  • D'Anthony Bell SAF | SEA

    D'Anthony Bell: Cut by Seattle

The Seahawks waived Bell on Tuesday, Curtis Crabtree of Fox 13 Seattle reports.

Bell had played in 13 of Seattle's 14 games this season, but he had mostly featured on special teams. The fourth-year safety tallied 15 tackles (six solo), including 0.5 sacks, during his time with the Seahawks. Bell's departure may signal that the team is preparing to activate WR and kick returner Dareke Young (quadriceps) from IR this week.

  • Jonathan Jones DB | PHI

Commanders' Jonathan Jones: Returns to practice Tuesday

Jones (ribs) was a full participant in practice Tuesday, Ben Standig of Big 100 Washington D.C. reports.

Jones missed this past Sunday's win over the Giants due to an injury to his ribs. He didn't practice in any capacity last week but he was able to log a full session to begin Week 16 prep, which suggests Jones is on track to return to action Saturday against Philadelphia.

  • Tank Bigsby RB | PHI

Eagles' Tank Bigsby: Limited due to illness

Bigsby was a limited participant in Tuesday's walkthrough practice due to an illness.

Bigsby will have two more chances to increase his practice participation ahead of Saturday's road game against the Commanders. The third-year running back is coming off his highest-usage game of the regular season, when he turned 17 carries into 57 yards during Sunday's 31-0 win over the Raiders. Thirteen of those carries came in the fourth quarter, as the Eagles limited the wear and tear on lead back Saquon Barkley (stinger) while they had the game well in hand.

  • Colson Yankoff TE | WAS

Commanders' Colson Yankoff: Doesn't practice to begin week

Yankoff (ankle) did not practice Tuesday, Ben Standig of Big 100 Washington D.C. reports.

Yankoff hurt his ankle Sunday against the Giants and apparently remains bothered by the issue. He'll almost certainly need to practice in some capacity by Thursday to have a chance of suiting up Saturday against Philadelphia. The Commanders are already shorthanded at tight end with Zach Ertz (knee) done for the season, so John Bates and Ben Sinnott are currently the team's only healthy players at the position.

  • Evan Williams SAF | GB

Packers' Evan Williams: Starts week as DNP

Williams (knee) was estimated as a non-participant for the Packers' walkthrough practice Tuesday.

Williams left Sunday's game at Denver early after suffering a knee injury in the second half, and now his availability for Week 16 is in doubt. He'll likely have to participate at practice Wednesday or Thursday to give himself any chance of suiting up Saturday at Chicago.

  • Jalen Carter DT | PHI

Eagles' Jalen Carter: Not practicing to begin week

Carter (shoulders) was estimated as a non-participant for Tuesday's walk-through practice.

Carter continues to recover from surgery on both of his shoulders, which he underwent earlier this month. The standout defensive tackle has missed the Eagles' last two games, and his lack of activity to begin the week puts him in danger of sitting out a third straight contest Saturday versus the Commanders. Byron Young will continue to see an expanded role along the defensive line for as long as Carter is sidelined.

  • Packers' Savion Williams: Estimated as limited Tuesday

Williams (foot) was estimated as a limited participant for the Packers' walkthrough practice Tuesday.

Williams has missed Green Bay's last three contests due to a nagging foot issue, and his status for Week 16 is now up in the air as well. He'll get two more opportunities to manage a full practice before the Packers publish their last practice report of the week Thursday.

  • Bobby Wagner MLB | WAS

Commanders' Bobby Wagner: Still managing knee issue

Wagner (knee) didn't practice Tuesday, Ben Standig of Big 100 Washington D.C. reports.

Wagner has been dealing with a knee injury for most of December, but he hasn't yet missed any games. The veteran linebacker was listed as a DNP due both to the knee and "rest" Wednesday, suggesting that his absence was for injury maintenance rather than a setback. The knee issue didn't seem to bother Wagner in Sunday's win against the Giants, as he logged seven tackles while playing every defensive snap for Washington.

  • Bears' Tremaine Edmunds: Limited in return to practice

Edmunds (groin) was a limited participant in Tuesday's walkthrough practice.

Edmunds missed the Bears' last four games due to a groin injury, but he was designated to return from IR on Monday and has progressed enough in his recovery to participate in practice, albeit in a limited capacity during Tuesday's walkthrough. He would need to be activated from IR in order to be available for Saturday's NFC North tilt against the Packers. D'Marco Jackson has started in each of the Bears' last four games, but he would likely revert to a rotational role on defense and contributor on special teams once Edmunds is cleared to return.

  • Josh Whyle TE | GB

Packers' Josh Whyle: Listed as DNP Tuesday

Whyle (concussion) was estimated as a non-participant for the Packers' walkthrough practice Tuesday.

Whyle suffered a concussion in the first quarter of Sunday's game at Denver, and now he's in jeopardy of missing Saturday's game at Chicago. He'll probably have to return to practice in some capacity Wednesday or Thursday to have any chance of playing in Week 16.
