Atlanta. Assuming he continues to make progress, he may be a consideration to play in this Friday's exhibition contest against the Packers.

Waddle (leg) took part in Monday's practice, Parker Gabriel of The Denver Post reports.

Waddle exited practice on Wednesday, Aug. 5 due to muscle tightness in his leg and didn't mix back into drills before sitting out Friday's preseason game in Atlanta. Monday's appearance for the biggest newcomer to the Broncos offense this offseason is welcome news for QB Bo Nix and company, but it's unclear how much work Waddle was able to handle. Waddle's next chance for exhibition action if Fridays versus the Packers.

Nacua (groin) isn't taking part in Monday's practice, Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reports.

Nacua made an early exit from practice last Tuesday due to minor groin soreness, which was clarified as discomfort in his psoas as of Thursday. At the time, coach Sean McVay told Greg Beacham of the Associated Press that Nacua was expected to return to practice "next week," but that won't be the case Monday. The Rams likely will continue to exercise caution with Nacua with the team's regular-season opener more than three weeks in the future.

Coach Robert Saleh said Tate (undisclosed) will be evaluated after taking a hard hit at Monday's practice, Ben Arthur of FoxSports.com reports.

After hooking up with QB Cam Ward on a fourth-and-8 during drills Monday, Tate was slow to get up following the aforementioned hit but was able to walk to the sideline under his own power with a member of the training staff at his side, Arthur reports. Per Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site, Saleh noted he feels "good about where he's at," and doesn't think there's concern "about concussions or anything," but upcoming evaluation will determine if Tate, the fourth overall pick in the 2026 Draft, requires any sort of stint off the practice field.

Coach DeMeco Ryans said Monday that he's unsure if Dell (knee) will play during the Texans' preseason slate, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. "With Tank, he's on his own plan," Ryans noted. "Whatever that entails, geared toward what's best for Tank Dell."

Dell didn't play in Friday's preseason game against the Chargers, which comes as no surprise because he's been limited to individual drills after missing the entire 2025 campaign following a December 2024 play in which he dislocated his left kneecap while also tearing the ACL and MCL in that knee. The Texans' next exhibition is Thursday versus the Raiders, and Houston opens the regular season Sunday, Sept. 13 against the Bills.
