James (hamstring) is listed as out for Sunday's game versus the Seahawks.

James was mostly limited during practice throughout the week, resulting in a questionable designation for Sunday's meeting with Seattle. However, James won't be available in Week 4, meaning Tony Jefferson and Genesis Smith should see considerably more defensive snaps.

Greenlaw (quadriceps) is active for Sunday's game against the Broncos.

Greenlaw has been officially cleared by medical staff to play Sunday, with the veteran linebacker being limited in practice by a quadriceps injury. He'll start alongside Fred Warner and Jaden Dugger at linebacker while Luke Gifford and Garret Wallow provide depth at the position.

Jennings is in line to see a boost in targets as the Vikings' No. 2 receiver for Sunday's Week 4 matchup against the Dolphins, due to Justin Jefferson (hamstring) being ruled inactive for the contest.

Jennings' Vikings tenure has gotten off to an utterly forgettable start, as the veteran receiver has just one reception for one yard on three targets through two games. While Jennings was unable to capitalize on Jefferson's early exit from a Week 3 win over the Buccaneers, the former did log a season-high 47 snaps and ran 24 routes during the contest. Both numbers -- along with Jennings' target share -- will be in line to increase against Miami with Jefferson out, although the possibility Minnesota eventually has the luxury of turning to a run-heavy approach in the second half is also high considering the generally uncompetitive current state of the Dolphins.

James (coach's decision) is inactive against Denver on Sunday.

The second-year pro will observe Sunday's game from the sidelines while the 49ers roll with two active running backs in Christian McCaffrey and rookie Kaelon Black. James' next chance to play is Week 5 against the Seahawks on Sunday, Oct. 11.

Bentley (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the 49ers.

The rookie seventh-rounder has yet to suit up for a regular-season game. His next chance to do so is Week 5 against the Chargers on Sunday, Oct. 11.

O'Connell (coach's decision) is inactive but will serve as the Raiders' emergency third quarterback against the Chiefs on Sunday.

As the emergency QB3, O'Connell is not allowed to play Sunday unless both Kirk Cousins and Fernando Mendoza leave the game due to injury, illness or ejection.

Uiagalelei (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game versus Seattle, though he is listed as the team's emergency quarterback.

Trey Lance (groin) is available to suit up in Week 4, meaning Uiagalelei will be a healthy scratch. However, if Lance and Justin Herbert exit the contest due to injury, illness or ejection, Uiagalelei will serve as the team's emergency signal-caller.

Humphrey (calf) has been ruled out for the rest of Sunday's game against the Titans.

Humphrey injured his calf in the first half, and the injury is severe enough for the veteran corner to be sidelined for the rest of Sunday's game. Chidobe Awuzie will continue to operate in an elevated role defensively in Humphrey's absence.

Downs caught three of four targets for 16 yards in Sunday's 30-13 win over the Commanders.

Even with Alec Pierce (heel) and Keenan Allen (groin) on the shelf, Downs wound up getting a season low in targets as Indianapolis didn't need to pass the ball much against a Washington team that lost Marcus Mariota (knee) in the first quarter, putting seventh-round rookie Athan Kaliakmanis under center. Through four games, Downs is still looking for his first trip to the end zone, posting a 17-202-0 line on 28 targets. He figures to be busier in Week 5 on the road in Pittsburgh.

Lance (groin) is active for Sunday's game against Seattle.

Lance was listed as questionable but will shed the tag and suit up in Week 4. With Lance cleared to play, DJ Uiagalelei is inactive, though he will serve as the team's emergency signal-caller if necessary.
