Wanya Morris OT | KC
Chiefs' Wanya Morris: Doesn't practice Wednesday
Morris (knee) didn't participate in Kansas City's practice Wednesday, per Matt Derrick of ChiefsDigest.com.
Morris' absence doesn't come as a surprise, as it was previously announced that he'd miss the remainder of the season due to the knee injury he sustained during the Week 14 loss to the Texans. Jaylon Moore should take over as the team's starting left tackle going forward.

Nate Adkins TE | DEN
Broncos' Nate Adkins: Logs limited practice Wednesday
Adkins (knee) was limited in Wednesday's practice, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.
Adkins has missed the Broncos' last five games due to a knee injury, but his return to practice Wednesday -- albeit in a limited capacity -- is a sign that he is progressing in his recovery. He has two more chances to log a full practice and be cleared to play against the Packers on Sunday. Adam Trautman and Marcedes Lewis will continue to provide depth at tight end behind Evan Engram for as long as Adkins is sidelined.

Javon Bullard SAF | GB
Packers' Javon Bullard: Still tending to ankle issue
Bullard (ankle) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday.
Bullard was able to play through the problem with his ankle in Week 14 versus the Bears, so it's possible the Packers are just playing things safe as they begin preparations for Week 15. He'll have two more chances to manage a full practice before Green Bay releases its final practice report of the week Friday.

D.J. Jones DT | DEN
Broncos' D.J. Jones: Slated to return Week 15
Jones (ankle) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.
An ankle injury prevented Jones from playing against the Raiders in Week 14, but his ability to practice in full Wednesday puts him on track to play against the Packers on Sunday. Jones' return means Eyioma Uwazurike will revert to a rotational role on the Broncos' defensive line.

Jalen Mills CB | DET
Lions' Jalen Mills: Claimed by Detroit
The Lions claimed Mills off waivers from the Texans on Wednesday.
Mills was waived by the Texans on Tuesday, just three days after being signed off the practice squad to the active roster. Now that he's with the Lions, Mills will give the team a much-needed boost in an injury-depleted secondary that consists of Kerby Joseph (knee), Brian Branch (Achilles) and Thomas Harper (concussion).

Charley Hughlett LS | PHI
Eagles' Charley Hughlett: Designated to return
The Eagles designated Hughlett (abdomen) to return from injured reserve Wednesday.
Hughlett's 21-day practice window is now open after he had been sidelined since September due to an abdomen injury. The 35-year-old was a full participant in Wednesday's practice, so he should have a chance to play in Sunday's game versus the Raiders if the team officially activates him.
-
Hayden Rucci TE | SF
Hayden Rucci: Let go by Detroit
The Lions waived Rucci on Wednesday.
Rucci was claimed off waivers by the Lions on Dec. 1 to give the team added depth at tight end due to Brock Wright (neck) and Sam LaPorta (back) both being on injured reserve. Rucci did not appear in a game for Detroit before being let go, but he could remain with the Lions as a member of the team's practice squad if he clears waivers.

Paris Johnson Jr. OT | ARI
Cardinals' Paris Johnson: Not playing Week 15
Johnson (knee) has been ruled out for Arizona's matchup versus the Texans on Sunday, Darren Urban of the team's official site reports.
Johnson is considered week-to-week after being diagnosed with a sprained MCL earlier in the week. In his absence, Josh Fryar will likely start at right tackle during Sunday's game. Johnson's next chance to play will be the Week 16 matchup versus the Falcons.
-
Thomas Harper SAF | DET
Lions' Thomas Harper: Logs limited session Wednesday
Harper (concussion) logged a limited practice Wednesday.
Harper suffered a concussion in Detroit's Week 14 win over Dallas, so it's no surprise that he was limited to begin the week. He'll have to work through concussion protocol before being cleared to play Sunday against the Rams, which will likely require at least one full practice session.
-
Kerby Joseph SAF | DET
Lions' Kerby Joseph: Returns to practice
Joseph (knee) was a limited practice participant Wednesday.
Joseph is in an odd position, having been sidelined since Week 7 yet never placed on injured reserve. He failed to practice the last two days before Detroit's Week 14 win over the Cowboys, so his return to practice Wednesday is a positive. Nevertheless, his status for a Week 15 matchup against the Rams remains unclear.
